Great experience excellent food
Zuma like everywhere
Black cod !
Food was very good! However, the prices were high and the service wasn’t very good. We waited for our drinks for about 25 minutes. Also, it was very noisy inside. Would recommend to others, if they’re okay with the downfalls.
Dinner was delicious - the sea scallops were FANTASTIC. Ambiance was beautiful - service was excellent. Great place for dinner and or special occasions - birthdays and anniversary.
there was definitely a problem with this reservation. We reserved for 3 people at 8pm, and were not physically seated until 8:30pm. They told us they were running late and they would seat us in 5 minutes at 7:54pm, then we waited until 8:30 then spoke to the hostess who were unkind unsympthetizing and not sorry for their mistake. The manager talked to us at 8:34pm after we sat down and I said the service was unacceptable. that was it. it was so loud and we were 3 people seated at a table for 8 people, we could barely hear each other and waiters were not as attentive as they could be.
The Standard Omakase was great. We thought there was not going to be enough food but it ended up we were so full towards the end of dinner that we could not finish the last three dishes. It is quite expensive but great for a special occasion. Our server and runners that brought us the food were fantastic.. some explained the food better than others.
While the food was good. The overall experience was a big let down, especially since it was with a client. The server kept interrupting our conversation and rushing us to order. And when we ordered drinks and appetizers to start he insisted we order the full meal together, which’s outrageous, never experienced such service anywhere. And the last experience summed it all. The hostess came in to check how was the food, and then immediately if we could vacate the table. We had just paid, on the pretense of checking on the experience, she wanted to the turn the table. Would never go back and more importantly I’ll make sure to spread the word with my friends and acquaintances to avoid this restaurant for sure.
Phenomenal sushi and professional welcoming service. Always a treat. The combination of flavors and perfectly fresh fish from all over the world are exquisite.
Too expensive for the value. It's a great place for people who are not cost-sensitive.
Si mangia benissimo, ci sono tornato volentieri. Lo consiglio vivamente
It was amazing!! Very delicious lobster and sushi-maki
Exceeded our expectations! By far the best meal and dessert we have ever had! Will definitely return and recommend to others!!!
Fuimos noche vieja y salimos muy satisfechos recomendable
New years eve...!!!
Plenty of food, great value
Bad service at entrance. Had a reservation at 22.30 and we were waiting for 35min
Excellent experience on the signature menu. We Love it!
Celebrated my 50th birthday at Zuma
This is not my first time here at Zuma, i’ve been here 2x and had a nice experiences. But this time when i brought guest here, i kinda dissappointed since the service not good at all. The food is kinda late to be out and the server or busboy is not attentive at all. I dont know if i want togo back again. I expected this place like Nobu since this place looks like a fine dining restaurant
Outstanding food. Very loud for a Japanese restaurant! Service was great. Good variety of sushi and small sharing plates. Very inventive. Worth a visit.
Food is good but not worth the price
I went to the zuma of dubai and I ate them very well, one of the restaurants where I ate better.
the kitchen of the zuma in new york disappointed me, not comparable with dubai
Really Nice location and amazing Food. Portions are a bit small for the price
We had the premium Tasting menu. Really great food!
First time there as more than 2 people party. Service was very slow this time unfortunately, we received our food before even getting something to drink. Food was awesome as usual, top quality.
The food was a good proxy for authentic Japanese food. The menu is extensive and everything we ate was fantastic.
I love Zuma. The food is amazing and the service beyond outstanding
Way overpriced for the quality and the service.
My fourth time here and my last.
Beautiful ambience, well prepared dishes, excellent service...a total dining experience.
The coat check person was stand-off ‘Ish’, and wasn’t clear as to when our table would be ready (we arrived on time). I think it’s standard for restaurants to tell you that ‘your table isn’t ready, so feel free to get a drink at the bar’, because it’s another way to increase revenue, but we waited at the bar for 25-minutes and no one came. The bartender was also not nice. Our pre-dinner experience was not favorable. Once we sat down, things were good. Our expectation is that the experience should be top-notch the entire time...especially for the price.
Service was not good.
The service was atrocious at this Zuma. the waiter and bus staff had no concept re clearing table, drinks, placing items on the table, suggestions for ordering or solving problems with an order. having just been to Zuma in Dubai and in London, this branch pales in comparison
We had the Omakase. It was excellent and a great value. Timing of each dish and the service was excellent. Will return. Will also recommend it to friends.
The Food was delicious , the roasted lobster was the best highly recommended
The food was INCREDIBLE and truly it was more like an experience than a meal. We got the Chef's choice/Premium and the amount of food along with the quality of it was absolutely fantastic. The overall ambience of the restaurant was great...the Vibe was really really nice. My review based on the ambience was where we were sat only.
Food came way too quickly. We would have been done in 30 minutes with Dinner. Ask them to slow down pace. There was no room on table for more food. We had not been served drinks until half way thru the meal. Service was below par. We ask for more of certain things and that took a a very long time: extra crackers for salmon and tuna tArtar. Actually we were not even sure who was in charge of our table. It created a poor dinning experience. There was s large party upstairs but that should have not had an impact on our service. Not sure if I would comeback after this experience or recommend . Disappointed
Zuma is one of the most amazing places I have had the pleasure of dining. The food was exceptionally flavorful and well plated. Highlights included the tempura squash, the ribeye steak, and the mushroom hot pot with truffle. The cocktails were also incredibly well mixed and the cocktail menu had many unique options to choose from. All in all I would gladly return any day!
