Always great food.
They were out of my favorite dish but other dishes were good as usual. Its my go to for Persian.
It is located in a strip mall, but the decor inside masks that. The service was excellent as was the food, and nice large portions!!!
I called ahead to see if there was a special Valentines Day menu--they said no, but they raised
the entree prices by $4.00 ea, We ordered beef and chicken koobideh, and very dry this time.
This was our 3rd visit, and likely our last.
Very nice neighborhood Persian restaurant that I had not visited while being so close by. The kababs were delicious. Small place but very neat and clean. Authentic food. For Vege's I would recommend the Koko subzi w/ Salad.
My friends and I met at Ziba for lunch. The atmosphere was nice. The service was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was okay, tasty, but a little dry.
I was skeptical but was pleasantly surprised the restaurant had nice seating, quiet, very good food, excellent service and reasonable prices, I would go again
Very good food.
Best place to eat! Service is great and food is delicious.
Excellent food, wonderful ambience, and the service was outstanding. Dinner guests were quiet and respectful of others. This was a nice find for us.
My eldest son had been here before and loved it - so when he, his bro and I (Dad) went out for the evening this was our choice. An absolutely wonderful experience. With our reservations we were greeted with a smile and seated immediate/y. Their Saturday special was their Lamb Shank, it was Delicious, two very large shanks, but a bit less lamb I had hoped for - nonetheless a great entree... This entree was served with a heaping amount of vegetable rice - a wonderful taste in fact totally covered the shanks... So much rice I had plenty to take home - and of course included some lamb bits. My wife took it to work Monday - her coworkers loved the smell and better yet my wife loved the rice...
My sons choose the 'Combination Kabobs" and really enjoyed their meals... We all shared - their kabobs were great, but I thought my shank dish was over the top.
This is a hidden gem and we will definitely return - I suggest reservations as all tables were filled as a quaint little restaurant...
Ziba is a great neighborhood find. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will come back soon.
No obnoxiously loud music. Nicely decorated. The servers are super nice and attentive.
We came here on a weekday for lunch, when it is quieter.
The chicken is a bit on the dry side, but we enjoyed it as its nicely charred. My shish kabob is more of a medium well or well done instead of the medium that I ordered.
As for the hummus, I'm used to the ones that as a bit more tahini and lemon. But then again, its more like personal preference. The one they serve there is still good.
The portions are good size.
Amazing and Authentic Persian food.
The Lamb shank served only on Saturday was slow cooked for 8 hours. Fell off the bone rich flavor. The reasonable corkage allows for us to pair it with some cellared Pinot noir. The service was excellent . The salad was wonderful. We always finish with the rosewater ice and Safron ice cream paired with tea.
Wonderful !
Great place for Persian cuisine! Been there twice and I'm never disappointed.
Great food in a quiet little neighborhood spot. Will definitely be back.
Hidden gem in a strip mall! Quality food and prices aren't too high!
Would recommend again. Only thing I noticed was that the place seemed small.
Overall, though- good food, variety between spicy and non-spicy foods, decent wine list and good beer selection considerinf how small the place is! Service was good too- not hovering, not distant, just right.
Serving sizes are healthy but not overwhelming! Will visit again!
Excellent Koobideh and other kebabs. If eating on Saturday, make sure you get the Lamb Shanks (limited quantity). Service was very fast and friendly. Very nice dining experience.
Wanted to celebrate New Years dinner at a nice place with good food near home and see a belly dancing show.
We have been going to Ziba for years because we can always depend on having a great meal with good service. We've celebrated graduations there, taken friends, had family dinners, and it's always a great experience. The food is very fresh, and consistent.
If you want to have something for lunch the next day, try the salad Oliveh to go. It makes a great all-in-one meal, especially with a cup of hot tea. For dinner, their kabob combinations are amazing, and healthy dinner fare.
Nearby restaurant, nice and tasteful food. Service is kind of terse, but not rude. Food is good, preparation time is fair. Hummus appetizer was awesome.
Was there for lunch. The kabobs , the egg plant dish and the hummus were all excellent. Loved the rice too. Attentive service and was made to feel welcome. Would recommend.
Food tended to be on the bland side. Our server was more interested in her friends, who also were dining there.
