About
Usual offering from Zizzi - a chain restaurant.
Visited lunchtime, very quiet
Really great service on the night from Patrik. Very attentive.
Had a lovely lunch and enjoying the food a d excellent service - recommended.
Friendly service and reasonable value for a week day meal
thoroughly enjoyable lunch with friends, midweek and restaurant was very quiet
Table was dirty, service was slow, somecwrong food items delivered.
Great hospitality with delicious food!
Booked through Bookatable for Mother's Day at 5PM for 9 people. All went through ok and received the email confirmation. A few hours later I received a voicemail saying they couldn't fit us in until 7:30PM!
I like the restaurant and the service and go there fairly regularly but obviously not impresssed with this!
Manager must have taken too many bookings for Mother's day, waited 1/2 hour for drinks, over an hour later we got our mains, most of order wrong, some cold. waiter & waitress worked very hard trying to chase our orders but were ignored by bar staff, kitchen staff and manager. Nearly all desserts were sold out so decided not to stay any longer. Manager finally came to see us and didnt really have much of an explanation and didnt really offer any compensation, it was only when we mentioned everything that had happened he offered to take drinks off bill. Obviously management needs to be rethought.
on arrival our table booking was missing, so no table had been reserved for us. food came too quickly. main meal arrived while still eating our starter. it had to be returned. meal felt hurried therefore. staff very attentive but we were not allocated one waiter/ess for the evening, so didn't know who to ask for when ordering additional drinks or the bill.
Great food, service and lovely restaurant. We had a great evening
Good reliable Italian. I like the skewers. The honey, sea salt and mascarpone ice dream could have done with a little more salt, though.
Never a disappointment, although I wouldn't choose the pulled pork pizza again as it was too sweet for me .
Had dinner with the kids. Nothing to reproach - tasty food, good service.
The food is always of a good quality but seated by the back door, the smell from the smokers came in to us. When busy it is too loud to have a conversation and the service was very slow - taking nearly 40 mins before our starters even came. On a more quiet day I am sure it would be perfect.
I've eaten in Zizi's lots of times and have never had a meal like this. I had a pasta which was served luke warm and the sauce just tasted like a can of chicken soup! My partner had a salad and the leaves we're old and past there best. although the waiter did take the cost of the salad off the bill, I still feel it was a waste of money paying for everything else and spoilt our evening. Such a shame!
My family and I have visited several Zizzi's and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately our experience in Chislehurst was hugely disappointing. My son's bolognese was like water. I sent it back but the replacement was almost as bad. My other son's pizza had only 3 little slices of pepperoni on it. My risotto, which I have had on numerous other occasions, was bland and looked like it had been microwaved.
There was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant.
I have been to Zizzi - most often the Chislehurst branch - for a number of years. It never fails to deliver. This time, the restaurant was busy, buzzing and full. Yet we were served promptly, the food was great and we had a great time. I will be back again. And again...
So the restaurant was modern, wait staff were good but busy.Food was great. Unfortunately there was a party at the back of the restaurant and a table of 10 sitting right next to us and the noise levels were untolerable. It was a catch up meal with my friend and we were practically shouting
Good choices, attentive staff and food was good too. Only comment is that the skinny pizza had a cold topping which wasn't expected and should state in the menu.
food was excalent , staff were very friendly, only complaint i have was service was to slow, needs to be improved. everything else was very good indeed, would use zizzi agin and recommend it.
We had a very attentive waiter at the start of our meal. My friend and I both ordered pizzas and they were good. We ordered ice cream and as soon as it was delivered we were asked if we would like coffee as the coffee machine was being switched off. It was only 9. 30! We paid our bill and by the time we were ready to leave all other customers had left and so had the staff. We let ourselves out.
Zizzi's in Chislehurst is a friendly restaurant where you are able to get pizzas to suit all tastes. The new menu is an improvement on the last. Good value when using the vouchers that are available.
All good. food was good so was service. Nice place to eat and will probably go again!
Decided to go to Zizzi's in Chislehurst after a long day at work for my husband. A nice relaxing evening with good service.
Not great - no special decoration for Valentines Day & service quite poor
Good food, good service, wasn't rushed in any way - shame the discount vouchers are not applicable on a Saturday but other than that will always go back!
not busy on a sunday night at Chislehurst Zizzi, still the service not very attentive.. food as usual, kids like it
Good food as always... Pleasant service too. Zizzi is always consistent!
Good service good food and pleasant atmosphere value for money.
A pleasant meal at Zizzi's Chislehurst, though the waiter was something of a stage Italian.
Four of us went for the £19.95 three course menu at Zizzis which included a glass of prosecco and a lemoncello. You need to be very hungry as there was there was a lot of food: large portions of starters to share - cold meats, calamari, fried rice balls and garlic bread slices and then we chose rusticana pizzas which were huge. Delicious but we could not eat it all. Good deserts too. Only problem was that the place was very noisy with large groups so not a relaxing evening.
Another meal at this child friendly Zizzi in Chislehurst. Simple dishes but fresh and tasty, antipasti, pizza and pasta alike.
Good service and good food.
Great food child friendly and an excellent price. Service could have been better however staff were very polite and helpful which made for a very enjoyable evening.
Defo one of the best Zizzi's around
Met a friend at Zizzi in Chislehurst, perfect place to catch up over good food and great service. Nice atmosphere too.
Good value for money with the current deals.
Great value for money using a Zizzi voucher offer. Starters were good, particularly calamari, but mains of pizza (Contadina calz' pizza well worth a try)and risotto were even better. Only downside was being given a table by kichen door, despite restaurant only be half full.
Zizzi is a well-placed restuarant in Chislehurst High Street, offering a range of Italian-styled food and drinks.
