Ziba's is truly a neighborhood gem! We would be lost without it :) The owner, Marcy, always takes time to greet each party and remembers little details about everyone. Her staff is fantastic - professional, attentive and FUN! Finally, the food is very consistent - and delicious!
The food is always good and the staff strikes the right balance between friendly and professional.
Love this place..been going for 7 years and it just gets better!
Very nice atmosphere Friday night with the live band.
As always, I had a great time at Zibas. The owner, Marcie, greeted us at the door. I had the Bowtie pasta dish as per usual. It’s consistently delicious!
First visit for 4 of the 6 diners at our table. Everyone raved about the menu, presentation and taste and quality of the food. Attentive service by all. 2 at our table had come for brunch several weeks ago and the owner recognized us! We'll be back.
Birthday gathering. Perfect space and great service
the service was so great. the restaurant was not overly crowded, especially fora sunday brunch. we appreciated the attentive staff and great food. solid bloody mary and mimosas!
Had been passing this restaurant for several months. Two couples (me and friends) have date night the first Tuesday each month. It was my turn to select the dinner location so I decided to make a reservation to check it out. We all thoroughly enjoyed thew experience. Tuesdays are generally quiet and we used the time to catch up on each other's lives while enjoying good food. The empanada's were a delicious start, I had bowtie pasta with chicken, my husband had the chicken picatta which he said was delicious, the whole fried fish was a delight to see and our friends said it was really good. The salads were quite and we know next time we can share a salad leaving more room for the hummus we wanted to try. Overall a good experience.
This is a sweet place to meet- the only downside to my dinner gathering was that the temperature outside was cold and inside chilly so my delicious portabello mushroom soup got cold very quickly -and tended to cause us to rush through the food in order for it not to get cold -otherwise, I love this place and will go back 'when the temperature warms up'...
I'm not from the area and found this is not the nicest part of town, though not a unsafe. Just a REAL authentic area with culture, that's the vibe I look for. I don't want to eat at a cookie cutter restaurant right in the middle of suburbia. This place has character and charm, and the food was great - had the Acorn Squash veggie bowl which I recommend. The wine list is decent - won't knock your socks off but at least offers some good choices to pair with your meal. Definitely recommend.
Funky, casual and comfortable. We were a party of 8, and though the service could have been kicked up a notch, it didn't detract from an enjoyable dinner/evening. I had the stuffed acorn squash. Excellent! Very filling, too. This was my second time at Ziba's and I'll definitely go a third time at some point.
Great food and good service at a good price. I had the bow-ties with salmon and it was rich and delicious!
The beauty about Ziba's is the fact it's a hidden treasure in the Grant Park neighborhood.
I've dined here several times w/friends.
The last cpl of times have left a LOT to be desired, in my opinion.
For one - I'm certain there are protocols, or some time of monetary/kick-back exchange for merchants to advertise their restaurants on Open Table. That said - one would think that the restaurant in question would make valiant efforts at honoring reservations booked/placed by patrons.
When I arrive to the restaurant at the time of my reservation, announce to the maitre d' that I have a reservation...the WRONG thing to say back to me is that "We've just sat our last table." That is NOT acceptable - I have a reservation - which I was not late for - there should be a table WAITING, or being prepared for my party.
So, my party of 4 ends up sitting at a round table, while a larger table (likely made for 4 ppl), is given to a cpl of two (2) ppl - 2 - NOT 4 - 2.
One person in my party was given a glass of water that had lipstick on it, which he had to ask for a new glass.
I think the next time I decide to take friends out for dinner in the neighborhood, we'll be exploring other options.
Wonderful quanit neighborhood restaurant - great service
I was visiting Atlanta and met with a friend for a late dinner. This is a small neighborhood restaurant, and the food far exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh. We started with the hummus plate and it was awesome. For my main course, I chose the Acorn Squash which was equally as tasty. Great place for a casual dinner.
Definite neighborhood gem. The food is always good, and the service is friendly but professional. I don't know where they get their baguettes, but they taste like they are made fresh and are a must-have to sop up the sauce/broth if you choose the mussels. The regular menu is excellent, but check the specials. And very creative cocktails...
