Wonderful meal! Visited with friends from out of town.
It is a quaint spot with side street parking. I had the branzino and it was excellent.
Excellent restaurant, really a hidden gem in Grant Park.
We were there to hear the bonaventure quartet
Omar are server was great. Made wonderful suggestions.
My husband and I went on a Saturday night at 7pm. It was quiet and not very busy. There’s a great
Seated right away. Menu had changed slightly and we were sad to see some favorites gone. But the food we ordered was delicious.
Food was excellent! I loved the appetizers and drinks. The music was great. People dancing and having fun. I totally recommend it.
We always come here for the mussels, so good. Charming little place.
My wife and I have been to this locale a few times and can definitely recommend it for the atmosphere, drinks, and especially the jazz. The music was absolutely wonderful. The only negative I have to add is a recommendation to avoid the kitchen. One of my favorite dinner dishes is chicken picatta. I tried that at Ziba's and was extremely disappointed. The dish served was chicken with a heavy cream sauce that was inedible even with a steak knife. It was served with rather flavorless rice. The next trip I decided to go with a "safe" food and ordered a bacon cheeseburger. I ended up picking out the "burger" and having a very expensive bacon cheese sandwich for dinner. The fries were good. I don't know what was in the burger or what it was seasoned with but it was simply awful. How can you screw up a cheeseburger?! Great place for drinks and music. Just eat before you go.
I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday dinner. We had the white mussels, whole fish, and chicken bow tie pasta and everything was delicious!
Food and service were excellent.
We went for the live jazz jam and were not disappointed!! Thanks for supporting live music!
Good atmosphere and service! Good menu! Food seasoned okay.
We had Christmas lunch at Ziba's. The service was amazing and the food was terrific! I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch, dinner, and they even have breakfast food at certain times. Wonderful place for excellent food and service!
Always love coming here. The food is delicious and I love having a place where there is both food and music. One of my favorites!
Love the live jazz music on Sunday nights!
Always enjoy this place. Quiet, friendly, great food!
Amazing food. Great service. Can’t wait to go back.
One of our favorite places. Always wonderful and the mussels are divine.
We had a very nice dining experience last Friday evening. The food was delicious, we had the spicy shrimp and burrata as appetizers. We chose the bow tie pasta with salmon as our entree and we were not disappointed. Our server, Victoria , was very nice and very helpful.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Great place, mussels rock, service spot on and comfortable hey grant park too!
Absolutely love this place. Is a hidden gem of Grant Park. Great ambiance, nice limited outdoor seating. We come here often and will continue to support them!
Ziba's is probably our favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is always delicious (recommend the empanadas and burrata appetizer, bowtie pasta, beet salad, and my new favorite, the turkey meatloaf! There's hardly ever a wait and I love going on Thursdays for $15 bottomless wine night! Ziba's is a true hidden gem!
Great service. Good food. Chill vibe.
Love Ziba’s! We eat in or take-out at least three to four times a month. Sunday nights are fun to eat at the restaurant bc they have live music. Great jazz! Great way to wind down the weekend!
Great food, family friendly, fabulous service. Perfect spot for a birthday dinner!
Classy Saturday night with great food and a live jazz band. Very fun. A little loud so maybe not great for conversation.
The Cuban band was fantastic! The singers were especially worth the trip.
Empanada - very good
Fried calamari- too salty almost inedible
Chorizo mussels- spiced just right very good
Had friends in from Panama and wanted them to enjoy Cuban music performed at Ziba’s. We all had a great time the music, food ,service and ambiance all wonderful. Can’t wait to next time.
Ziba's is my go-to place for everything from first dates to business lunches and networking brunches. Friendly accommodating staff, inviting atmosphere that inculdes music that enhances without distracting, and the food is always outstanding.
We get the mussels every time we go to Ziba's, and they've always been perfect. The service and drinks (specifically the lemony snicket [sp?]) have always been fantastic too.
Great little joint in Grant Park. Drinks, food and service were very good. There was a jazz band playing in the front, making it a little bit loud, but hey. I can see parking being a bit of an issue, but we got lucky on the street right around the corner.
We loved everything about Ziba’s Bistro. The mussels, calamari, hummus, and spicy shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband and I went on Saturday at 7:45 just before the live music began, with our 10 year old son. I was worried that the food would be too adventurous for him or that the music would be too loud, but he loved everything that we ordered and enjoyed the music too! The service was impeccable, and I look forward to dining here again.
Service is fast. Food is worth the value.
This is a great neighborhood spot. The food is good and very reasonably priced. Plenty of restaurants charge the same for much lower quality.
We came to hear the Kevin Oliver Jr. quartet. This was our first time to Ziba’s. The Flank Steak and the Avocado Salad were great! Be prepared to walk though. Parking is all street parking.
We love coming to this neighborhood gem. The atmosphere, friendly staff and food are the reasons we continue to call this a favorite.
Very good food. Love the cheese platter, bruschetta, and empanadas. The fish is great! Definitely a neighborhood gem.
The service was great. The food was not. The orders came out wrong but the server worked hard to correct things.
