Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us a concise run down on some history and specialty items. (It was our first time eating there). She was quick to offer us some samples. The food is farm to table, locally sourced as much as possible. It was delicious. We don’t feel like we were rushed out either even though they were busy. Very relaxing and the artwork is great!

We were a large group (7), and the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and responsive, and unflappable. Ari (one of the principles) checked in with his indomitable warmth and thoughtful caring. Somehow, we never expect how wonderful being there is, and thus are regularly delighted. Drinks were great (Negroni, and some seasonal summer cocktails). Ango chili, Kale salad, fried chicken, white fish, pimiento cheese - everything terrific.

We were in town for a race and decided to eat here for the smoked meats . When we arrived after sitting at table and ready to order the waitress told us they were out of all beef. We could order no beef. Would have liked to have been told this before ordering drinks and appetizers . Ordered poutine - not real cheese curds - actually cheddar cut into cubes. Fried chicken sandwich very chewy and difficult to eat. Waitress never asked how the food was and had to ask her for refills on water and drinks. Very disappointing.

Great place for an early dinner (4-5 PM). Same exceptional service and delicious food without the usual crowd. The rainbow trout served with spinach and rice was cooked just right. The chicken fried mushrooms with mashed potatoes and gravy were fresh and full of flavor.

My fiancé and I absolutely LOVED the food and waitress we had for his bday this past Tuesday! The food was phenomenal and the waitress was AMAZING we even shared a piece of our celebration to show how much we appreciate her! Thank you for making his bday so special and for allowing us the opportunity to once again try a Michigan local favorite restaurant! Stay amazing Zingerman’s CREW!

Such an enjoyable dinner with friends! Zingermans is consistent an every level. Thank you Jesse our server who made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. He was 200%!
