The quality of the food on the buffet was reminiscent of a Luby’s cafeteria. While there is something said for nostalgia, it is never a good thing when the food looks as old as the memories. In this case, a few really good menu items would be better than many average to below average options. Considering the creative talent at NM headquarters, I recommend the Zodiac interiors (walls, lighting, table settings) be updated with hints of the exceptional fashion and art you can find in the store.

We are so glad that we got to go to The Zodiac one last time before their closure! We visit Downtown Dallas every year to visit Santa at Neiman Marcus since my oldest was a baby. He is now 10 and we will have to find a new place to go visit Santa and take pictures to continue our families Christmas tradition. So sad Neiman’s Downtown is closing. It has been a Dallas icon forever.

The Zodiac Room never disappoints and yesterday was EXCEPTIONAL! From the moment arrived, to seating, the food, the staff, ALL OF IT!! It was special for me to be there to soak in the memories and as always you get to enjoy your meal, never hurried and leave with having had a wonderful dining experience. Will miss the restaurant with all the great people that’s for sure! Thank you NM~🦋

I was glad I was able to get a reservation at the Zodiac room before it closed. They had a buffet with many good choices. It was all delicious and filling. Worth the price. The hostesses and waiter were friendly.
