Zinqué - West Hollywood
Broccoli, Spinach and Green Curry Soup
Chimichurri Or Peppercorn Sauce
Wild Mushrooms, Gruyère, Herbs
Great ambience, amazing atmosphere, friendly staff. The perfect wine bar for an afternoon date.
Waiter could come every 30 minutes and food also took 30 minutes to arrive
Food is very average . Little disappointed. It wasn’t bad but nothing to remember . People were lovely .
Our server was super sweet! I think his name was Alex. I got Le Bowl with grilled salmon and it was delicious! Definitely going back!
The host was pretty rude. We asked to sit inside and said we were happy to wait and he was pretty snotty about it.
Maybe he should consider working with the public.
He doesn’t seem to like to engage with them. I love Zinque but with many places to dine in the neighborhood may consider elsewhere.
It was great!
Great food and vibes
So cute. Lovely place for a casual dinner with my friend. Loved the prawn tacos!
Food was not good but ambience was great
Food was very good. We had the mushroom flatbread and the curry soup for starters, both of which were delicious! The soup had a really unique flavor. For the entrees, we had the branzino which is the entire fish and very large, as well as the steak with chimmichurri sauce. I asked for the steak medium rare, and they actually did that. Most placdes over cook meat. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious.
The service was a little slow, but I always give grace to restaurants at this time due to trying to get back to normal after Covid. But it was a little odd. We ordered our appetizers and even after they were served, they still didn't come back to take our orders for our entrees for over 30 minutes.
But all in all, it was a good experience and the servers are very friendly.
Been wanting to try this place and it really wasn’t worth the wait. Food was incredibly mediocre and not worth the price.
The orange wine margaritas were FIRE
In a tent on melrose
Always love the food and the service is fantastic. It’s a fabulous crowd and I always enjoy dining there!
great food, great service - always a positive experience
This is my third times being here and the atmosphere is still the same... Great! Love the food and the customer service.
My husband and I went to dinner with another couple for a relaxing time after a difficult week. Heard great things about the place. When our friends got there (on time) for our reservation, they told the host that we were running 3 minutes late (we literally were 3 min late). They were told: we will do our best to keep your table. Wasn’t there a 15 minute grace period for reservations?! This is casual dining - guests should not feel pressure to lose tables if poeple are 3-4 min late. In any case, service was nice (appreciated the opportunity to taste some wines before ordering). Food was decent (my friend and I loved the mussels, my husband did not love the burger). The ahi tartare appetizer should have been called grapefruit tartare because there were mostly grapefruit pieces with a bit of tuna (couldn’t taste the tuna at all). At the end the server told us the next guests are there and we need to leave (yes, we stayed half hour over the 1.5 hrs expected time, but we also paid over $350 so trying to unwind and laugh for a longer dinner should not be so strict). In any case, OK place, but not likely to go again very soon, or at least for dinner.
Delicious food and excellent service. Music was good too.
Yum yum yum. Everything was so fresh and our Server was amazing. The happy hour is a great deal!
What a great place to celebrate her birthday. Plenty to choose from on the menu for any type palate and reasonable prices. I had forgotten about Zinque and now that it’s back on my radar I know I’ll be back soon.
Great food, service and ambiance
Dining near the cars on the road is terrible.
Horrible. The hostess was Extremely RUDE. I think her name was Esmerelda ( not 100% sure ). Sat us in the street and would not allow us towards the patio portion even though we had a reservation. Tried to complain to the manager but the hostess said she didn’t really care. They are lucky to even have business and No Right to treat customers this way. Big Complaint - please pass along. Will. Also be giving a bad Yelp review which I have never done before. Unacceptable!!!
It was too windy to even enjoy the meal.
Hostess was brusque (at best). Food was fine but massively overpriced for what it was. Staff were moving extra heat lamps out of the restaurant, though I asked for an extra one to be brought to our table. Maybe they are better not on Valentine's Day but I was not impressed.
