I had an OpenTable reservation for two at 4:30 p.m., for dinner. We checked in, in a timely manner and proceeded to have our dinner. Upon checking in with the young gentleman at the hostess/greeting stand at the entrance, I mentioned "specifically" to make sure that I would be checked in correctly so that I would receive my dining points with OpenTable. We ate dinner, and the food was good. Service was timely.
However, when I returned home to give my review here on OpenTable, I was shocked and surprised to be marked as a "No Show" for my reservation in which I was indeed present. I was then totally inconvenienced at having to call Z'Tejas, to rectify this matter. I can say though, that the current manager on duty that I spoke with, named Dillon, was absolutely fantastic and terrific in rectifying this error quickly so that I would receive my points. I am a VIP here with OpenTable, (at least 90+ reviews approximately), and have never been a "No Show" in my life! Thank you Dillon!
Please train your employees in how to enter OpenTable reservations correctly into your system so that other patrons are not inconvenienced in this way. A complimentary appetizer or better would sure be appreciated here, as it was very stressful for me to have this resolved, and should not have happened in the first place. It is extremely rare that I will post a review such as this.