Nice quiet lunch with my daughter. Nice music. Not crowded. Waitress was extremely nice!
I have always enjoyed this neighborhood restaurant. The handcrafted drinks here are great! Interesting combinations make for great taste! On this visit, the food was good but could have used a little more attention to detail. I had Chicken Piccata. The sauce made the dish but the chicken was a bit overdone for the size of the piece and the rice that accompanied was flat out bland...maybe use the rice as a base and add the tasty sauce over the entire dish? Overall it was good but could have been punched up a bit.
excellent food and service
very relaxed and artsy atmosphere
i truly loved the mussels
our waitress was outstanding in making recommendations and accommodating my dining partners request.
great for every day dining with excellent cocktails
An interesting place in an interesting neighborhood. We would go there again.
Highly recommend. We made reservations for a party of 6. Our table was held for us even though we got stuck in traffic. Staff could not have been friendlier. Went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Food was outstanding. Small menu, high quality. Will definitely go back many times.
Absolutely awesome experience. Got to talk to the owner who was a very energetic person and served us discussing all of the entities of the menu with personal experience. Best brunch I've been to in Atlanta
Met some friends from New York for dinner and enjoyed the experience. Food was good, and especially enjoyed the special of the day recommended by the waiter. Exposed brick ambience reminded me of New York Soho or Brooklyn Heights restaurant - great. Small downside was waiter took a little long in checking on us after the meal, but it was still good.
Fun neighborhood bistro. Would have rated excellent throughout but turkey sausage was not to my liking - my issue, not theirs. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return.
Server lost track of us several times when we were 1 of 3 tables in the whole establishment.
Ziba's offers scrumptious food, and attentive service in an upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. My friend and I made our reservation via Open Table. We were able to note on the reservation that we are both gluten free. The wait staff was prepared for us with excellent suggestions, and checked with the chef when answering our questions. It's pretty rare to find that level of service coupled with such truly excellent food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
We were pleased with our first experi nice at Zibas. The food was quite good, salads were great! I had the Bichon Frise cocktail which was large and done quite well. Mussels were plentiful and large, but the sauces were a bit too heavy on the cream, milk components for our taste. We did not expect the traditional white mussel broth to be a cream based soup! Taste was good, but even the Thai coconut milk was too heavy on the milk. You could definite split an order unless you're starving! Chicken piccata was good not great. Look forward to trying other dishes. Service was slow especially given the place was not crowded, but we were not in a hurry so it wasn't too annoying
Great restaurant. Excellent wine list. Typically go for brunch but had a nice dinner.
The Lexi Rita and Chicken Piccata were divine!
This was my first experience at Ziba's and it was GREAT! I will definitely be back soon!
Had a girls weekend dinner with 6 of us. Food was delicious and decently priced. Staff was attentive and friendly. Specialty cocktail seemed a bit pricey, and 'bottomless' wine was pushed just a bit too hard. Overall we had a very fine time. I would recommend this place for its ambiance (front doors open to street on this warm evening), excellent serving staff, and good food for the price.
Excellent as always! Great food, great service and their bottomless mimosa's are nice and strong! I love to bring new people here!
Had Sunday brunch there. Creative small menu. Food was very good but not great, primarily due to it had cooled a bit prior to getting to the table. If I were in walking distance, I'd be a regular and look forward to trying the full dinner menu some evening.
Ziba was a pleasant surprise. We had passed the location several time and decided to celebrate. The food was delicious - try the GA trout, smoked salmon and strawberry shortcake.
Cozy neighborhood restaurant.
Good portions
Fantastic menu, tasty food
Mainstay Grant Park restaurant. Service is just as fantastic as the meal! Always recommend.
Zibas is a wonderful neighborhood eatery as WELL as a great destination for folks coming into the Grant Park area. Zibas does not disapooint, from the food to the service it is truly a gem in Grant Park!
Get the mussels!!
Great little place. I would feel comfortable dining alone at the bar. Very nice staff and delicious empanadas! Good for a quiet date, friends dinner or catching up at the bar after work. Easy neighborhood parking.
