Good location under the Westin on the Riverwalk. We had pizza and salad - no complaints. Orlando our server was great. Would return
We took our kids and they ate at a kids pace but by the time they were tired of sitting there we still didn’t have our food. Then when I was able to eat my meal the food was terrible. Definitely not what I expected
Took my wife to this restaurant to celebrate her birthday. Made reservation online for two. Upon arriving, we were seated outside by the Riverwalk. This restaurant was the perfect spot to unwind and spend a special occasion with my wife. Enjoyed a glass of Malbec wine. My wife ordered the Boneless Short Rib melted sweet potatoes, cipollini onions, romanesco, cauliflower, green beans and I ordered the Brick Oven Chicken white beans, kale, mushrooms, seasonal vegetables, pan jus. Both dinner plates were delicious. The short ribs were so tender and the meat just melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend these entrees. Wife was given a complimentary cheesecake dessert that was divine. Compliments to the Chef. Definitely would go back for the the delicious food and the ambiance.
Scheduling our table for two was very easy with the OpenTable App!
We had a great time on our 20th Wedding Anniversary! The Service and food were fantastic! We were seated near the entrance and bar and much of the socializing made for a higher than anticipated noise volume. Portions are large. Plan to bring home leftovers if you do not share.
We are looking forward to returning, soon!
quiet inside, but laughing outside
My husband and I loved the food here. I highly recommend the Caeser salad! We got fresh bread at our table and even though we were sitting outside away from everyone, we still got excellent service! We will definitely be going back!
Our waiter and meals were excellent, though being seated was a bit fragmented.
Ambience isn’t great, it’s a big restaurant that was only half full. So it was a fairly echoey, and the lighting is pretty intense.
Very Good Italian cuisine. Enjoyed the appetizers, main entree and the dessert. Foodies will enjoy.
Great service and food
It was an average meal, service was good and prompt....food was ok.....warm but not hot....very pleasant people at the front of the house and wait staff did good......
The food was really good! The only weird thing was the bread.
Was there for Valentine’s Day dinner . Ambiance not so good for a quiet evening meal or date night. Pricey, limited menu but food is good.
Enjoyed the location on the river walk.
The Italian food--caprese salad, meatball fritters, and tagiatelle with bolognese sauce, followed by an interesting and pretty much indescribable dessert--was delicious. It was a quiet Sunday evening, so the room was quiet, and that was nice. But the best part was our server, who was friendly, very knowledgeable about the food and wine, and a real addition to the evening.
Our server was amazing! Great food with a gluten-free menu! And our server even brought special gluten free bread. Highly recommend for a late night girl friend date!
The pasta was very good. Overall, it was an above average meal.
Very nice restaurant with excellent food. On the Riverwalk, but a wall obstructs views from the indoor seating area.
It was a nice dinner but it took forever for anyone to wait on us. Once they started the night was great.
Amazing service by the waiter i wish i could remember his name to give him the credit! Dinner was great and turned out to be a great anniversary dinner for me and my husband thanks to the help of our waiter since it was our first time there. Overall great experience!
Food was great but the service was incredible. They surprised my mom with a dessert for her birthday!
Very mediocre food, bitter olive oil for bread dipping. Expensive.
Date night with wife on riverwalk and celebration of new job here. Food was amazing. Hostess that sat us was friendly and engaging. Waiter, Orlando, was super - great dining experience!
Amazing service. Amazing food. Amazing setting. So happy we found this place.
The food and service was excellent. Very nice Italian restaurant right on the River Walk.
Took my girlfriend here and absolutely loved it! I have crohn's disease and cant tolerate any bit of gluten. I'm usually in pain within hours if I have anything with wheat, but they made accommodations for me. We both ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and didn't have mistakes on the order. They use a different shape and type of noodle for those that cant process wheat.
Overall, the atmosphere was a little more upscale than average places, the food was delicious and came in large portions, and the waiter/hostess were very polite. It was a little noisy, but nothing that wasn't tolerable after the crowd left. Definitely a nice place to go to if you have gluten intolerance and want a safe place to go out to eat!
Wonderful spot on the Riverwalk. The food and service were great.
Not a best experience. Food was too salty. Ordered rack of lamb and asked for the medium rare they made it medium well.. my wife's red snapper was overcooked. Extremely dry ..
Waiter was very helpful . Overall not a best experience..
We had breakfast around 10:00 a.m. They have a buffet that looked very good but we ordered off the menu and it was very good. Friendly and efficient service and good food at a good price!
Stayed in San Antonio for 4 nights . This was the best place to eat that we visited and would highly recommend .
They had my table ready right away. The service was outstanding & the food was delicious!
Very flavorful, didn't expect that. Not just a river walk touristy place.
The food and the service was fantastic. I have Celiac disease and was able to safely eat here. Thank you!
Food was just marginal for the price - we started with a caesar salad and caprese salad. Caesar dressing was bland and lack flavor. Pasta was ok but nothing to bring me back here - could have stayed in our room and had a burger from room service and had a better meal. Service was good, when you saw the waiter - it wasnt that busy. As soon as we ordered, our waiter said he had to leave due to a family emergency and we had a replacement, saw him even less than original waiter. They really need to up their game if they want my dinner dining dollar again.
Looking for something close to the San Antonio Convention Center? This is an excellent choice. The restaurant is along the Riverwalk but it's on a branch that is more subdued and quieter. Perfect for a less raucous meal. Oh, and yes the food was excellent.
Food was low on flavor. Server actively steered me away from one menu item I was planning on ordering. We saw two cockroaches.
Took my dad for Father's Day. It was fabulous. We each had a pasta dish for lunch. His pappardelle with fresh lump crab meat was heaven. It had a hint of citrus and the asparagus shavings really worked with the flavors. My spaghetti with a jumbo meatball was wonderful. The meatball was juicy and flavorful and was not tough or dense. The sauce came with a small scoop of lemon herb ricotta which really balanced out the flavors of the sauce and the meatball. For dessert we had the pistachio and orange cream cannolis. They came on a tile with chocolate writing wishing my dad a happy Father's Day. The detail to which this restaurant goes to please its customers is just so nice. I would recommend to anyone to come and try their authentic Italian cuisine.
Nice meal; view of Riverwalk but with some separation from all the traffic; very sweet to my kiddo as it was her birthday... good options for kids meals. Most of us really enjoyed our meals. Would be nice to have a happy hour drink special, or some less expensive beverage options... but all in all, nice experience.
After the great reviews I was looking forward to eating here. It was disappointing. It was loud, even though we asked for a quiet place, the food was average but with above average costs. The gluten free options are not what I expected. They did take great care to ensure I didn't eat anything that I was sensitive to( dairy, gluten)
Food was good. Service was attentive. I've had meals that were as good or better for less, but on the San Antonio Riverwalk, you pay a premium for the location.
We visited for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter (wish I remembered his name to give him the credit) was wonderful in every way you want a waiter to be. We split the ceaser salad, the calamari and the fettuccine; all were great. Would definitely recommend, and return when in San Antonio again.
Delicious food! The location is perfect with waterfront seating and the service was great.
