The food was great, making the reservation was easy, the server Leo made it a great experience...my Moms 85th birthday
This was our first time and it was for a birthday dinner, we will definitely be back. The calamari appetizer and gnocchi dinner was the best!!!
We had a 7:00 PM reservation but when we arrived about 6:55, line was out the door w folks who had reservations but we're being told that they could not be seated. We had to wait until 7:30 for our table. We brought wine but our waitress never showed up to pour us more after the initial pouring.
We had a very good time with our friends at dinner Saturday. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars overall was that despite arriving a little early for our 5:30 reservation we were made to stand and wait for 20 minutes in a chaotic crowded scrum at the entry before being seated at our table, which had been empty the whole time. However everything went well after being seated and we were happy to be placed far from the noisy bar. Good short ribs and masheds.
Clam chowder was delicious, as was the butternut squash ravioli. The Chinese chicken salad was disappointing, not much chicken and a small salad
First time at Zinfandel Grille and it was amazing! Food was great. Service was outstanding. We will definitely be back.
We went to Zinfandel Grille on Feb. 15th to belatedly celebrate Valentine's Day, because of a conflict on the actual day. Very satisfied with our choice. Relaxing and romantic. Easy parking and good service, and food was excellent. Ambience and value were reasonable for a fine dining establishment. Recommend reservations, as restaurant was crowded.
Excellent place, excellent service, excellent food, maybe a bit noisy but it was Valentines Day, So we expected it to be slightly noisy.
Otherwise everything was great !!!
Valentine Day date. The stag was friendly and attentive. The waitress was one of our highlight this year! A bit crowded and noisy, but it was Valentine Day. We get it. The portions were modest, more to our liking.
The pricing was a bit high. Reminded me of Maui without he surf sound. Again it’s Valentine Day??
We eat here frequently and plan to continue to.
We've been to Zinfandel Grille several times, so we're familiar with the restaurant. About the food...I had angel hair pasta with seafood, which was delicious. The pasta however, was over cooked and more paste like. My husband had the prime rib and ordered it medium. What he received was partially medium and more than half rare. He was unable to finish his meal because of the rareness of the prime rib. The prices, given that the menu was limited, were very high. We did not believe it would be over $200, including tip, but it was. On a brighter note, our waitperson was outstanding. She checked with us occasionally, which was just enough. Our reservation was for 4:15 (we're old so it was perfect for us) and were seated promptly. We were disappointed in the meal, especially since we were one of the first couples to be seated. We thought our meal would have been great since we were early in the dinner hour, alas it was not.
Way too crowded, way too loud, was seated 45 minutes late and had reservations
The tables were squished tightly together. Any time our waiter visited another table his butt was right on our food. We could hear every conversation. This was our second time giving this restaurant a try because the first time was horrid. Third time may not always be a charm I guess because we arent going back.
Overbooked, overcooked, and waaay too loud for romantic dinner....more of a pub atmosphere. Would help to give some basic courtesy lesson to host staff...they were nice enough to us, but others not so lucky.
This was on Valentine’s Day so I understand
