Zino Ristorante is a lively Italian restaurant from the creators of Sweet Basil. Located in the heart of the Vail Valley, Zino is perfectly situated on the Eagle River in Edwards Colorado. Chef Nick Haley serves contemporary Italian cuisine from an open kitchen, best known for wood fired pizzas, house made pastas and our famous mussels. The large bar and lounge area offers casual dining overlooking the restaurant, and is always buzzing with locals and visitors alike. The wine list features the best of Italian and American wine, created with passion by Owner Giuseppe Bosco. In the warmer months, dinner is also served on our riverside patio, where you can join or watch a game of bocce on the regulation-size court. Great place but our first disappointing night with service. Basically they took our order, it was never turned in, waited waited waited. Out waiter came and asks,” ready for desert?”
We told him we hadn’t even gotten our entrees and he apologized said he’d have them back shortly, they were delivered after another 20 minutes.
Not a great experience.

This is simply one of the better options in the valley. Always friendly, high levels of service, nice additions to the menu for seasonal variety, along with proven staples that are delicious year round. A local favorite for sure!

I have food restrictions, Zinos is one of the few good quality restaurants in town that works with you and doesn't make you feel bothersome. They have a great wine list. I've seen big and small groups of people all age eating there, we are able to find good food choices for our 3 year old granddaughter as well. The staff is always great! The bar/happy hour is a place we meet up with friends and enjoy.

When in Vail Valley and you want to eat where the locals eat year-round, go to Zino. The food is excellent and plentiful, so don't be shy about taking home a doggie box. The fruitwood fired oven pizzas are the best in the high country. My personal favorite is the Salsiccia (sausage) pizza which is what I've been having recently. It's generous, so I take half home and reheat next day. Delicious! Like most everything else in Zino, the sausage is house made and the pizza dough made inhouse. Copious toppings. The eggplant polpette are delicious and are a great choice for a light main dish. The pasta is delicious and also house made. Even the pancetta is now house made, I hear. The wine list is excellent and Piemontephiles will find some of the top names of the region on the list -- not merely the usual large production suspects. Need help choosing a wine, ask for co-owner/general manager Giuseppe Bosco to stop by to lend some sage advice. All in all, a great, casual dining experience.

It was busy! Every table and seat full in the house! Nevertheless, service was excellent, food was awesome, and it’s always consistently good. That’s why I eat at Zino’s at least twice every time I’m in town (and I’m there typically only for five or six days, when I’m there longer, it’s more then two times!!!!!). Don’t change a thing... it’s one of the best from Vail to Edwards!

The food was good with nice sized portions. We really enjoyed the dessert - tiramisu and wine choices. The hostess and servers were friendly and carriered smiles throughout. The downside was we felt like a production line presentation and “how quickly” would we be done to turn the table over. For the price point we were not expecting a fast food experience.

Always good. This time no exception. Worth the drive from Vail and Beaver Creek. The mushroom pizza is a must have item.

Zino’s is one the best restaurants in the Vail valley. Whether it’s for the best mussels, pasta or other entrees, you can’t go wrong here. This is always on our list when visiting the area.

Dinner at Zino was a delight. We enjoyed the eggplant fritters as an appetizer and several pasta dishes were quite good, nicely complemented by a nice brucellosis. Our server, Jesus, did a great job.

good and interesting food. The elk raviolis were terrific as was the barrata. The "cesear" (called Romana) salad was also very tasty. We had a nice selection of wine and interesting cocktails. This was the fine night of our long weekend with friends and it was a nice finishing touch.

I have been eating at Zino since its inception many years ago. After it re-opened when Guiseppe took over, it's been amazing as ever. I recommend Zino to everyone; Monday nights meal was PERFECT! I swear it was the best salad I have ever had. ORTOLANA – Grilled Portobello, Squash, Artichokes, Roasted Roma Tomatoes, Beet Vinaigrette, Parmigiano, Truffle Oil.
The entree (Fresh Tuna over saffron risotto) - perfectly cooked and prepared. Our service was wonderful as well. I woke up Tuesday morning thinking of my salad!

Zino’s is solid “real Italian “ food! The owner is from Italia and his recipes are to die for! They make their own pasta for many of the dishes. Whenever we are up skiing from Denver this is our first stop and many times our last on the way back down the hill! Try the mussels amazing, the papardelli awesome. Everything we have had there is amazing, you can’t go wrong!!! Ciao
