Zoubi serves inventive American Cuisine in a casual al fresco setting. Dinner served five nights a week in season. Courtyard seating and open air bar.
Zoubi is a cozy French inspired restaurant. The food is outstanding. The servers are quite knowledgeable and truly want you to have an excellent dining experience. They have an extensive wine list to accommodate any tastes or pairings. Interesting cocktail menu. Not really sure the cocktails fit the theme of the restaurant, but they are well crafted. My only negative is how long it takes for dinner to be served. We had a 7pm reservation and did not get our entrees until close to 9pm. It may have been an off night, but still soured our experience a bit. I will say that our server/ matre d' tried to reconcile this negative as best he could. I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening. I do advise to book the 5pm seating instead of the busier 7pm time.
Zoubi was exactly what you want for a date night or dinner with friends where you want to converse. The atmosphere is intimate & romantic but not stiff. The service was truly stellar. I ordered soup and when it took a little long to come out, the owner brought us a 2nd round of drinks on the house as an apology. We hadn't even been upset about waiting on the soup. The food was really delicious, beautifully prepared and they even gave us complimentary house-made macarons with our check.
Welcoming & friendly- the service was excellent as was the cuisine. We will return.
Very Romantic setting - the service was great and the delicious!
My wife and I went for V Day and we really enjoyed it. The duck and grouper entrees were excellent! Great staff too. The Barretti’s
Excellent experience. Comfortable, casual and high quality dining.
The service was impressive - friendly and knowledgeable. The food was well prepared and delicious. I plan to return repeatedly.
Service and food was amazing! Butchers cut was to die for and also the short ribs. Atmosphere was great, service was great
The food at Zoubi's is always amazing and I love the ambiance as well. The restaurant is extremely charming and a great place to go for a wonderful dinner.
Very classy place, love the wine list and the food/service was impeccable
Lovely place to dine when in New Hope. I travel the world and eat out constantly it is very hard for me to give it five stars. The restaurant is lovely. The food is good but could be better with small enhancements to the menu. I always evaluate the meal based upon if I could duplicate it at home with a little effort. Unfortunately this could easily be done at home. Service was good but with very little enthusiasm from the wait staff. Not that it was bad service it was just dry. I would dine here again. But not before trying some of the other restaurants in town. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed and you just might have a better experience than myself.
Went on a slow winter night but had an enjoyable time, great food and nice service. Cozy and probably very nice in summer with outdoor seating. Would definitely return.
Great food , great staff
Love this spot! Super romantic and food is always delicious!
Nice place with charm, would like to try in the warmer weather. Wait staff was really good.
Food and service were fantastic. Wine selection is very good. Great value, cozy location and great ‘date night’ atmosphere. We’ll be back to Zoubi again. I look forward to trying their outdoor patio next summer.
Good, creative food. Flavorful but odd ingredients in specialty cocktails. Reasonably priced. Better in summer when courtyard dining is available. Not the same since ownership changed.
Birthday celebration for my wife
We enjoyed our pre-theatre dinner at Zoubi. We have dined here on the patio during the summer, which is really very nice, but inside is kitchy and cozy - love the artwork! Other than being ignored by the waitstaff for the first 10 minutes after our arrival, the service was good. Cocktails were yummy. I had a shrimp special with chorizo served over cheesy polenta - really good and not too spicy for my taste. We will likely return.
Great food. Great service. Will go back soon.
Zoubi was wonderful! The food (I had the salmon) was outstanding and the service was quick but not too intrusive. Wine selection was impressive considering the size of the restaurant and the actual atmosphere was adorable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be dining again in the future!
Small, intimate restaurant better suited for warm weather dining, as the kitchen is outside the main building and so the door is always open, causing the dining room to freeze. Food was very good but would rather have smaller prices and smaller portions.
