The food was good but we were the only people in there on a Saturday night. I think they do more take-out business. They were very nice and I hope they stay in buisness.
Everything that my party of 4 ate was devine. It's also BYOB! The price points are very reasonable. You will be hard pressed to find better sushi and appetizers.
The sushi was excellent!!! The pricing is affordable and the menu has a large variety of options.
At best -mediocre sushi. Poor service. Mediocre atmosphere.
Very small and dark and dirty. Food was ok but nothing special here. Too many good sushi places in city to ever find myself going here again.
There are too many great things to say about this restaurant and its' staff! I have been here on a few occasions, but the most memorable was a few weeks ago for my best friend's birthday. Kathy was so helpful in pre-planning a menu for the party to avoid the craziness of eating with a large group and figuring out how to split the bill at the end of the night. She even surprised us with decorations and a cake for the bday girl!! The food is to die for; every single item we ordered was amazing!! They went above and beyond on every detail of the night and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know! To some it may be a hike to get there, but it is worth it for the service, price and delicious sushi!!

Cute restaurant with brown rice options for most of their dishes. Mongolian Beef was heavenly spicy and I will def. be coming back again
This is the first time we had only the Thai entree's. It was wonderful! Really good food, Prepared fresh and hot per order.
I loved the atmosphere, and the waitress was really nice. However, the food wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Also they gave VERY small portions of food. Other than the food not being "all of that", everything else was fine.

Zoku is a very small hidden treasure in Chicago. They have a fairly extensive sushi menu. I was pleasantly surprised when or plates came. My husband had a cooked noodle plate that was so incredibly beautiful we didn't want to disturb it. And the taste was as good as it looked. My sushi plate came out with the most fantastic looking and tasting sushi I've ever had. Back home we've frequented upscale sushi and sashimi restaurants. But truthfully, with their over priced plates, they had nothing on Zoku. Zoku put them to shame with their incredibly beautiful, delicious, moderately priced menu. Seems to be sort of a mom and pop type of place. So the staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating, even with our 2 year old.
This is mine and my friends new lady night sushi get together spot!! We love that its BYOB and the makis are delicious. We love this places and always go back for more!! Great place for friends or a romantic dinner with your special someone.
This small neighborhood place is a great find. The food and service is excellent. Fresh and served beautifully.

This is a nice little place tucked away in the hood. Nothing particularly blow me away but the food was good and reasonably priced. The vibe is good and the staff friendly. You can't ask for much more than that!
All of the food was very fresh and delicious. The staff were very nice. It's across the street from the Gallery Provocateur
Parking was hard to find and the area its in doesn't feel safe. The food was good, we were the ONLY people in there on a Friday night, so it was quiet and we had a good time. its BYOB, which is nice, and its not too expensive.
We enjoyed sushi in the former "treat" space at kedzie & north avenue. Our meal was "enjoyable" but found it was not as thrilling as we'd hope. Alas, our veggie and shrimp tempura appetizer was really pedestrian with thick batter and rather overcooked veggies and, not all that hot temperature wise. how does that happen? our maki rolls and a red curry were both lovely but, again, nothing special. too bad because the artwork is really terrific and the staff is lovely. maybe an off night?
A great time, no corkage fees, love the vibrant artwork and will be back.

They need music though, there was no music and only 3 couples in the restaurant on a Friday night so you could hear a pin drop.
Don't let looks fool you on this is a great find. Prices are very reasonable.
Granted it was hot outside but inside the restaurant it was suffocatingly hot without even ventilation. The service was poor even though the staff was milling around. This is because food prep was slow, staff was chatting with friends who dropped in, and there was no mangement. We weren't even offered a water refill. The rice was mushy.
