Had great service. I think named joe. Told us everything we needed. Steak great, desert staff, martinis. Really enjoyed even if cost a bit, but hey it’s French .
Very nice atmosphere in courtyard. Other dining areas were very loud next to the bar. Will always request courtyard. Food was very good.
Phenomenal meal, as always. The French Onion Soup is the best I've ever had and it is always consistently excellent. I usually get a pesto chicken sandwich or a burger and they are first rate. The meal was great, the ambience exceptional. It is not inexpensive, but then show me a French restaurant that is.
Surprisingly busy for early Sunday dinner. Be warned that two top table is particularly small and best for a snack or app, not a full dinner and drinks. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. Bistro banquette seating can be noisy since other guests are so close. Chicken and dumpling consume, $16, was not a success with doughy dumplings, and not enough of the tasty consume. The filet and frites, $40, were perfect and the diver scallops, $42, also very well executed. It would be an excellent surf & turf offering. No mention made by staff of special occasion despite reservation notice.
We had a wonderful evening enjoying the good food, kind staff, and excellent service. My only complaint was a family who's two girls played in the fountain that adjoined our table and the staff did not ask them to return to their table in the other section of the restaurant.
Warm attentive service with really good food. The team works together from host, to servers, to busers to ensure guest are well taken care of. It is noisy so if you are looking for an intimate conversation ask to be seated side by side.
first rate alll around a delight and apleasire
Noise level was too loud for conversation but otherwise a wonderful restaurant
that we visit each year during our stay in Scottsdale.
Wonderful experience, brought back memories of the last time we were there more than 15 years ago.
We enjoyed our visit to Zinc for a parents night out. Met another couple for an enjoyable evening. My french 75 cocktail was good and the special of the leg of lamb was great. It was not an inexpensive meal but I will enjoy returning here in the future.
Excellent food. Great waiter but courses came out a little too fast. Lovely ambience.
Our server was Nick, great attitude, high knowledge about his products and a pleasure to have served us. The food was ok, swordfish was subpar but if it was not for Nick, it would have been a fail!
We ate outside at lunch and it was wonderful. We had the chicken curry sandwich and of course the wonderful frites. Our server was very friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite spots and is does not disappoint.
Unfortunately I had gluten in one of my meal options. I had the skirt steak and the zinc scalloped potatoes— the latter fish I was told were gluten free but feel that is where the gluten was. I am apprehensive about eating at Zinc Bistro in the future. Celiacs have to place trust in their server, and I feel our server gave mis- information. I was sick all night and the next day.
French Bistro with good choice of menu items. Salads are very average and nothing special. Order off the brunch menu if dine on a Sunday and you will be delighted. Ambiance is very nice with Parisian feel to the restaurant. Nice outdoor seating.
It was great. Zinc is always a go-to restaurant!!!
Sandwich and salad were good. No sides come with the pastrami sandwich. No beer on tap. No to-go cups for ice tea.
I’ve been coming to Zinc for years, and my experience there has always been consistent....lovely atmosphere, great outdoor dining, excellent food, and impeccable service. The truffle fries are addictive!
Loved every sip, every nibble, every minute! Will definitely go back during patio weather!
Eclectic food was pretty good, but way over priced
Food is fantastic. They have a great chef. Service excellent, they do not rush you , you can really enjoy the evening
Frankie is simply the BEST server ever. He made great recommendations and has a terrific personality. We will be back soon!
Always a great experience!
Great food, ambience and service!
So pleasant sitting in the garden room because there are fewer tables and therefore quieter. Service and food were excellent. The beef cheeks and vegetables were in a delicious, peppery sauce. The servers were attentive, timely, but did not rush us. thank you
First time having lunch at Zinc..the food was fabulous but I was especially impressed by the professional service. You don't see that very often during lunch.. Thank you Glen for that! And thank you manager Betsy for making us feel so welcomed..
One of the best meals I have had in awhile, very attentive server great experience will definitely go back soon
Always a great spot. One of my favorites.
Great steak and fries. Just enough for my husband and for a quick dinner.
Second visit to this restaurant, the first experience was lovely. However this time I found the atmosphere very loud regardless of where the seating is. The French Onion Soup was very bland and too sweet. The special lamb chops with lamb ravioli and lamb sausage was very fatty and offered maybe to bites of meat. The meat on the ribs was too fat to eat. Dining companion had the Hudson Valley Duck Breast and found it to be very salty and the presentation was not the best. I would not try this restaurant again.
Fabulous service, Wine, food and ambiance! Loved taking my out of town guests there and they loved it!
Wonderful evening in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was great, the waiter delightful! I would definitely recommend a visit. To our surprise we discovered that this is the oldest of the Kierland Commons' eating establishments. That speaks volumes.
Our table was next to the bar area. Very noisy. Could not hear the couple with us. Food was good. The courtyard seating would have been much nicer ambiance
My husband had the chicken Caesar which was delicious. I had the French onion soup. $14. And not as good as before. Disappointing.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I wil definitely return.
Zinc has the best onion soup anywhere.
Usually have a great experience here however on this Sunday the service was extremely slow almost 25 minutes for our entree. Our mussels never showed up as an appetizer. All the waiter said about the delay was that others had been waiting over 30 minutes for there food. Disappointing.
Food was amazing as usual.
