I ordered the Fritto Misto for the table. There were three of us and we didn't finish it because it was average, not too big. I had the Maiale for dinner. The oil drowned the pork, I ate two bits which was two too many. My daughter ordered the Pappardelle which was very good. My wife ordered a pizza, it was O.K. the Tiramisu was excellent.
Brought the family here for spring break, and someone recommended the restaurant to us. It was worth it...great food and service.
Zion’s is well managed. The editors/waitresses are. knowledgeable and articulate. Food is excellent. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the Valley
Always consistently excellent from start (with muscles) to finish!!! My go to and has been for years.
Dining at Zino's never fails to impress! The food is always perfection, the waitstaff is kind, courteous, knowledgable and professional. The menu constantly has new options of foods to try out, so you can always find something delicious! You MUST HAVE the burrata, it's divine!
Our server Mary Christine Gavin was incredible. Extremely personable and did a fantastic job taking care of us.
We eat at Zino’s every chance we can! Everything on the menu is fantastic! This was a birthday dinner for a friend, creating a menu with his name was awesome!!
A great local restaurant
The night we were there, the computer ordering/check system was down. We were made aware of this and anticipated some slight delays. Dinner was fine, but our dessert orders were taken, but never ordered in the kitchen. After waiting 30min we requested the check and departed. Not a favorite dining experience.
Have been many times, always perfect for whole family!!!
Staying in Beaver Creek and wanted to get away from the ultra experience resort restaurants. Found Zino while doing some restaurant searching. So glad it was exactly what we were looking for good food and great value.
Mediocre food at high prices.
we enjoy the restaurant and come frequently. this time we were greeted by adam who is back. we are happy for him. wait staff is always attentive too. the owner is always around which is good to be visible. thanks for the enjoyablee evening.
Our favorite Vail area restaurant!! There should be three choices to the question regarding recommending Zino: ABSOLUTELY YES should be one of them. I would absolutely recommend this favorite of the locals to anyone visiting our beautiful resorts of Vail and Beaver Creek or just moving to town. I spend a great deal of time in Italy and this is my go-to restaurant when I'm home in the valley. Consistency is no stranger to the high quality food, service, ambiance, and well-curated wine list that is definitely not the usual labels you see everywhere else. Most of what's on the list are artisanal wines from family-owned wineries. The menu features seasonal products with a huge emphasis on locally produced items. This winter is my favorite dish I've ever had there...braised lamb shank on polenta. It screams ITALY IN WINTER! And if you're not in the mood for a lot of food, then pop into the bar that's always buzzing and grab a pizza or some small plates (Happy hour is the best and cheapest time!). Buon appetito!
I enjoyed dining at Zino. However, the mussels were delivered to our table unfiinished and rather bland; whereas, the mussels were most delicious on my prior visits. The bread is delicious and graciously replenished by the waitstaff! Zino serves my favourite beer: Moretti la Ross’s, which is difficult to find in liquor stores much less restaurants and bars. Give this neighborhood gem a try!
The food was great - we had a special, Lobster ravioli and the mushroom pizza with arugala. Very authentic and delicious. The decor is fabulous and they had a winter collins crafted cocktail that was so good.
Always a fun evening
Wonderfully creative menu prepared to perfection (Elk ravioli - wow) Cozy and warm on a snowy evening. We look forward to the returning on our next trip to Beaver Creek.
Excellent authentic Italian (including pizza and housemade pastas) with innovative dishes, superb service and convivial atmosphere. Cocktails great too!
Happy Hour is always fun and good food and drink choices. Attractive setting too.
well-managed, quality restaurant with a really nice menu and even better food. The service is reliable and responsive. Not to be missed if you are visiting Vail Valley.
Great dinner with good friends. I’m having the leftovers tonight!
Everything about our evening at Zino’s was great!
Atmosphere is nice and service was excellent. However the food was just okay and for the price makes it all the more frustrating. Mussels appetizer and salad were good but entrees were very disappointing. Rigatoni - noodles were over cooked as was the sausage in the dish. The sauce just tasted very plain. I’ve had this dish previously and it was amazing. My wife also said her pork chop was also disappointing. Similarly she has ordered this before and was very pleased, so maybe this was just an off night in the kitchen. The prices here are not cheap so I expect the food to be good, especially since it has been great in the past.
We dine at Zinos each year on an annual ski trip. The atmosphere and service are always very good but our group of six felt this time that the food was ok but overpriced. My rigatoni with elk sausage was $28 and had little meat. Most pasta dishes are in the same price range and are not a good value.
We don’t frequent eat out because we are good cooks (husband former chef), and at home we use only whole, fresh, local high quality ingredients. But when we do, Zino is the place we go. This time we brought visiting relatives who love to eat out at very high end restaurants in the DC area. They loved Zino. Said they wanted to return rather than trying a different, “fancier” spot in Vail later this week. Our server more than accommodated the Vegan eater in our group by custom creating a pasta dish that she knew kitchen would make yummy. Thank you Zino for consistently modeling good service and delicious food prepared expertly. Try the Cioppino or Risotto. And the gluten free pizzas are a treat. All are super yummy!
Great place for locals and visitors alike. Good food and drink!!
Wonderful meal with impeccable service. Our waiter really knew the menu and was having fun with us! The food was perfect
Very good Italian food and setting. Really good service. Great bar area. Add Guiness beer!
Can’t visit Vail Valley without dining here. Mussels are the best, great menu options with excellent service. Always a wonderful dining experience!
This is a nice restaurant-nice atmosphere, great service & great food. Thumbs up!
Dinner with friends on vacation
This is a terrific restaurant to eat at when you are in the Vail area. It is about a 15-minute drive down the 70. So if the weather is not good it's not great to go there. We did! And we love everything about it. Atmosphere food service and value. Cannot recommend enough. Italian gentleman who is the manager of the restaurant was absolutely terrific and taking care of different situations. Food was delicious.. Don't hesitate go!
Zino's is one of our favorite restaurants in the mountains!
The oxtail gnocchi was absolutely outstanding, the best I have ever had.
Mussels were excellent, Salad delicious, Butternut Squash ravioli delicious but too “al dente”. Montepulciano delicious.
Wonderful food, service and ambiance. Zino's is our go to restaurant and we are never disappointed
We thought that service was a little slow. Water came quick, then after we ordered drinks were slow and so was the bread.
Main meal was fine
