Zoubi serves inventive American Cuisine in a casual al fresco setting. Dinner served five nights a week courtyard seating and open air bar.
Very nice meal, great atmosphere and beautiful courtyard. Service was very friendly and great personalities.
Best food in town. Outstanding and friendly service. Try the oysters and the cheese board!!
Zoubi never disappoints, from pre-dinner cocktails to desserts, the entire experience is delightful. Personable and professional bartenders at the cozy bar, waitstaff couldn't be more accomodating and the ambience is exceptional. The menu selections have something for every appetite, and the portions are perfect. Overall, a memorable night out!
We sat in the garden which was terrific on a perfect pre summer evening in New Hope. Great team effort by the staff; always attentive but not blatantly. Nice selection of cocktails, wines and all the traditional beverages along with a good menue
Delicious food. Wonderful
Service. The outdoor seating is beautiful
Food was good, but honestly not the best we've had. The greens in our salads were a little on the old side. Maybe acceptable at home, but not at an upscale restaurant. We found the ambiance lovely and romantic, and service was impeccable.
Two of us sat outside in the lovely courtyard. We each had soup and then split appetizers and salads. Every dish was delicious. My favorite was the baked oysters.
This place is a hidden gem in New Hope. It is quaint and private with just enough room to enjoy yourself and your company.. Wait staff was great and the food was fantastic.
We are waiting for our appetizers and meals to be packed up. We were seated 1 hour and 20 minutes ago. It took 25 minutes to get a bottle of wine. 45 to be served bread. 4 different waiters. If it’s warm out the only 2 places you should eat is at the bar (fans) or large table on the porch with ceiling fan. Everywhere else is stifling. It’s currently 79 degrees and 8:10pm. So disappointed as this is our anniversary. It’s a lovely setting.
Lovely and charming. Small but delicious menu. A total gem.
This is one of New Hope’s best warm-weather spots. The outdoor tables are in a courtyard away from the street. If you want quiet, you should opt for a table near the back, away from the bar and kitchen. The lights strung overhead, the plants, and the artfully mismatched furniture make for a fun setting. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, and the food preparation is always interesting, if a little pricey.
Lauren and his staff are incredible. Simply the best service. Makes everyone feel special.
Crab cake was so good
Baked oysters is using the wrong Parm cheese, too much oil/brown bite, go creamy with Romano
Very good food...service excellent...cozy seating in patio area...casual and friendly
Can’t believe we’ve never been here before. Loved everything. Excellent carrot-ginger soup, terrific short ribs and seafood stew. Loved it all.
It was fantastic
I took the woman that I want to marry to this. She’s never going to read this so I might as well be honest haha. We started off with the Tuna Poke and boy that was amazing! So tasty and fresh. She got a Rose Wine and I got the Passion Fruit Daiquiri. Let’s just Say three Daiquiris later we were laughing and crying about each other’s company. Dinner went amazing. I got the seafood stew which had muscles and clams and sausage in a Champaign broth with other herbs and veggies and she got the smoked salmon salad. Both of our foods were amazing I do not even regret coming here at all it was worth it. Ended our time with a French pressed coffee and a peanut butter cake. For myself I got a raspberry and pear pie. Everything was Devine and I will definitely come back again here.
This is the best restaurant in New Hope, and I've been coming here for years. The food is always amazing, the service is outstanding and the atmosphere is perfect.
The smoked salmon salad was to die for. The soup special was sweet potato and also very good. Entrees were passably good; beet pesto pasta was a lighter than expected dish. The lamb was good. Drinks were amazing. I would return for the salad and the drinks, honestly. Service was great.
The food and experience was wonderful as usual
The oysters never disappoint!
Small gem down alley behind Carla's.
Lovely garden. Rained. But no problem. Moved inside
It was just a really nice dining experience. Great service, the staff was super friendly and attentive. The garden dining area is so relaxing and pretty. We really enjoyed it and will be back in June.
We decided to try out Zoubi for our first anniversary. The GPS brings you to a different address but a call to the restaurant guided us to the right location. We were looking forward to the ambiance of the courtyard. Unfortunately the rain led us all inside. Once inside, we enjoyed admiring the decor. Unfortunately our table was in the corner and our server seemed a bit overwhelmed with the change-up of table numbers and scattered tables to take care of, and our main course was delayed for some time. However, the gentleman in charge checked on us, refilled my beverage and was able to ensure our meals came out shortly after. The butcher’s cut medium rare ribeye steak was cooked perfectly. The sesame crusted tuna with noodles and eggplant was flavored brilliantly. Our appetizer consisted of the baked oysters, and we could have easily ordered another round to share because they were so delicious. Despite our table snafu and delay in serving the main course, you can tell the staff at Zoubi works hard to ensure everyone is having excellent service and a memorable experience.
