For anyone who has ever stepped off the train at Edinburgh’s Waverley Station and felt a sudden urge to try some Brazilian cuisine, Zico’s Grill Bar is for you. Near to the station at 97-101 Morrison Street, Zico’s presents a pleasant change from the more standard international dining staples. If you’re unsure exactly what Brazilian food is, think churrasco-style grilled beef ribs and parmesan pork loins, feijioada black bean stew and a variety of different salad, pasta, rice and roast vegetable dishes. Zico’s has been providing Brazilian meals to its patrons since 2012 and takes both its authenticity and family-friendly atmosphere very seriously. Between Wednesday and Friday, Zico’s lunch time menu is half price (£9.95), and under 5s eat for free. Zico’s invites diners to “eat at your own pace and to your own content”, and welcomes visitors “with a love of the grill”.
