Drinks were delicious! As was the food!!! Overall, I loved it!!
I've been to Zona Rosa several times and it's been consistently delicious. I very much recommend the queso fundido, tacos and any of the mezcal margaritas.
We had brunch and it was so good!! We got margs and guacamole to start and honestly we could have stopped there because it was so good but we continued and had an amazing brunch. I got the huevos rancheros (sp?) and it was great! Would definitely recommend!!
Had delicious, beautifully presented tacos and drinks here. The restaurant was able to accommodate a large party for an early Saturday brunch. Everyone enjoyed the food and loved the greenhouse style ceiling above our table: it was really lovely to feel the sun on a late winter/early spring day.
great food, the drinks could be better. and would be nice to have a kids menu.
Food was good BUT, and this is a big but, they were relentless in getting us in and out.
It was not a dining experience. It was a fast food experience. We were in and out in 45 min. I don’t know about you but when I go out for dinner I do like my drinks, appetizer, main course and dessert to have some time in between. This was not the case here. They kept trying to pick up dishes that we were not even through with. The staff is practically running to and fro across the restaurant!
I might go back but I would wait until I was ready before ordering the next course. I would not order it at the beginning of the meal.
The tacos were great. The actual entrees need work. Chicken in Mole sauce was gross. So were the mixed drinks.
Came here for a last minute birthday dinner with about 15 people and had a wonderful time. Everything was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. Will be back in the summer for the rooftop!
Wonderful food, attentive friendly waitstaff. Enchiladas and Margaritas were delicious. Fresh tasty guacamole and chips. Fun decor. Will definitely return when visiting Williamsburg.
Food was amazing
food was good and service was cool, just wasn't too comfortable with the seating arrangements. Not only was our table exceptionally close to another table, but we were placed right by the bathroom which isn't too satisfying when you want to enjoy your meal.. But overall the food was good and service was nice and fast.
Great spot - would recommend if you're in the area!
Delicious carnitas and Carne asada tacos. Make sure to get the Queso fundido con chorizo!
Our server was really nice. Excellent food and drinks (watermelon margarita!). Thank you guys. :)
Went to Zona Rosa for a birthday celebration. The waiter was incredibly kind and the food and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. I plan on going back very soon.
Hands down the best Mexican I have had outside of Mexico. The mole was to die for the margarita’s were strong and the service was impeccable (shout out to Rob). Cannot recommend this place enough.
Great for groups
Middling generic Mexican and noisy. Awkwardly shaped tables and cramped space. Fine if you need a bite in the area but nothing to write home about.
Good Mexican and margs!
The food was good and the service was attentive, but they also literally rushed us out the door to make room for other people. We were lingering over our drinks and they had someone come over and talk to us. There were 2 other empty tables, so this seemed unnecessary.
The service was great and the fresh chips were a nice touch, but the margaritas were average and the food was average, too. In short, it's a fine choice if you are looking for something like this in the area, but it isn't worth traveling for -- the prices are close to what you'd pay in Manhattan for food and drinks that would be much, much better.
Everything was amazing! Food was delicious, as always!
It was such a great place to look at. The ambiance of this restaurant is super cozy and chill. It’s a fun place to go with family, friends or a date. The food was amazing. The drinks were okay, a tab bit strong for me. My overall experience was dope.
Wish drinks were a little bit more stronger but other then that everything was great.
One of my favorite Mexican place in the state of New York!!!
It was just a casual Saturday night until we stepped into this wonderful restaurant! We were a party of 4 and we all loved it!! Every single dish was surprisingly delicious. Speedy service , amazing ambiance and original Margaritassss!!!! Love it love it love it!!! Thank you!!!!
Adam is the person whomade this night go so well. Had made a reservation at Zona Rosa and it was an unusually warm night for October. It was perfect actually. We were seated on the rooftop, the last available. Adam was our server and immediately offered the special with Poblano peppers stuffed with meat and a cream sauce...see the pic posted. It was quite nice, that and watermelon margarita plus a Modelo Especially which came nice and chilled. The peppers also came with a side of rice. Adam was constantly checking on us, making great short conversation and was a pleasure to deal with. I originally had a 4 star rating, and I changed it to 5 star after his total service. Also ordered mango margarita and a shot of Casa Nobles Añejo Tequila . Did not realized the tequila came with fried grasshopper...yes this was the 1st time I had it and a bloody mart type chaser. Like I said it was a perfect night.
Went here for a birthday celebration. The food was a little overpriced but good, and the margaritas were tasty. The location is great--right by the Lorimer L stop and close to a bunch of bars.
My brunch would have been great if it weren't swimming in bean sauce. The non breakfast food looked much better, next time I will try that. The drinks were good but how come there was no boozy brunch option?
Perfect night out
As I walked in the host was ready to seat me (i had made reservations on open table) I requested seating with a view but was told we'd have to wait at least 20 mins for that. The food was good nothing to write home about. I had the tamale (pork) which was very good as well as the asada steak tacos. The other food i had which was the fish tacos and chicken mole was mediocre. I wouldn't recommend those. The waitress was not the best she never introduced her self but came to the table and said "drinks?" I was confused and thought that maybe she had the tables mixed up but nope she was actively trying to take our order. Then the waitress rubbed me the wrong way when we were leaving and I asked her to wrap everything. She did not include the chips and guac that was $10 and when I asked her about it she went back and forth with me to say that I didn't specify that i wanted the guac ... which was a little annoying and a bit unprofessional. Other than that this place is cool for quick drinks and appetizers I def wouldn't make it a date night place or go for anything special.
charge me wrong for drinks ( same drinks priced differently)... also the drinks weren't all that good for the prices..
Food was fantastic but the wait staff could use a little more training
Got seated quickly and we got to choose where we wanted to see. The Mexican food there tastes authentic and it is amazing.
Went here the other night for the first time with my husband. We were seated on the rooftop, which was so lovely. Prices were decent for Manhattan. Got our food surprisingly fast, but mine was barely warm. Suspicious. Left kind of a bad taste in my mouth (literally).
I asked for guac on my tacos and got charged $7 without being told.
The food was excellent. Drinks on the other hand.... just keep it simple.
I went here Saturday night, 7/16 The food was ok, drinks good. The problem was the waitress. She was drunk and rude. I paid by cc and she asked me did I have an issue and why didn't I leave her a tip. I politely stated her tip was left in cash on the table. After she looked and saw it she laughed it off. Very rude and unprofessional.
Repeatedly messed up on drink order but got it resolved
Excellent margaritas (many fruit flavours) served with terrific small plate food - had a great time there......
