Proudly serves only the finest cuts of aged steaks and local chops. Our steaks and chops are simply seasoned with Utah’s Redmond Sea Salt and cracked black pepper.
Our steaks are cooked to your liking in a broiler reaching 1800° F which sears the outside while locking in the natural juices
Saturdays we feature our Taste of Zermatt Buffet. Serving our Seasoned Prime Rib, Local Cheeses, Fresh seafood, and a selection of our Zermatt Bakery made desserts. (Ale Carte Menu not available Saturdays).
The food and the service were both excellent. We went there for an anniversary meal and it was the perfect place to go. The atmosphere is nice and we could talk without being overwhelmed by noise. I do miss that before dinner pretzels and the dinner mints after the meal.
Fantastic place to go on a date! Live music on weekends great salad bar! Steaks to die for! Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere!
Not a great experience, the food was bad, it was very loud, and it they had the worst "live" music I have ever had.
Menu needs improvement, we expected more quality and options not only for the price but because of the location. I understand the need for Mac and Cheese (which was super tasty) and french fries because of the amount of families with little kids but wings, pizza, etc... that's too much!
Salad options was poor, too simple. Cookies, bread pudding, canolis for dessert... Zermat, please up your game! We love it there but after this last experience, we'd rather go downtown to eat.
We arrived at 8:40, what we thought was 10 minutes late, but their hours had changed to closing at 9, not 10. Being a buffet, there were slim pickings. The cold meat and cheese were discolored from being out for so long and there was no meat offerings except the end of what may have been prime rib hours earlier. The waitress barely knew we were there, as she and the rest of the staff were filling their take out containers. For 2 meals of stale food, a soft drink and water with lemon, I paid $92. Don’t waste your time, and especially not your money
The price for the buffet was not worth it. Some of the side and main dishes were cold. The dessert bar was excellent though.
Kendra was great! The food was yummy and we loved the live music. Great place to celebrate our 20th anniversary!
We had a lovely light dinner. Swiss Fondue and a salad. Everything was delicious. Bread baked in the bakery next door was fabulous. Would go again if in Midway.
we went on our 20th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the Chateaubriand immensely!
We were REALLY looking forward to the Chateaubriand. We didn’t know until we got there that it was buffet only.
terrible experience from beginning to end. Don't waste your time on their buffet
good food, not great food. very understaffed! ran out of plates all the time. food was not replaced quickly when dishes emptied.
Food was delicious. We went on a Saturday when they had the buffet. Great selection of food and desserts. Prime rib was delicious (way better than the flavorless prime rib you get at other buffets), and they even had fried calamari. We really enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Staff was very attentive and always cleared away empty plates. Would definitely go there again.
I was not aware that only buffet food was available. I did not see value in paying $32.00+(each) for a buffet and would have chosen a different restaurant.
Had reservations but still had to wait 20 minute but it was a busy Valentine’s Day crowd. Food was very good.
Extremely overpriced meal for Valentine’s Day, with very small portions. Steak was ordered medium and came out rare to medium rare, was advertised as a five course meal but one of the courses was a small pastry and the other was a pallet cleanser. We spent $170 on dinner and had to pick up something else to eat on the way home because we were still hungry, and the Valentines menu didn’t give us any options
Over were tall food ended up being pretty good. Downside was we, andvit sounded like most patrons, were not informed of the fix menu for Valentine's day. All ended well as we were able to decide on something from the limited menu. Service was ok.
Went there on Valentine’s Day
Had a singer singing romantic songs
Had the filet very tasty and tender
They decided to only serve their "$65 menu" for Valentines day which they didn't notify anyone about until being seated and had only three choices. The server didn't even know what the menu items were she had to ask somebody.
Service was nice, food was good. Reasonably priced and a nice selection.
The personnel is very pleasant but untrained in professional service that’s a management issue.
Because of the size of the room and no buffers it was hard to hear a conversation. Too many young children.
It didn’t feel like dining it was more like feeding at the zoo.
We were a party of six from Philadelphia for the Saturday night The buffet left nothing to be desired. Everything was phenomenally delicious. There was a prime rib roast, fried shrimp, beef bourguignon, work medallions with raspberry sauce, multiple vegetables, potatoes different things made up wonderfully with lots of sauces. There was a superb salad bar, and a beautiful dessert bar. Highly recommend it and delicious.
It was a busy evening there was a local high school dance of some sort but our waitress Kendra was wonderful. Cheerful and kind. She was prompt with drinks. Set great expectations for timing of food and checked in frequently. Besides the great service the food was awesome.
We went to dinner for an early Valentines dinner and had heard the food was delicious. The food was good but the service was horrible! I’d rather go to Texas Roadhouse next time! Our waiter never checked back for drink refills or if we needed anything after we got our meals. We had to track down other people in order to get anything. Mid through our dinner I had to ask if we get any bread or rolls. Apparently it was supposed to come before our meal or appetizers and was unlimited, but we had to ask?!!! Ridiculous for the amount we paid! Won’t be coming back!