The appetizer called tomato carpaccio was very good, but have no idea why it's called carpaccio. Just seems a little pretentious. Served with buratta, it is very delicious. My halibut was bland and boring, the short ribs were ok, the lamb chops looked fatty -- served with smashed peas and mint (seems very trendy these days and not so appealing looking) and the beef rib was good but way too expensive. Dinner with two appetizers, 4 glasses of wine and 2 desserts (just mediocre) and coffee came to over 300.00. The coffee is served in a press that takes a long time to serve and is an unnecessary detail that is expensive I know it's New Hope, but seriously. The restaurant is in an old, interesting building; the bathroom (which is on the second floor up stairs with multiple landings) walls could be a museum piece and there is a bathtub there if you really need a good wash. Service seemed a little slow; not a great place.
Love this place. Food is fabulous and service is always stellar. Outdoor dining in a Charming Alcove like atmosphere.
The weather was favorable and we ate on the patio which was great. Our dishes were excellent tuna poke first course, braised spare ribs and home made pasta. The wine list was varied and reasonable in price. It was very busy on a Friday night and reservations are likely mandatory. If you are in New Hope check it out.
The bar service, drinks, and apps were exceptional. The main course and general wait staff were okay. The menu listed online was not the same as what’s served daily and was limited. I would go again but only for drinks and apps.
Met two other couples here... New Hope centrally located for all. The service was attentive yet not rushed, the food was very good. It was a chilly night and we were seated inside, though we have dined in the courtyard previously. Parking is always a challenge in the area, so be prepared to either hike or pay (or both), but the attentiveness, food quality, and understated elegance of the atmosphere will help you quickly overcome your annoyance at getting there. Our group had oyster and shrimp appetizers, crabcakes, pork chops, burgers and short ribs... all enjoyed!
One of the best kept secrets in New Hope!
The atmosphere and service was impeccable. If the weather is nice and you can get out for a lovely dinner, I'd urge you to escape to this charming oasis.
The outside dining will transport you to a small bistro in Europe
First time a Zoubi and we went for a special occasion. The food was outstanding! I had the braised short rib, my husband had the tuna. We also had the cheese board for an appetizer and the cheesecake and pecan tart were outstanding as well. It's a shame I live a little far, it would definitely be on my go to list.
Kudos to the chef and sommelier for an amazing meal from beginning to end! The oysters, crab cake , ahi tuna on Dona noodles and peanut butter decadence were all spot on. Great experience!
Simple put Zoubi was a great place. From the service to the food it was one of the best restaurants we've been to. Highly recommend Zoubi.
This is our second visit to Zoubi, our first was good ... this visit was fantastic.
First, this visit was on a Thursday night, so we had the restaurant to ourselves ... it was very quiet ... on weekends, the sound level is much louder. Our waiter, a french gentleman, was nothing less than perfect in all respects. He made the evening even better with his good humor and outstanding service. It's actually wonderful to watch a great server do his/her work ... he provided classy service all night with good chatter and very welcome silliness.
We had excellent manhattans to drink and the server recommended a very nice wine for my wife.
For appetizers, we had brussel sprouts and the apple salad. Both were fresh and wonderful ... I had the sprouts and they were fantastic ... the apple salad was quite special. For main courses, we had encrusted pork chops, sesame tuna and the barramundi. Our parents are quite picky and they loved their barramundi and pork chop ... they were wow'd by them actually. My wife had the sesame tuna and loved it. I had the pork chop as well ... it was encrusted with peppercorns and mustard seeds ... I was prepared for either or both to overpower the chop, but it was just a perfect compliment. When we finished our meal we asked the server to send our thanks to the chef ... she certainly deserved it because we had a wonderful meal.
We will return for a third time!
Really a great restaurant. Excellent food and great ambiance. Order the crab cake, it was prepared the traditional way with no fillers - so was gluten free!
The dinner was excellent, I had baked oysters and shrimp with a fresh and bright salad. One of my best meals in New Hope!
Great service and wonderful food- say no more!
Omg! I rarely take time to write reviews however in this case I just had to respond.
The food here was outrageous Not sure who their executive chef is but they are over achieving. My wife had their crab cake dish which we were told to go there just for that, I had the short rib. No exaggeration I never used a knife on that meat.
Go. You won't be disappointed
We were a party of six and had a great evening. Cocktails, food and service were exceptional. Great appetizers we shared (brussels sprouts with honey glaze, cheese board and a tuna poke which was the best most of us had ever had). Entrees were also exceptional - pork chop, crab cake, sesame tuna....couldn't ask for anything more from start to finish.
