well-managed, quality restaurant with a really nice menu and even better food. The service is reliable and responsive. Not to be missed if you are visiting Vail Valley.
Great dinner with good friends. I’m having the leftovers tonight!
Everything about our evening at Zino’s was great!
Atmosphere is nice and service was excellent. However the food was just okay and for the price makes it all the more frustrating. Mussels appetizer and salad were good but entrees were very disappointing. Rigatoni - noodles were over cooked as was the sausage in the dish. The sauce just tasted very plain. I’ve had this dish previously and it was amazing. My wife also said her pork chop was also disappointing. Similarly she has ordered this before and was very pleased, so maybe this was just an off night in the kitchen. The prices here are not cheap so I expect the food to be good, especially since it has been great in the past.
We dine at Zinos each year on an annual ski trip. The atmosphere and service are always very good but our group of six felt this time that the food was ok but overpriced. My rigatoni with elk sausage was $28 and had little meat. Most pasta dishes are in the same price range and are not a good value.
We don’t frequent eat out because we are good cooks (husband former chef), and at home we use only whole, fresh, local high quality ingredients. But when we do, Zino is the place we go. This time we brought visiting relatives who love to eat out at very high end restaurants in the DC area. They loved Zino. Said they wanted to return rather than trying a different, “fancier” spot in Vail later this week. Our server more than accommodated the Vegan eater in our group by custom creating a pasta dish that she knew kitchen would make yummy. Thank you Zino for consistently modeling good service and delicious food prepared expertly. Try the Cioppino or Risotto. And the gluten free pizzas are a treat. All are super yummy!
Great place for locals and visitors alike. Good food and drink!!
Wonderful meal with impeccable service. Our waiter really knew the menu and was having fun with us! The food was perfect
Very good Italian food and setting. Really good service. Great bar area. Add Guiness beer!
Can’t visit Vail Valley without dining here. Mussels are the best, great menu options with excellent service. Always a wonderful dining experience!
This is a nice restaurant-nice atmosphere, great service & great food. Thumbs up!
Dinner with friends on vacation
This is a terrific restaurant to eat at when you are in the Vail area. It is about a 15-minute drive down the 70. So if the weather is not good it's not great to go there. We did! And we love everything about it. Atmosphere food service and value. Cannot recommend enough. Italian gentleman who is the manager of the restaurant was absolutely terrific and taking care of different situations. Food was delicious.. Don't hesitate go!
Zino's is one of our favorite restaurants in the mountains!
The oxtail gnocchi was absolutely outstanding, the best I have ever had.
Mussels were excellent, Salad delicious, Butternut Squash ravioli delicious but too “al dente”. Montepulciano delicious.
Wonderful food, service and ambiance. Zino's is our go to restaurant and we are never disappointed
We thought that service was a little slow. Water came quick, then after we ordered drinks were slow and so was the bread.
Main meal was fine
I came with friends who were visiting. No one was really hungry, so we shared the marquerita pizza and got salads. I had a glass of wine. All was very good, but the pizza somewhat disappointing. The crust was great, but the cheese and toppings just semi warm. Wine was delicious as was the hazelnut icecream. Service was excellent. Will come again.
Super convenient when staying at the Inn and Suites at Riverwalk, nice atmosphere, food was very good. I'm on the Keto diet and there weren't a ton of choices but I had the chicken and substituted a broccoli-type veggie instead of the rice and it was a great choice, delicious and low-carb. Hubby and friend had delicious pizzas and a $3 scoop of gelato that they liked. Been there before and will go again!
Seven of us enjoyed a celebration dinner on a Monday evening. Everyone loved their food, especially the grouper special. The restaurant was pleasantly full, reservations were needed, plus they accommodated us for the seventh person on a reservation for six.
Nathan was entertaining as well as, efficient. A thoroughly pleasant evening!
I immediately fell in love with the dramatic stair case that you descend into the main restaurant. I am gluten free and most the menu can be made gluten free. The menu was interesting, the food excellent, and the service fast and friendly. We had the creme brulee for desert and it was fantastic.
Two Chicken dishes were under cooked, other dishes were not hot and Service was just O K.
Was not the same as our other visits in the past.
Server was excellent.
Great January 6
Great service for a large table. The menu offered a variety of options that everyone could choose from. The specials including the tuna were outstanding!
Friends who are locals introduced us to Zinos two or three years ago and we make it a point to dine there when we ski at Beaver Creek. We love the ambiance, the food is some of the best we have had in the Valley and we have had excellent service. We would highly recommend Zinos when visiting the area.
Zino’s is fantastic, we have been numerous times and it never disappoints! Their service and food is to die for and we love bringing our friends here! Enjoy!!
Great Authentic Italian food in Edwards. Worth the short trip from Vail.
The restaurant was difficult to find. It is not visible from the point that Google maps says “You’ve arrived!”. It’s around the corner, behind The Inn.
The food was fantastic and well worth the search. This will be the first reservation I make the next time we are in town. Each dish that we tried was made of carefully chosen and high quality ingredients. This place is clearly a labor of love and it shows
New Years Eve
We always enjoy our time at Zino. Our daughter has celebrated her birthday at Zino countless times and as always you all made her day very special. The ambience was a little off last night due to the diners at an adjacent table. They were having a great time, but we’re extremely loud and used vulgar language. We made the best of it and had a good laugh. Happy New Year to all!!
I debated between a 2 star and a 3 star. I decided to do 3 star, because our waitress was very good, but besides her, the entire experience wasn’t great. We had an 8;30 reservation and got there at 8:10, in hopes of sitting maybe 5 or 10 mins early, but they told us as soon as we checked in, you won’t be seated until 8:30. The food was so slow in coming out that we didn’t finish our meal until 10:15, and we decided to skip dessert, because of the slow service. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. The papardelli pasta was ok, the risotto was just ok, nothing blew us away. For such a long wait, you wanted awesome food. I would not recommend this place and it was a 20 min drive from vail village, we should have stayed in vail village.
Enjoyed Christmas dinner! Fettuccine was fantastic.
Anniversary shard with the family !
Jesse was fantastic, friendly and attentive without overbearing. Highly recommend Zinos for an upscale Italian meal.
Hundred dollars of horrible.
Obnoxious waiter who was scattered and at one point just stopped in mid sentence and literally ran away from the table like the roof was on fire. Weird!!! Drove over from Vail to eat here. Not worth the time. Menu wasn’t current from what was advertised on open table. Two huge ceiling fans going on high about froze us out. Bread basket was cold upon arrival like it had been outside.
Wish I had spent time and money else where. Zino is a no no
Slow start with server taking a long time to take cocktail order but the once he finally came to our table it went well. Food is so good.