Went to the Saturday buffet - it was not a good experience. The service was terrible - took a long time for drinks with several apologies along the way. Enough of the apologies, just serve the drinks! As for food, the poor kids working there just couldn’t keep up on refilling dishes - many of the items were empty - bread, caprese salad, several items on the salad bar, chicken, salmon and shrimp all empty. What was there was OK, but it just doesn’t make up for the lack of attention to details. It’s just a buffet and should be the easiest thing to keep people happy. But, this was unfortunately a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. I can only hope the service and the overall experience is better on other nights. We live nearby and have always hoped that this would be a nice alternative for dinner, but it’s not on the list yet. Sorry to be so painfully blunt.
The Chateaubriand was amazing!!
We waited quite a while for our food after ordering. Brother in law ordered a salad which came the same time as the meal. The food was great. We all enjoyed our dinner. Need more help out front.
We arrived on a Sunday night and was greeted and seated without issue. The restaurant was EMPTY. Big red flag for sure. As we walked to our table all of us were overcome by a horrible smell. Once seated, we finally figured out it was the dirty carpet that smelled so bad. I’ve never understood carpet in a restaurant. How do you clean spilled milk? We couldn’t take it longer and politely left without ordering. I walked past a salad bar on our way out and it was definitely past it’s prime.
The saturday buffet was good. The prime rib was so so but a few other items were very good. Good service with nice views. Overall a good experience
Horrible food. Food was cold. Cajun Pasta way too much spice.
so much better than chuck o rama, more like chuck that nastiness in the trash! z’s is the place to go, me and my gay friend had the best time, i’m not gay though but my friend is, we’re not gay together, just him. we we’re celebrating our anniversary of becoming friends and our waiter, ty, was absolutely amazing! he was so nice to my gay friend and my gay friend thought he was really hot. thanks for making our zermatt experience 11/10 highly recommend.
Z's was a great option for the Saturday night buffet.
Took my husband here for his birthday thinking there would be crab legs on the dinner buffet. Was highly disappointed due to the price. All the pics online showed crab legs. Wasn't worth the drive or the price.
We were hoping for a steak dinner, but found out when we got to the restaurant that it was a buffet only. The food was good with lots of options, but not what we expected. We didn’t see the “buffet only” message on their website. I would recommend it.
It is with a sad heart that I feel I must leave a review, My husband and I have eaten at z chop haus on many occasions, always ordering our favorite dish the Chateubriand , This past Saturday night we made reservations for our Anniversary, from the moment we arrived the restaurant was in total chaos, once we finally were seated , no one came to our table or acknowledged us for over 20 minutes, that would have been our warning to leave , finally when our waiter arrived he proceeded to try to sell us on the salad bar which is funny considering this is a steak house, he told us they were already out of their house pretzel appetizer and that they no longer had any Filets, again this is a Steak House and it was only 7:30 pm
We ordered our appetizer and dinner , the Chateabriand MEDIUM cooked at the same time because they seemed to be running slow! While we were waiting we also witnessed the table next to us have to holler to get help, a table behind us had been waiting a long time on a appetizer that they had ordered then their waiter came out to inform them that they ran out of what they had ordered!
Finally over a hour of waiting for our dinner, it was served to our table , The Chateaubrind is an expensive dish that we only splurge on for special occasions like our Anniversary, it arrived at our table EXTREMELY WELL DONE with not a ounce of pink or juice to be seem! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE when you order an expensive meal! My husband told the on site supervisor , no manager was available that we would not be eating our meal or paying for it!
So with a sad heart , the Z Chop haus ruined our Anniversary dinner, I will NEVER return again and want to warn others not to either!!!
Great New Years Eve dinner, price fixe 6 courses. Plus a little amuse bouche. Very old school menu was a real treat! What the servers lacked in sophistication, they more than made up for in enthusiasm and eagerness to please. A very fun evening. The grand piano player in the entrance was delightful.
We went for the Saturday night buffet and it was great! The selection isn't huge, but everything was very good!
Loved the atmosphere. Our service was wonderful - very nice gentleman. Great food. Thank you.
Breakfast buffet with Santa will be our new holiday tradition! Beautiful place, epic food, so fun to have cookies to decorate while we wait to see Santa 🥰
We went to this restaurant for the first time with our kids for a special breakfast with Santa. The food was amazing for a breakfast buffet and the ambience and atmosphere was so fun and enjoyable. The gratuity was automatically added to our bill which was fine but the service from our waiter was pretty spotty and not the best. When it came time to see Santa, the line was pretty long and not moving quickly at all. Then out of nowhere Santa gets up and tells all the kids to come up so he can tell them a story. Naturally, the parents all followed and then he randomly gets up back in his seat afterward and starts having other people in line resume coming up to him- leaving it so that we all lost our place in line and had to go clear to the back...pretty lame if you ask me.
The restaurant was great, food was excellent...Santa ruined the experience for us.
