The service was excellent and we enjoyed our booth. The music was to rock, need soft music on a nice place like this. The food was not worth the $$$. Beet salad needs help and my New York steak had way to much gristle and fat. The short ribs were not great, I could of done better. Very disappointed looked forward to my 75th birthday for weeks, should of went to Flamings!
We were not aware they had a separate brunch menu on Sundays, so that was a pleasant surprise.
We like Zinc Bistro a lot. The food and service are always excellent and it’s a fun location in the middle of Kierland Commons. It is a little over-priced but generally worth it. My only criticism is that it is extremely loud on a busy night. People over 60 may find it difficult to have a conversation. Best to go during the week if you want a somewhat quieter experience.
The chicken curry sandwich is fantastic. The omelette is also very good. It’s noisy, crowded and a little expensive so just like Paris!
Food was outstanding! Service was amazing.
Yes, but with reservations...Cocktails are somewhat overpriced. Wines are priced more rationally. Steak Tartare (appetizer) was too small and hyper-seasoned and over priced. Flat iron steak frites was mediocre quality beef--too tough and full of nerves. Frites were over-salted. Service was aggressive but efficient. The restaurant atmosphere is frenetic and intolerably noisy.
We had an enjoyable lunch with great service and outstanding food. The lunch menu was large and varied.
After a shaky start, (waited about 15 minutes before a server appeared while others seated after us were taken care of), our experience could not have been better. Management provided us with complementary drinks and desserts after our long wait and service was more than attentive at that point. Also food was excellent, beautifully prepared and presented. Would definitely recommend to others.
We were there for lunch and sat on the patio courtyard. As usual, we had drinks and truffle fries to start.
The omelette and the curry chicken sandwich were very tasty. We finished with French press coffee.
Bobby, our server, was very attentive and Glenn, the manager, was doing his usual fine job of running a smooth lunch hour.
Crab crepe, bouillabaisse, and Frankie. Love this place.
Had lunch with table for 6. Service, food and setting were all outstanding.. We weren't rushed and could just sit back and enjoy a special occasion. One of the best restaurants in Scottsdale!!
Enter menu could offer more choces
Expertly prepared entrees and cocktails, great wine selection and as always - stellar service.
All around excellent food and service
Great time as usual. Staff was outstanding, food did not disappoint!
The food was fine. A bit overpriced for what it was. Waiter came to the table too much. The music was so loud it was hard to talk to my companion. I would not go back.
Our service was excellent and food was good. Ambiance was very nice although our table was pretty tight to others even though the restaurant was not full at the time. Value for the food served was only mediocre in my opinion. Overall a good restaurant, but others we visited on our vacation to Scottsdale were better.
All is great hear hence the rating per catagory!
We have enjoyed Zinc Bistro on numerous occasions. On our most recent outing, we enjoyed excellent food and wine, attentive service and a lively environment. We are looking forward to our next dining experience at Zinc Bistro.
Everything was delicious, portions were just right, service was attentive and gracious; furthermore, the sauces were INTERESTING.
Family birthday dinner. Excellent service, very good food and nice ambiance.
Waiter was excellent!!
Mundane food. Boulluabase was mostly fish -little shellfish-tiny shrimp. Boring.
Will not return.
We had a fantastic experience on New Year's Eve. Our plan was to have dinner at Zinc then head to the lounge at another restaurant for our New Year's celebration. The overall atmosphere - the staff, food, wine, and other happy revelers at Zinc - were all so gracious, comfy, friendly, and fun that we arrived at 8:30 and didn't leave until well after midnight! It was a magical evening.
One of my favorite places to dine. Were there with 2 other couples for NYE. Staff was wonderful, champagne and a few sparklers topped off evening.
Our NYE reservation for 8:30pm was not sat down until 9:30pm. We were sat outside where the heating device was broken (it was around 45 degrees outside). We sat next to the broken heater for 20 minutes while an employee was trying to fix it. I finally went inside and asked to be sat inside which the hostess complied. We ordered our dinner around 10:15pm and it was fairly speedy and very tasty.
Our waitress was very sweet, but with the restaurant as overbooked as it was with very limited bar seating, the poor start to our NYE left a bad taste until we left.
Very disappointed we booked for New Years Eve our reservation was for 8-15 they could not accommodate us till 9 as the previous sittings were not leaving their tables. It was a complete mess so we left they did come after us and found us a table. Everyone was complaining and getting rather heated.
Once seated and ordered the food was very good.
Food, service, and atmosphere were ALL top notch. It was New Year's eve.-- a busy evening obviously--BUT it was handled seamlessly.
Absolutely the worst wait staff. I relive they were busy. This was probably my 30th meal here. Ww were never given spoons to serve our pommel purée or asparagus. We ordered chateaubriand for dinner. At the end of the meal we were handed three boxes to put the leftovers in. Then we cleaned the table or the dirty dishes would have been there forever. I order three glasses of tattinger. I had to ask at least three times for another glass after the first. Never offered tea or coffee with the soufflé. So disappointing.
Everything was wonderful
Always a great experience at Zinc!
Wonderful evening at Zinc Bistro. Excellent wine list, well curated. The service and food was top notch.
Consistently delicious food and an outstanding waitstaff.
Christmas dinner here is always magical. Excel went good and service. Feels like Paris.
The quality of the food is generally pretty high, but the fake bistro decor and the nonchalance of the waitstaff grates. We were exiled to the unheated patio even though we had a reservation; we had to keep flagging people down for service. The food was tasty, if also very rich. When we complained that the gnocchi was overcooked, we literally got an "oh well" from the waiter. When we complained at the desk on the way out, we go a smile and a "Merry Christmas." A good chef and a bad restaurant machine.
Salmon was completely overcooked! I had higher expectations of this kitchen than this!
Great waitress and food! If you love French food, I would recommend!
Excellent, authentic French-style bistro. The steak-frites and crème brulée were some of the best I've had. Our server Andrew was outstanding!
