Zino Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
We ordered two salads, and pasta (carbonara) and short ribs for the entrees. Salads are very generous. Food came hot, and both of us enjoyed our meals. Bread was also very good - especially the smaller slices with salt on the crust. You can tell a lot about a restaurant by the EVOO. Zino's was fresh and nutty - very good quality. Recommend. Also, saw most people ordered pizzas, so those must be good, also.
Always a wonderful meal at Zino's! If you have not tried this GEM... we would highly recommend. One of our most favorite restaurants in Eagle County. We are locals and have tried many many restaurants in Vail, Beaver Creek, Eagle Vail, and Eagle, and when we think of a special place to go, this is one of our top 3! Their mussels are the best in the valley as well as their burrata . Big fan of the Pappadelle, as well as their Pork Chop. Good flat bread pizzas.. especially this summers fresh corn flat bread! Oh my... simply delish!! During ski season make sure to make a reservation in advance. You won't be disappointed.
One of our favorite restaurants to take out of town visitors or just the 2 of us for a special occasion. We have always had excellent food, well prepared & presented! A new & improved red wine list was a nice surprise on Saturday. A good value if you want a lovely dining experience! We have never been disappointed! Thanks Zino's!!
We always sit outside on the patio because it's so beautiful. But last night it was cool so we had a table inside next to the widow so we could enjoy the beautiful view! Zino's was very lively with people of all ages enjoying delicious Italian food. The mussels are outstanding but all the food is great.
I highly recommend it...and I am Italian!
Loved every part of this meal. Hostess was friendly and made great first impression. Server was terrific and really knew her wines (suggested delightful and affordable pairing for us after we chose entrees!). First plates were worth fighting over - fresh tomato soup vs melon and prosciutto ... both YUM. Veal meatballs vs Strozzapretti were equally delicious second plates. Staff let us casually finish the wine - no rush, but attentive support all the way along.
We'll be back for sure!
Not our first visit - we went for Tuesday mussels madness. Both had mussels - outstanding with a different than normal dipping liquid. We also shared a dish of papardelle with veal meatballs - homemade pasta done well and very light meatballs - yum! Al fresco table topped it all off.
Fabulous Local Italian
When we have our family together in the mountains we love to go to Zino's in Edwards. Consistently excellent Italian dishes, pretty patio above the Eagle River, friendly servers. At a recent dinner my son said his tuna special with black rice was the best meal he'd ever eaten.
Not as good as it used to be, need to change up the menu. One example, the salad with the cumin vinaigrette, which has been on the menu too long, is not very good. The previous salad with strawberries and champagne vinaigrette was much tastier. Unfortunately it's now another restaurant we used to love which has lost favor with us. Maybe they changed chefs, not sure but it's overdue for a refresh.
We found Zino through Open Table recommendations and we loved it. It was one of our favorite places to dine on our vacation. We had been to Sweet Basil in Vail and loved it and found out that Zino was owned by the same people so we knew we would not be disappointed. A great dinner spot!
This is one of our go-to places..love it. Upstairs is nice bar lounge area. The lower level has a nice restaurant that opens out to a dining patio . The patio also has some high tops and a bocce court. Wonderful on a summer evening. Located in Edwards, an attractive upscale shopping area.Pricing is mid-upper range for the Vail Valley ....everything in the area costs more !!!
Wonderful food and wine. Our server Kathy was wonderful. She made sure we had anything that was requested. The wines that they carry are some of the best in the valley. Outside seating is a wonderful perk for the summer. Sitting with great food, wine and friends by the river is not to be missed.
Fantastic service, meal and ambience. The craft cocktails are superb and unique. Excellent mix masters and fun bar scene. Dining is always a treat with fresh ingredients and authentic home made pastas. The service is above par and the wine list is amazing. The servers are educated and not only know the ingredients but understand the Italian regions for the wine. This is a must dine and experience often!
