Nice quiet lunch with friends.
Lovely sunny position.
Good value for money.
All went smoothly this time in HH Zizzis - food was good, service also good, it was a bit noisy but it was a Saturday night near Christmas so...
We'll go again for sure!
Excellent evening. Food was delicious
Would definitely recommend
Zizzi’s was not busy on Saturday night but the service was slightly erratic. The fridge had broken so no cold drinks and the coffee grinder had also broken so no ground coffee only instant. The food however was very good.
The food was delicious and very good range on the menu. The service was very good a d we did not have to wait to long.
Overall good tho we were forced to have mother's day menu, which made it quite expensive and more food than would have probably ever ordered. The Calamari on the starter was freezing cold. Staff were friendly if a little flustered given how busy the restaurant was. I like this restaurant and have visited a few times and would definitely return.
Love this place. Loud, bustling with great food and great service.
Booked on line in the morning for a 12.45 lunch table. Arrived and they had no record of the booking. A bit embarrassing, and no explanation. Fortunately I had a copy of the booking confirmation on my phone.
The service was brilliant and the food came quickly, which was brilliant considering I had a 1 and a 3 year old with me!
I love this restaurant. The food is always cooked perfectly and there’s so much on the menu which appeals that making the choice is always tricky. It can be pricey if there isn’t an offer on, but there usually is.
Great food. Service was disinterested. I asked if we had time for a starter because as we were in a rush, waitress said not and that we would have to wait for the large table to be served first anyway. Asked which wine would she recommend - completely disinterested, ‘it depends what you want’. I don’t expect people to fawn over me but to appear as if you wanted to converse always helps.
Service was pretty good - waiter was great. Food tasted good but unfortunately our pizzas were barely warm so we only paid for one. Dessert was delicious!
I've eaten at Zizzi's lots of times, always for a friends get together, as its central for a group of us who live a distance apart. Its friendly and a nice place to meet, however, the acoustics are quite echoey so its always quite noisy so smaller groups make it easier to hear each other. Really nice food with a good variety of choices and now you can get your hot drink after your meal 'pimped up' which is great if you are not a lover of dessert but want a sweet bite anyway. Will visit again.
Very slow service
Online booking failed to reach the restaurant despite me having received a confirmation email. Waiter then failed to bring our starters. Staff only realised when they tried to deliver the main courses. Suspect the main courses were then kept hot while they cooked and we ate our very delayed starters.
Sadly this was for a family celebration so we're left feeling very disappointed.
Great food and service as always at Zizzi! Never disappointed!
Great food and service. Would definitely go back soon!
Went for a lunch with a friend last week and the place was relatively empty (a Thursday lunchtime) and yet service was slow and sporadic. Vege options extremely limited and the salad with butternut squash was really disappointing - very small and no flavour, much texture or variety in it. A couple of dough ball things stuck on the side in case you were still hungry as the salad was no where near a full plate. The coffee was particularly bitter too. Really glad to leave.
Greeting friendly and taken to table with menus and initial drinks. After that service was slow and not attentive. Staff spent lots of time chatting to friends on some table and neglected other diners. Starter was a disappointment, Bruschetta which was thrown together, minute bread and tomatoes not cut and it was cold. Waited a very lng time for main course, then dessert was okay. Not as good as previous visits which was under different management.
Good pasta dishes - especially the carbonara, but the seafood kebab was bland and had to be sent back the first time as it was not cooked. The kids always enjoy it here and the kids' menu is great value.
The service was polite and friendly and the food was good but unfortunately all the hot food, with the exception of the pasta, was served on cold plates so unfortunately the food was cold. The wild boar ragu was very nice but somewhat light on the wild boar!
Where we tend to go for a good value spur of the moment meal or to meet with friends. It is dependable and has pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. Basic stuff with wine that can sometimes be a little disappointing (by the glass).
Especially with 30% discount! The kids' menu is always a hit - very nice sorbet and the right portion size for my 5 year old. Tasty pizzas and pasta and lovely staff.
I booked a table with you with confirmation, on arrival no table was available, and door staff were very unhelpful and turned as away, despite me showing him my confirmation email. will not eat your restaurants again,
First time to the restaurant and I couldn't find fault in anything.
However I booked through toptable and when we arrived they had no record of the booking!
zizzi's was extremely busy but they managed to accommodate us swiftly.
Will definitely return.
Good value pizzas. Rather noisy though - hadn't realised it was a jazz night and therefore couldn't really hear each other.
The food, service and overall experience of dining at Zizzi's, Loughton was very enjoyable. The food was excellent, our waitress was very friendly and efficient and I would definitely recommend it.
Good food. Our waiter was excellent. Just right for teenagers birthday lunch.
As always a fabulous atmosphere at Zizzi in Loughton. The new menu is fabulous, and all our meals were delicious.
Staff are excellent - we had a great evening. Thanks!
Usual quality fair - great pizzas and childs menu for the little one at reasonable prices (and we only paid £12.95 for two main courses.
Zizzi was very pleasant - nice wine and food and reasonable prices.
We went to Zizi Haywards Heath for lunch as a group of 9. Unfortunately they were short staffed (which we have experienced before) and so service was slow. However the guys serving worked really hard to ensure the experience was okay. Food was good, starter was calamari - the batter was a little soggy though, pasta was excellent.
Their food is really good, their service is friendly although young girls got a bit more attention (and pizza cutter) than us, a couple:)
I would go back any time.
Great Pizza, not much else.
I visited Zizzis in Haywards Heath on a saturday lunch time. It was a very enjoyable experience. The service was prompt and friendly
Zizzi - Loughton Hi we went to the restaurant this Saturday 8th Oct. Had a very nice meal and the service was friendly and prompt. It is quite a noisy restaurant but very nice.
Fabulous atmosphere at this busy restaurant. Staff, as always, were great fun, knowlegable about the menu & wines, and very attentive.
Great food, and a great night out!
Loughton Zizzi's - Waited a while for food but was great when it arrived!
The staff at Zizzis could not have been more helpful, especially Scott who served us at the Loughton branch. The surroundings are attractive and the atmosphere is relaxedThe food we ordered was served quickly and was delicious. we were really pleased with toe food, service and ambience of the restaurant.
I took my two daughters and two grandchildren (one an infant) to Zizzi's in Loughton for dinner on Sunday evening. I emailed Toptable for my booking and we arrived about 20 minutes later and were greeted by name and had a lovely meal with 25% savings on the bill. I have told others about Toptable!