Thank goodness for outdoor dining! This place was perfect for V-Day. Loved the fixed price menu and the very impressive wine list. The outside seating area was quite large and we were very comfortable. Romantic and special. We will dine here again 😎
Had a delicious 3 course meal
Food was a tad bit cold but overall really good!
It was nice to have a meal out. Lovely evening just a bit difficult to tell who worked there. No uniform or name tags.
Great appetizers! Do not recommend the "Le Bowl."
The host was extremely rude right from the start! I let it go and sat our table on the street under a tent next to concrete barriers. The level of noise due to the cars driving , since we we on the street as well, was very high plus the side of the tent would keep flowing back and forth every time a car would drive by. I went up to the host and explained the situation and kindly asked to be moved to another table. He said he will check and let me know. Meanwhile there were a few tables, before we sat down and after we sat down, that were still available. He came back and with an attitude saying there are no tables available and this is it! You have to sit here! To which I said thank you and we all got up and left the restaurant.
So, to the host that night, drop your attitude otherwise find another job where you don’t need to talk to customers because you CLEARLY suck at it!
Worst service ever. Cold outside and half their heaters were not operating. Refused to move us to another table even though I had made a reservation in advance. Half of their menu was unavailable or out of stock- of course everything my mom and I wanted to order. Absolutely awful service and did not give me my change back as requested to the waiter. Was NEVER offered something to drink or told of any specials. Horrible ambiance- they literally threw us in a corner, no heat on a cold windy night, and barely gave us the opportunity to order much other than an appetizer. After visiting with my dad earlier in the day at the hospital for him needing a transplant, my mom and I were just looking for a nice dinner and willing to drop $ to get our minds off of things. Will never be returning. Sad as we thought we could support a local LA business with many repeat visits. Never again. Severely disappointed. Don’t go unless you call and request the best table in the house and wear five jackets I guess- oh and ask if they have the full menu available.
So happy to find this little spot in WeHo. The vibe is really nice and it’s perfect date night spot as well as a cool place for night out with friends. Limited parking in front, but plenty of parking down the street. Def coming back for more wine!
Zinque West Hollywood is always a good choice. It has a nice garden setting good atmosphere and the food and drinks are great.
We had the watermelon and burrata appetizer, the rotisserie chicken and a kale salad.
The appetizer was good, though I thought there was too much pepper to the point that it made me cough repeatedly (which was as you can imagine very embarrassing now a days).
The chicken was so dry that it was like chewing on leather. I honestly have never had drier, overcooked chicken in my life.
The kale salad was good.
The service was terrible. First for the appetizer which came in a big bowl we asked for plates. The busboy brought only one plate. We had to ask for a second — otherwise we would have to split this huge thing from the get go since in this time of COVID we really didn’t want to eat from the same plate if one of us decided we wanted more than the other. I guess they needed room in the dishwasher. The waiter then forgot my wine. He was cleaning and doing stuff behind the bar and didn’t bring it until I caught his attention and waived at him, we had already finished the appetizer. No apology or acknowledgment that it had happened—I thought, no big deal, people forget. Then no one asked us if we were enjoying our meal or if we needed anything. Another person came at the end and asked me if I wanted to take the rest of my leather chicken home. I don’t know who she was—I initially thought she was a hostess. I told her about the chicken and that no one had checked in on us throughout the meal. SHE SAID NOTHING!!! No response whatsoever!! She then brought us the check in paper form. A few minutes go by and then our waiter came with the mobile electronic check for us to sign. Now he is all chatty asking about our weekend. I’m wondering if the other lady said something to him. Sorry but I didn’t come to the restaurant to chat with you—after our meal— when you didn’t have enough time to come “chat” about if we were happy with our food or needed anything. Not to mention he STILL didn’t ask.
So disappointed, especially as this place is walking distance from my home.
The staff were very very nice and accomodating during Covid. Props to the waiters and servers -- they really did a great job and were super friendly. Obviously sitting in the street outside during Covid doesn't make for the most pleasant ambience, but they did the best they could and there's no knocking them for that.
Perfect place to have dinner out door! We also enjoyed the food very much.
This place is definitely better for getting drinks but they don’t have a full bar. The food was really average
