The funghi mussles were amazing. Great service and amazing food!
Great food. Little slow with the drinks, but overall very good.
Four of us ate tapas style rather than ordering large plates. This gave us a greater variety of tastes--and we were not disappointed. Presentation of food was delightful. Our server was absolutely the best, always anticipated our needs.
We always enjoy Zula! Definitely our ‘go-to’ date night restaurant. Service always impeccable. Food is outstanding.
Best mussels I’ve ever had! Great arancini and wonderful brownie dessert!
As Always, Great! Well done Zula!
Had the New Orleans gumbo mussels and tuna and mushroom small plates. Very creative and excellent flavors and combinations!! Found another favorite restaurant!
Reasonably priced for exceptional food. Waiter only gave a choice of bottled or sparkling water until we inquired, just wanted regular tap water. Also, the waiter advised us to order 10 items to share amongst only 4 of us. We ordered 4 and it was plenty. Me thinks the waiter trying to boost the tab! 😂 Would definitely return.
Great place with delicious and unique choices
Brought my mom for an early Mother’s Day dinner. Our waitress Jamie was awesome and my mom loved it.
Food was excellent. When I make a reservation for 5 pm, however, I don’t expect to be seated in a high-top chair next to my dining partner at the bar. So the seating was uncomfortable and it was hard to have a conversation over dinner. Meanwhile, I asked for a regular table and plenty were open throughout the meal, but I was not accommodated.
Our go-to place. I love everything about Zula. Can’t miss here.
Totally recommend it.
Always spectacular!!! We love this spot. Phenomenal mussels, carpaccio, flat breads, anything you order you will love. Super cute and quaint. Emily our server was very sweet and our food arrived very quickly and always piping hot. Don’t forget to order the bread. OMG. If you love fresh baked Parisian style bread you will be in heaven. It is a must to soak up all of the broth from your mussels dish! Until we meet again...
This was our first time at Zulas and we loved it.
Started with the beet salad= absolutely delish then we shared the Napoli Mussels and the Bulgarian feta flat bread. Everything was fantastic. Drank a Spanish Red wine with it.
Perfect meal and evening. We will certainly come again.
Great food and service. My only critique was seating. There were plenty of open seats but we were placed right next to another couple when we could have had a quieter spot.
Exceptional food! I was surprised, more than once, by how incredibly delicious the food tasted. From the mushroom (incredible broth) as an
appetizer to the beet salad (with a hint of blue cheese) to the Vietnamese mussels (unbelievable) and finally the salted caramel brûlée. And what a great drink selection!!
Zulu’s may be my new favorite restaurant in Cincy. I’ve already recommended it to multiple people. Great for pre-Music Hall since it’s a block away. But make reservations! It was packed.
We think of Zula for its great food and drinks! The past 2 times we’ve recently dined, we’ve had the same long time server Hannah and her service will keep us coming back and asking for her!! We even had restaurant industry guests & they were impressed :)
Food was excellent and our server definitely enhanced the experience with her overview of the menu.
Great service, unique food options
Meh! Service was good though. I bet this place does a good job of separating money from people with too much of it on their hands. You can get a way better plate or glass of wine for the same price lots of other places in the area.
What a great spot for a casual business dinner, a group of friends or a family meal. Not only were there great wine selections, our server (I wish I remembered her name) gave us great recommendations and brought us 1 oz pours so we could pick the best of our 3 finalists. Our favorite of 3 small plates was the deconstructed lamb and our seasonal spring flatbread was delectable. My guest was very pleased with my restaurant choice. Will definitely return and she's certain to bring her clients to Zula as well.
Food was excellent! Only complaint is that the server didn’t check on us very much though, she was new and also restaurant week. We had a party of three, my friend who only got a salad ordered it without cheese- not only did they mess that up, but we waited at least ten minutes or so for a new salad. Also, I don’t think there was enough table attendance as far as cleaning it off and making sure we had everything we needed before our food hit the table. Zula is still a favorite of mine nonetheless
First time at restaurant!! Food was delicious!!! Highly recommend this tapas restaurant!!!
Zula never disappoints! I need to go more often. The food is spot on delicious and fresh and the vibe is energetic with a European feel. Get the mussels and frites and any of the crudo offerings. Tried the mushrooms for the first time and those too were delicious. Excellent beer list to pair perfectly with your meal.
Food was great. Didn't find the server to be friendly or helpful.
We have been to Zula's several times and have always been pleased. One time we had most of our family at Over the Rhine. We had been to Zula's and wanted to take the family there. But we didn't have reservations. We stopped in at about 5 and they said they could seat us right then because the big center table hadn't been reserved until later. We all really enjoyed the meal!
One of our favorite restaurants --our go-to restaurant.
Great food, lively atmosphere, and earnest service. My only quibble is that the place literally shut down on a weekend soon after the kitchen closed at eleven.
We had a great time but I was disappointed that there was no acknowledgement of a birthday when it was mentioned in the beginning.
Food was excellent as always, however, the server appeared to be in a bad mood and acted like our table was a bother. Not very friendly and/or conversational.
We reserved on Open Table and thus had to sit at the communal table. Not as bad as I thought though and kind of enjoyed the comeraderie. Food is tasty as usual but $4 for a couple of rolls is a little off the wall. Still would go again as we have been many times before.
The mussels are wonderful, with good portions. The noise level was low enough that we could converse, a benefit lacking in many restaurants. And the server was perfect - helpful, welcoming, funny, and gave wonderful suggestions as to menu items. We'll be back!
Fantastic as always!
Everything was great but noise level was awful
Outstanding. Presentation, variety of food choices, service, ambiance. From salad to flatbread to mussels to decadent chocolate brownie dessert.
Thank you for another fine meal and great service. We will be back soon as we were warmly welcomed.
We had a super sweet and knowledgeable server who offered suggestions upon request. The mussels, as always, were fantastic! (We had the New Orleans style) Overall, a great place to grab dinner and drinks with the girls!
Enjoyed the different foods and their presentation!
Lovely meal. Fantastic food.