Rainy Friday night dinner with friends of 30 years whom we hadn't seen for ages... Friendly and welcoming 'front of house' staff led us to a private alcove with windows overlooking the street (a quiet table had been requested, although the restaurant never became noisy). No one hurried us through our cocktails/wine/appetizers (don't miss the blood orange martini, BTW), or, for that matter, any part of our meal. Crab, short rib and lamb entrees were excellent, and the trout was spectacular! We finished our meal with French press coffee and shared a sweet Brazilian concoction of whipped cream and chocolate and a deeply flavorful pecan tart. 'Not a sour note the whole evening - We'll be back!!!
Consistently exceeds ever expectation of dining ! Atmosphere, fine cuisine ever visit, topped with a superb wine and drink selection. It is now and always will be our date night go to restaurant.
Nice decor inside & back yard
We found Zoubi by chance on Open Table. I'd never heard of it, even though I've lived in the area for while. We had a fantastic dinner with friends, who also had never heard of it (and we are all foodies). The staff was friendly and warm, and the food was outstanding. A little pricey, but not ridiculous, and worth it. The cocktails were generous.
Food was mediocre and flavorless. We were told was cannot just order appetizers and drinks, but the restaurant was nearly empty. Beautiful space, good for drinks.
Really good food. Ambiance was nice. Not overly loud. Enjoyable meal.
Excellent! Everything was fantastic with the exception of our waiter. He seemed annoyed... had “a way” about him. I’m still giving the restaurant 5 stars because I don’t feel the establishment should suffer for one person. The bartender was great and the cocktails were perfection. Our food was top notch. We had the tuna poke app, the pork tenderloin (special) and lamp chops. Beautiful presentation and nicely sized portions. A true hidden gem... will def be back in better weather to try outside dining. Treat yourself and try this place. If the waiter has an attitude just ignore him!
We went to Zoubi's for a friends birthday, this was everybody's first time and we were blown away. The ambiance is lovely, quaint and at the same time modern with plenty of seating. The menu is small, just perfect in terms of something for everyone but they do everything well. And the service we perfect. Highly recomment.
Met another couple for dinner on Saturday night. Zoubi was very busy but we were seated right away. Our server - Tom was great. The wine list is very interesting - it has maps to show what region the wine is from - be it from California, France, Italy or Spain, etc... Ordered drinks and perused the menu which was not extensive but varied enough.
I had the Pork Chop with Peach Compote which was cooked perfectly and delicious. Partner had the Short Ribs which were really good and had no fat on them at all. The room was attractive & interesting but loud. There was a loud group nearby. It was the first cool night of Fall so the outdoor area - which looked really neat was pretty empty. Overall I was very impressed and will return - the outdoor area must be really nice in warm weather.
We had an amazing experience here!
An overall excellent dining date with friends. Kudos for our window seating and to our waiter Bill Who is patient, explain the food very well and was very attentive.
what an amazing dinner meal and the staff was so wonderful too. Lobster tacos-delicious!!! and for dinner the seafood special....amazing! will be back for sure.
Absolute favorite restaurant in New Hope! The back patio feels like stepping into a small European town. Food is great, service and drinks are outstanding. You cannot go wrong!
We celebrated our 15-year anniversary with dinner here, and it was awesome. As someone who has celiac and is also highly allergic to gluten, I really appreciated how accommodating our waitress and the chef were. There are plenty of places that claim they have gluten free options, but that often equates to bland, flavorless food (i.e. salad without the dressing, or steak without the seasoning, etc.). The crab cake was incredible, and the chef made a special, gluten free corn and tomato sauce for me that was outstanding. The crab tacos were also a big hit. My only complaint is that they should label on the menu itself, what is and isn't gluten free, as well as what can be made gluten free upon request.
This is a special place. The ambiance is incredible. Sit outside. Service and food are great too.
We very much enjoyed our dinner at Zoubi. We had made a reservation and barely had to wait when we arrived. It was such a cozy secret garden feel yet busy and full of life. Exactly what we were looking for. The meals were delicious and the wine was perfect. The staff was very helpful and kind. We will defiantly be returning!
When you want to eat in New Hope and be transported to a garden and bistro in France before taking you seat - this is the place to go!!
