Anniversary

Best dinner we’ve had in a LONG while. Everything was EXCELLENT. Everyone loved the recommendation. Sushi was great, steak, appetizers, sea bass... can’t go wrong with anything you order, everything was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back again!

Had a feeling like sitting in the waiting room before getting a table, very cold and uncomfortable.

Top quality food, with very creative and innovative flavors and combination of ingredients. Great ambiance, and fantastic service, especially from Raymond, who was very professional, courteous and savvy.

Aside from being a bit pricey, I highly recommend Zuma. Plenty of outdoor eating!

Celebrated my Xmas dinner here. It was a quiet night. Food was fine, except for the starters which had mysteriously been ‘forgotten by the kitchen’ after enquired what had happened to the dish, even tho server had removed all cutlery and eating implements. Sounds like a kitchen problem alright...
Anyway, food was great but after being in Zuma for 2 hrs on a slow night, then waiting another 30mins for the missing starter (simple dumplings) after had finished a main course, they arrived so greasy, couldn’t finish them. A wasted dish sadly.
At least the disasters dumplings were comped.
Zuma, please provide support to your new staff on slow nights or to staff in general. I like eating here and would like to continue as dine here regularly, but will refrain from doing so for a little while at least, until feel comfortable with not having a special occasion dinner marred by less than perfect service us diners are paying for.

The food was bad quality and way to overpriced fir what it is. The music was very loud . We sat outside in the atmosphere was not pleasant.
The cocktails were amazing though. I would recommend the lychee martini or the Mexican drink.

Honestly, don’t waste time going there. The sushi rolls are not even as good as the sushi bar down the street. Service was good. Wanted to like it, but with those prices, it’s just not worth it, given the quality. Not even average!

The greeter at the front door was a real jerk. I showed up early on Friday, December 11, 2020. I had an 8:00 PM reservation, and asked to be seated to wait for my date, who was running late.. He told me “we can’t seat you until both parties are here“.

That was acceptable. I then made the mistake of telling him that my date was running late. He told me very firmly “once the 15 minute window has passed you can’t get in“. It became obvious to me that he had preferred guests by the way he was hugging some of his male customers that he knew, and he definitely treated the females differently. A guy showed up right after me with the same challenge and he told him the exact same thing.

Once my female date showed up, he changed his demeanor completely. By now, I had called the restaurant and pushed my reservation back. It all worked out, but that initial experience was not good. Somebody needs to counsel this person.

The wait staff was very good and the food was excellent.

La comida sinceramente no es para nada deslumbrante. He ido a infinidad de restaurantes por pasos y este fue por lejos al que no volvería.

Hay una excentricidad donde te proponen tirarte chocolate tibio en las manos y comer de ahí, me pareció desagradable y totalmente innecesario.

Lo mejor que tiene es el servicio. Desde la persona que te atiende cuando llegas hasta el el último mozo súper atentos y cordiales.

Las gigantografias del Cheff en la puerta del lugar contando como “ser exitoso” también me parecieron de mal gusto.

Por último el precio en relación a comida y ambiente es por demás excesivo.
