Here’s the deal... I’m plant-based. Zola Bistro is a favorite place because they have a delicious wild rice vegan burger. I was so disappointed when we sat down to learn that they changed the menu and removed the only thing I eat there. They had a falafel burger, which I ordered, but it was awful. It was served on a thick, hard to eat bread, which I didn’t bother eating. I only picked at the falafel. And unlike the burger I like, this falafel thing did not come with fries. Another disappointment. No reason to return
As always Zola Bistro did not disappoint. The creative new menu was excellent. I’d recommend the Red Dragon cocktail and the cauliflower fritters. However the service was unusually slow for just ordering drinks and a few small plates. The drinks took really long. That being said, we love the place, and will be back
Loved the ambience and food at Zola Bistro. Ordered the waffles and the turkish eggs and both were delicious. Enjoyed a bellini and smoothie with it
The place was nearly empty, probably due to COVID. But maybe because other people have had not such experiences, like me for the last 3 visits. Food is ok for being original, there hasn't been an update to the menu for a while. It takes a while to place the food and drink order. The food and drinks take too long to get. This time, my omelet was cold when it was brought to me. I had to ask for the toast to be brought. It was brought, but it arrived after I finished my omelet, and was also cold. It didn't even melt the butter. I will find another place to have lunch with friends.
This was my first time going to a restaurant since the beginning of March when Covid shut everything down. They had very good safety precautions-masks, spacing of tables, and doors and windows open. Our server was pleasant and helpful, the food was delicious, and it was so great to eat out after 6 months!
Great food, clean and responsible staff!
Outstanding food and service!
Great outdoor option. Consistent food. Great service at this location.
We love this place
Horrible, Horrible, horrible. Hostess was super rude and our server wasn't the greatest. We had to keep asking for water and he forgot our coffee more than once. My husband's farm house omelet was absolutely disgusting. It looked like they took the eggs, and folded it over some deli ham and peppers. My frittata looked like something I could of made at home. Both were greasy and had nooooo flavor. The only plus was the coffee, bread, and my side of sausage. Wayyyyy to over priced for what we got. 🤦♀️
Lovely dinner outdoors.
Safe and wonderful experience
OK food. Very little atmosphere mostly die to COVID restrictions.
We ate here as a family the night before moving our daughter into her freshman dorm, and I'm so happy that it was as special a meal as we hoped it would be. We reserved on OpenTable but they didn't seem to have a record of us when we arrived. We were hoping to sit outside but we felt comfortable inside since ceilings are high and doors were open, plenty of airflow. Our meals were DELICIOUS and it's really tough to find places where all four of us love what we order but we definitely did here.
I look forward to dining here again on future visits.
There were not many tables the night we were there for dinner. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. Drinks arrived. Then ordered dinner. Took 30 mins for food, which would have been ok, but appetite never arrived.
It sure we will return with the Pandemic .
Others do service much better.
The food was average american new. The pricing was much higher. It was about as busy as you’d expect at 2pm—maybe 5 other tables. The service speed was as if there were 15-20 tables. I liked the fish tacos and would like to order them again for carryout. I would not dine in there again.
The outdoor patio seating was great. The staff followed sanitary, social distancing guidelines to the T. We felt very safe eating at Zola Bistro. The food was delicious as always!
Love this place but on my recent experience, service was awful to non existent. The gal that waited on our table had a serious attitude issue. Took 45 minutes to get a calamari appetizer. They weren't over worked as the restaurant was just about empty. I hope things improve . Food quality was good
Everything was great, but it did take about 15-20 minutes to even be acknowledged before being sat
Quite disappointing. It was the first time since the restaurants opened that we went for brunch. Some of the food was fine, but other parts were not good. This included their bread, which was so drive it was barely edible. The wait staff were very nice. However, one staff had a whole section of the outdoors. It took forever to get our bill. It will be a while Before we go back.
Good food but super expensive and I can’t justify an omelette for $20. It’s a nice place for special occasion but not for your every week lunch date
Simply the Best! Love Sunday mornings at Zola!
Food was fantastic as always! Great service!
Zola is always a great experience.
Food was good. Server polite but not very knowledgeable so she had to go ask someone to answer questions.
Pricey for a place like this. Very sparce and “ hard” inside.... not a comfy place to hang out. Confusion on the salmon burger; she asked how we wanted it cooked, I said “ grilled”, and then the bill showed the sandwich at $32, for having it grilled! How else would you cook a salmon burger? We disputed it and the price was lowered to the menu price. $15 less. I still don’t understand but they made it right. Prob won’t go back.
Slowly opening up after lock down due to covid & wanted to go out for dinner. It was a great experience. Not many people out on a Tuesday night, which is great during the covid era. Food, service, & ambiance was lovely.
We have been regulars at Cafe Zola and Zola Bistro since moving back to the area approximately 3 years ago. We love the food and ambience, but the service is hit or miss and it’s one of the most expensive brunch venues in the area and, what’s worse, they constantly increase their prices.
We were only people there most of time. Food better than expected. Wine list marginal- not one French Chardonnay at French restaurant? Dates/vintage on wine list incorrect. We would try again, especially if wine list were upgraded
The food is so good! Wait staff is professional and atmosphere is chill.
Once again, good service, drink and food. Place was almost empty, which made it quiet, for once. It4's my favorite restaurant in AA.
Visited for my mom's birthday. The ambiance is great and the menu has a lot of options. Overall a bit pricey for the serving size/drink size. Drinks were great but small. Zola's Crab Cake Benedict - delicious but not too filling. Ended up getting to the restaurant 1 hour earlier than our initial reservation. The hostess was super sweet and got us seated right away. Also the waitress gave us a free dessert since it was my mom's birthday. Nutella Banana Crepe - absolutely the best crepe I've had in years. Definitely a crowd favorite. A great place to splurge and update your brunch pic on insta.
Food was quick, coffee was kept full, wasn't too loud to have a conversation. Waitress and Hostess were both really friendly.
The food was good but extremely expensive. The service was not great although the place was pretty empty on Tuesday evening.
Overall, it’s a nice place with delicious food.
The brunch offerings were delicious and our server, Savannah, was calm, helpful, and very pleasant.
Great as always.
Zola Bistro is one of our family's favorite places for celebrations. We love celebrating birthday brunches there. Great service ... and dishes I couldn't duplicate!
Best brunch for game day!!
Server was not available on the floor even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Took a long time to get our beverages
Slow for cocktails
Calamari good but portion was minute
