This is my favorite restaurant in Phoenix area. Pls move to Biltmore!
Excellent service and delicious food. Beautiful setting as well.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Sat out on the open air porch for dinner. Onion soup and muscles were great. Overall a terrific experience.
French Friday at Zinc Bistro is a real treat. Each Friday they highlight a traditional French dish. During this visit it was Beef Bourguignon and it was some of the best I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Zince Bistro. You won't be sorry!
Our first time at this restaurant. Our server Frankie was excellent. We loved the octopus appetizer. The flat iron steak was tender and rare. Got a complimentary soufflé for my wife’s birthday. The iced tea was flavored and was very good. We’ll come back.
Food was wonderful and Frankie was great!
We will go back again soon.
Excellent French cooking in an elegant environment, with pleasant outdoor tables when weather permits. Very knowledgeable and attentive wait staff.
I love their new French Friday concept! The Duck a l'Orange was delicious! Zinc Bristro also has the best fresh oysters in the valley and an outstanding wine list.
We go to Zink all the time
Love the atmosphere and food
However last Friday we decided to for your new Friday night special
It was duck
My husband loves duck and will always get it wherever we go and it’s on the menu
That duck was so disappointing
It was very chewy
Kind of a bummer since we were excited about your new feature
I had flat iron steak and it was out standing
We alway love the food at this place and for sure will come back
Just that duck was just so disappointing
We were celebrating our anniversary with some friends and had a great time!
We had the best waiter. He heard us saying it was our friends day and surprised us w a delish desert. so very thoughtful. we will be back soon.
Recommended by a friend who ate there about a month ago. Decided to go with another friend. Sure enough it was a good decision as the food and service were champ. I ordered its special (Halibut) and it turned out one of my best Halibut dishes. Thanks for making our evening.
Lovely evening however felt food was not exceptional and felt turning up the music so we would leave unfortunate
Likely will not return.
Meat was tough. Waiter was not attentive or pleasant
Everything, ( well almost .. ), was great until the very end. Our waitress sent our desserts out when we were still dining on our mains ! We sent the runner back and told her. It was also my husband’s birthday, which I noted in this Open Table reservation, and the hostess mentioned upon seating us. Our waitress NOT only sent those desserts while we had our mains in front of us , THEN I mentioned that to her .. she popped off at me and re sent them again while I was in the restroom... with the check. No offer of coffee ; after dinner drinks .. and mainly , no mention of the birthday that I had in my reservation. We also had to request the Restaurant Week menu when she didn’t give it to us or mention it in the beginning. We LOVED our meal ..
The waitress left a very sour taste in our mouths.
Our waiter Mark was excellent. His service and friendliness was outstanding.
Service was spotty. We didnt see our waitress for quite some time at 2 points....not a huge deal but the restaurant was not very busy.
Great food, we ate on the garden patio and it was lovely. Nice luncheon.
Service was unnecessarily slow. Outdoor seating was fantastic in terms of atmosphere and people watching but almost felt like we were forgotten by the wait staff. Food was good, not great...probably better for lunch or a drink before dinner
We visited Zinc for the first time during restaurant week. Each course had 4 choices so we didn't feel deprived in any way by choosing only from the restaurant week menu. I think the stars of the show were the ahi appetizer, the halibut and the tarte tatin and creme brulee. My steak was fantastic but the fries were a bit too salty. The wines were delicious and not overpriced with a good selection from France but also from higher value areas like Argentina. Service was unobtrusive, but friendly, and the waitress told us to come back when it's not restaurant week so she had more time for a conversation. We were lucky that it was a beautiful evening and we could sit on the patio. All-in-all a great experience and we will be back!
The restaurant was very busy for restaurant week. Service was good, food was good (we ordered from the menu). Unfortunately we were stuck in a corner of the patio where there was no air moving so was somewhat uncomfortable.
Zinc Bistro continues to shine. As always, the Onion Soup is the best that I've ever had, including in France. Frankie, our waiter was fantastic, continuing their reputation for great service. We will continue to go to Zinc Bistro one of our favorite restaurants in the Valley.
I love the shaved chicken caesar salad and come frequently just for that. Once the weather is nice I also love sitting on the patio people and dog watching. My last visit I must say lacked in service...the first time for me. We had to finally go inside to ask for olive oil/vinegar even though we had addressed it 2x.
I love Zinc Bistro! It is a neighborhood gem with an authentic French cafe vibe. The food is delicious and portions are perfect. It is a taste experience whether is it as casual lunch or a romantic dinner. Slow down and eat good food kinda of place.
We made a reservation through Open Table. It was confirmed and we received a text reminder. The Hostess could not locate our reservation and at first wanted to seat us at the bar. She found a table in the dining room. We had noted on the OpenTable app that it was our wedding anniversary, so that was lost. She seated us yet did not present or mention the Restaurant Week menu. Our server brought us one menu to share when we asked. We did order from the Restaurant Week menu and our food was fantastic! It turned out to be a very enjoyable evening!
Did the Restaurant Week menu and SHOULD have headed the servers hints about the escargot.... we love them but he warned us they had no special holders and they might be hard to extract. OMG IMPOSSIBILITIES FOR SURE. have never seen such a disaster trying to reach the little bits inside the shells. But finally discovered if you pried hard enough with the fork you could crack the shell into little pieces for the escargot!!?messy indeed
The remainder of the menu options were fabulous a usual for Zinc. Been there dozens of times over the years. Be sure to do the soufflé if you like chocolate as it was superb. The halibut was also exquisite with the various accompanying veggies and flavors.
Been going there for many years and never had a bad experience. I love everyone that works at ZINC . They are polite, professional and passionate about there livelihood. The food is outstanding and the surroundings are wonderful at this lovely french bistro,
A wonderful experience! Great ambiance, excellent unobtrusive service and perfectly prepared food. Desserts were ridiculously good!
We've been coming to Zinc for years. It rarely disappoints (when it does, it's because it's too noisy). Always enjoy our time at this restaurant. Very sorry to see it so empty over the lunch hour, tho. Hope that picks back up with next influx of snowbirds!
Our server "Frankie" made the night. He was terrific and attentive.
Frankie was our server. He was attentive and professional, gave special care to my gluten allergy. The food was fantastic, fresh and flavorful. We had the Zinc salad, Ahi Carpaccio and French Onion soup as starters, Halibut and Steak Frites for entrees and Creme Brûlée and Apple Tartin for dessert. My husband loved his Manhattan with Luxardo cherry and giant ice cube. It was a delicious and relaxing evening.
Delicious food with excellent patio seating
The food we received was prepared very masterful and each plate was very detailed with lots of surprises. Everything was delicious. Our server was helpful and efficient.
Enjoyed a nice evening. Jesse was great at the bar.
Wonderful all the way around.
Went for restaurant week. Menu had great choices.
We enjoyed our time, food and service overall. However, I had made you aware that we were celebrating our anniversary and an acknowledgement was never made by anyone at the restaurant. I did not expect anything more than a greeting of “”Happy Anniversary, Dr. Kelly, to you and your wife.” This would have made a big difference to just be greeted in that way.
Beautifully presented food and amazing service! A little on the pricey side but the food is really worth it.
Both of us ordered the house special (halibut), both were over cooked. Server and management were apologetic, and offered free cocktails to compensate.
I would give Zinc another try, but was disappointed