Nice place. Very convenient. Very nice service. Odd location in a shopping mall, but inside is nice.
Came here for dinner with my wife and children. We were cheerfully greeted when we walked inside. It's a cute smaller restaurant with a nice classy, but casual. Good for family dinners or a business lunch. Menu is priced great considering the portion size we were given( we took boxes of leftovers home). The service was very pleasant and the young lady took the time to explain all that they offered and even recommend the eggplant dip which was the best we have had and I'm not even an eggplant fan. Wine list was a little small for my taste, but looked like a decent variety. My family and I were refreshingly surprised to have found this gem and will definitely be coming back shortly( hopefully with a larger appetite). Great food great service all smiles.
My wife and I dined here based on the fact that Ziba's menu is largely gluten free. A treat for my wife! Staff was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about gluten restrictions. My wife was particularly pleased that our server provided sliced cucumbers with our yogurt appetizer in lieu of bread. The appetizer with fresh mint, cheese and yogurt was delicious.
This was our first Persian dining "adventure", and we thoroughly enjoyed these tastes from another part of the world. Try the Saffron/Pistachio/Rose Water and Rose Water/Rice Noodle ice creams! Such an interesting and delectable combination of flavors!
Ziba is a great neighborhood restaurant. Overall we found the food delicious, but far from what our palettes prefer on a regular basis. We might return in the future, but Ziba won't be on our "regular" dining list.
We always enjoy Ziba. The food is good, the price is modest, and it is also a great option when you entertain friends, or business associates who keep Halaal.
Mediocre restaurant. Not worth visiting again.
Plates were not really appetizing. Servers looked very sad. Upon asked for their specialty hot sauce "tapatio ' was served.
Average setting.
We really enjoyed the food and the setting of the restaurant. The server assistant, server and the gentleman who brought out our food were all pleasant and accommodating. Will return.
Love Ziba Restaurant- the food is delicious, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and it's close to us!
We had a lovely dinner at Ziba. The fesenjoon was wonderful - the pomegranate flavor was delicious. The hummus and flatbread served with feta, mint and onion was delightful. Service was great. We will be back!
The food is reasonably priced but nothing special. We wouldn't bother crossing town to eat here again. We expected a quiet evening on a Monday, but there was only one other table filled in the restaurant. The service was dutiful but not friendly or enthusiastic in any way. There was no warmth here. The food isn't good enough to make up for poor atmosphere and a complete lack of personal care. I'm American, my husband is Iranian- both of us were disappointed.
Ziba is our go to place for a great meal and New Years Eve Dinner. I've already had many friends and co-workers visit Ziba's and they too love the food. We've had NYE dinner twice over the years and enjoy the belly dancing. Very family friendly as well.
Amazing food, great service. A wonderful gem. Will definitely go back!
My sister had just come from Iran and I wanted to treat her to Persian Food in the US. The waiter was very late taking the order and when he came to us, he relized he had not given us the menu. The chicken was tasteless full of lemon juice. seemed like frozen. Rice also had watery taste.
Excellent service...we hadn't been there before. Our waiter was very helpful with recommendations, and assistant was very attentive with water refills and clearing our table timely, both very personable and made for an enjoyable meal. We'll be back.
We came in, it's was a Saturday lunch, restaurant was quiet, but the smells were amazing. We were greeted right way, service was very good. I think we were the first patrons of the day, but then the restaurant started to fill up. We ordered the lamb with dill rice(only on Saturdays and amazing) and the combo kabob. The chicken was seasoned well and the beef was super juicy and flavorful. The young lady was very nice and answered all of our question. They made sure waters and sodas were always filled. Be sure to save room for dessert, they make home made saffron which was amazing!
We regularly eat at Ziba, and we have always been happy with our meals. I especially like their kebabs. My favorites are the kubideh, both beef and chicken. We also really like their hummus, which tastes freshly made, and their wonderful desserts.
In terms of the restaurant itself, it's nicely decorated, always clean, and has easy to find restrooms. It's a very comfortable place to eat truly fabulous Middle Eastern food.
I went for lunch with a friend. The place is in the back of the mall. It was quiet. The server showed up right away. I am a vegetarian. There were a couple of choices for me. I felt the food lacked any spice the portion size was huge. But my friend said his wrap was excellent.
