Fantastic restaurant, really awesome.
One of the best tasting menus i had in a fine dining restaurant!!!
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. service is always great and food is sooo yummy!
Never a disappointment. A consistent dinner whenever we visit.
Un imprescindible en NYC!
Appetizer took about 30 mins for a soup n main course’s where cold an they were steak
I really disappointed from Zuma service. On a restaurant with a glamorous name I expected at least to a toothpick after we ordered the corn cob dish!
The server didn’t even asked us even once if everything is okay with the food, if we need something, we needed to shout a few times until a server paid attention to us when we wanted to order a dessert. But when we asked for the check they heated it right away.
Even in a “simple” restaurant they pay more attention to the costumers needs.
We left the restaurant with mixed feelings.
Incredible tasting menu but soooooooo much food! Thankfully someone was at home to eat the rest!
Presentation was absolutely amazing and quality of food beyond.
The prawn tempura had a taste of used oil, the prawn/cod dumplings were not so tasty.
The Zuma Miami was better, and our last time in Zuma NYC in 2017 better too.
Great food & ambience! Loved Scott and his kind manner and excellent customer service.
Food is always fresh and supsrb sashimi. Great service
Zuma is amazing, always.
Service was terrible. One hour before anyone approached our table to take our order. It was a Monday night and although tables were filled at 6pm there was no help and the food when finally ordered took even longer
Great place. Great food. Beautifully designed but designed for corporate expense accounts. Dinner for 2, 3 drinks and and about 8 or 9 various dishes we shared plus dessert. About $350 with tip and was looking for leftover pizza when I got home. The price was in line with the quality, service and atmosphere but I was still hungry. Would not go back if I was paying.
It was amazing...everything was perfect...zuma truly lived upto the hype .... loved the sushi and the chocolate cake dessert...lovely place and a must visit 😊❤️
Good atmosphere! Great food. Can definitely recommend this place!!!!
Excellent food - but had to call someone to get out waiter to come take out order. Once that was done service was good
Always a nice lunch
Very good and tasty but à little beat expensive
Salmon terryaki and black cod incredible
This restaurant may have good food but I couldn’t eat it because they would not listen to my food instructions necessary for my health. Time and time again. Left hungry and a bit poorer
Service was appalling. Our waitress disappeared. Just left menus on the table with no explanation. Took our drinks order after we had to call her over a few times. Then we never saw her again. Asked someone else to bring us the check.
Previous experience there was excellent, but this time service was slow and not very attentive, and portions quite small for even the Restaurant Week price. This used to be a favorite restaurant, but no longer, despite excellent decor and good food (but the food quality and quantity have gone down). Still, for its location, it's a find since there's not much else nearby.
We are regulars here, and it's always our favorite. Great sushi, but also amazing non-sushi dishes. There is literally something for everyone that will truly impress the most discriminating foodie.
Great food ! Fantastic service
The 2-floor restaurant is beautifully decorated. Wine collection storage adjacent to the glass elevator (ada compliance). Ornate details. Nice seating. Great place for a private event. We both enjoyed the fried tofu & avocado appetizer & the salmon entree. We agreed that it’s probably the best filet that we’ve eaten in a long while. Attentive staff. Highly recommend! We’re definitely coming back.
The restaurant is beautiful and the food is really good. It is quite pricey, especially as the portions are quite small and the service is not up to this price level.
Overall, we had a good experience.
We had a really nice anniversary dinner
Presentation was outstanding. The salmon tartare was good. The wagyu flank steak was a little chewy. The dessert was definitely the highlight. Got the chocolate 'sumo' with mango sorbet, which i wouldn't mind getting that again.
Son’s 16th bday
Loved it ..everything was near to perfection .... baby chicken is a NO order ....
The food was great, loved the overall ambience.
Unfortunately our experience was ruined by my sunglasses getting stolen from the rest room. I kept them on the shelf above the sink, I went back after 20 mins & they were gone. Surprisingly they were not found at all. Surprised they would get stolen in a place like zuma, more something u would expect at a something like a McDonald’s restroom
Amazing experience every time we visit!!!
I love the fried calamari, shrimp and black cod dumplings, portobello mushrooms with garlic sauce, beef tenderloin with sweet soy, chirashi maki!! love it!!
As always, we enjoyed our visit to Zuma. The wine selection of wines, whiskey and cocktails suit any visitor. The food is amazing, we haven’t tried anything we didn’t like.
Our favorites are: Portobello mushrooms in garlic sauce, shirmp and black cod dumplings, beef tenderloin with sesame and sweet soy and the chirashi maki!!!! However, everything is good, so you can’t go wrong!!!
Muy bueno pero muy ruidoso
Service was very slow to bring winr and cutlery. The rest was great
The first impression was great, specious place, two floors designed with high wood ceilings and stones in decor (Japanese style), nice bar area and very comfortable chairs😊. I got the items from #therestaurantweek special menu:
🔹Miso soup -was ok, like everywhere else
🔹Salmon tartare - it came like pâté with a piece of crispy lotus and crispy rice toast, was delicious with a touch of yuzu
🔹4oz. flank steak - was below average
🔹Yuzu cheesecake with raspberry sorbet - yummy liked it the most 😋 for an additional charge, but I got it on the house 🤫............... When I arrived at around 2 pm they were a little busy, so I waited for food around 20-25 min.
Overall was an interesting experience. I liked the ambiance and dessert the most, service was good and attentive. I'll probably give another try for sushi next time. Bon petit!
The restaurant week menu is rather disappointing. Very bland. It doesn’t give options of what zuma is famous for.
I had a lunch reservation for myself for restaurant week and, when I arrived, there were plenty of available tables but they asked me to wait. They then seated me at the sushi bar -- which was ok but I would have preferred a table. The food was very good but, I felt, extremely small portions. The dessert was very good -- a chocolate mousse filled with mango mousse shaped like a Buddha.
Perfect, the best restaurant
One of our favorite restaurants. Everything is delicious (always)! Always great service.
