The AC is too cold
Zuma has an intimate feel despite its size. You can have a conversation and not strain to hear. The food is delicious. If you want a romantic atmosphere and good food, try Zuma.
Great food good atmosphere a bit noisy great vibes
Great place. As always great food. Everything is fresh and uniquely flavorful. Chile flavored sliced steak, wasabi Chilean sea bass were outstanding. Dessert platter for birthday celebration is beautiful and delicious. Service is attentive. Great energy in the room.
The only issue is we waited 45 mins for our table.
I had to wait for more than 35 minutes for my table waiting in completely out crowded bar being pushed like traveling in rush hour in the train. They apologized but I was in a bad mood that free edamame didn’t suffice
Lovely environment great food but the servers are slow and sloppy
Starting to feel like a Las Vegas eatery. Too crowded, too loud, assembly line feel throughout the meal. This experience is magnified when you have a hard time discerning which person is your waiter. It is very telling when you find your favorite wine on the list and the price point is so inflated you feel it should come with a private table at your favorite night club. There is no reason to mark up certain vintages to ludicrous levels other than to hope that someone pays it to impress. Pure money grab that tells volumes about management decisions. Otherwise, beautiful space that was once a favorite. Friendly and efficient staff.
We made reservations one week in advance for a table for 2 and the day before the reservations I get a call that my reservation can only be confirmed for a counter not a table. Terrible last minute change.
Was great. Only thing we were told we were in main dining room and we wound up being upstairs by ourselves.
The Salomon it was amazing.
And the corn better than everything
We had a reservation but despite that they made us wait 15 minutes at the door to stand up. the waiter was wrong and put on the table a plate that we had not ordered, when we told him that we had asked for that he put a nasty face of annoyance. Otherwise everything very well. the food great. Too much noise but I guess it's normal in a restaurant like this.
My favourite restaurants used to be Zuma / Roka London, no longer, Zuma New York is in a league of its own, food was exceptional as was the service from genuinely friendly staff who know their product. Great decor too
Great dining experience in NYC
Service was definitely lacking this time around. The order kept getting mixed up and we didn't receive many items. Food was good but some of the sashimi was a little mushy and not as fresh as it should have been. Overall I would hesitate to come back to this location again.
Great vibe! Fab food, amazing drinks and incredible service! What more could you want?!?
Lovely atmosphere, food !! Really like Zuma, been in Zuma London, Miami, Las Vegas, always a lovely food!!!
Slow service after the entrees were served.
Food was outstanding, but service tried bringing the wrong food several times and messed up order not bringing out an item and the food came out at different times so we had to wait for 15-20 minutes from when the 1st of our party got her entree to when the 4th of our party got his entree.
Had to wait for our table for 45 minutes.
We loved everything we had except for the toro rolls. They were mushy and watery, lacked flavor and were not worth the money. Overall a wonderful experience, just hope they improve the toro or remove from menu.
Beautiful restaurant, I went there with my husband for my birthday . The food was good , excellent service good drinks , overall a good experience, just a bit pricey
Some of the appetizer were dry over cooked Ex calamari. Chicken wings and prawns
Main course was great. Cod
Drinks were terrible smoked whisky and lycee martini.
The Vegas location was 100 percent better be than the NY location
Beautiful restaurant. lots of staff members however our main waiter was very pushy in making us order quickly and trying to get us to purchase the highest priced items as his recommendations. my water was never refilled throughout the night. our 2nd round of drinks took 15 minutes to arrive (it was 4 beers). Ambience was solid. food had its hits and misses but no item was Wow
It is the best Tartare I've ever had. All the food was amazing.
Regardless of having a reservation, every single time I’ve gone to this restaurant I have waited at the bar for my table for at the least 20 minutes, past my res time. Unacceptable for the prices you pay here and you can tell that it’s run poorly by a bunch of young people.
The restaurant is beautiful. The staff was tremendous. The food and drink was by far one of my favorite Japanese tasting experiences.
This is a wonderfully romantic restaurant that has a cozy feeling, despite its size. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend that you give it a try.
Well Zuma reliable as ever. A business dinner this time. Was a bit expensive 870 dollars for 3 but well worth it as always.
Excellent atmosphere and food, but service attention a bit slow
Never fails to keep me coming back
A wonderful find in the busy city. Food, Sushi, Sashimi, Wagyu all superbly prepared. The pace of each item was excellent .. nothing came out too fast nor slow. Service was exceptional by Valerie. Will return.
Me and my friends went to Zuma, at the door we got attitude for no reason, We did not feel welcome there. Food was Ok.
They did not take i to consideration put dietary recommendations. Also, having tried London Dubai and Abu Dhabi branches I have to say this was my least favorite.
I HAD THE PLEASURE OF DINING WITH MY NIECE AT ZUMA IN NYC ON MADISON AVENUE THIS PAST SATURDAY, MARCH 16. EVERYTHING FROM START TO FINSIH WAS AMAZING!! THE HOSTESS SAT US AT A LOVELY TABLE. OUR WAITER WAS VERY NICE AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE MENU. HE RECOMMENDED A FEW DISHES THAT UNLESS TOLD, WE WOULD HAVE NEVER ORDERED ON OUR OWN. MY NIECE IS 15 AND FELT VERY GROWN UP ORDERING A MOCK COCKTAIL AND TRYING NEW SOPHISTICATED AND FUN DISHES IN A VERY MODERN, COOL, & SLEEK ATMOSPHERE! THE DESSERTS WERE FABULOUS AS WELL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING DISHES: THE ROCK SHRIMP, THE SHISHITO PEPPERS, THE SPICY TUNA ROLL, THE TOFU SALAD, THE WASABE CHICKEN ENTREE, AND THE BANANA-GREEN TEA CAKE & THE DECADENT CHOCOLATE SOUFLE! THANK YOU ZUMA! CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!
Beautiful, exceptional food, chic and at the same time kids friendly. Very rare combination.
Excellent sushi and phenomenal service at a business lunch price.
