I just wanted to share what a fantastic experience we had dining at Zesty. We ordered several appetizers to share—Saganaki, Octopus, and the Greek spread—and each one was flavorful and beautifully presented. For me, it was the first time ordering lamb (Arni Souvlaki), and it did not disappoint. The flavor was rich and well-balanced, and the meat was incredibly tender. What made the evening even more special was that one of our friends is originally from Greece, and even he was thoroughly impressed by the food and ambiance. He also looked over the wine list and found the selection of Greek wines to be very impressive. Adding to the charm of the night, the restaurant provided live entertainment with a band playing traditional Greek music. It really elevated the entire experience and added an authentic touch that made us feel like we were transported to Greece for the evening. Overall, Zesty delivered a memorable night filled with great food, music, and atmosphere.

Zesty's is a 5-star experience! We went as a family and have been talking about the evening ever since. Be ready for a night out; the food was delicious. Our family of eight started with the Greek spreads and Saganaki, which was out of this world. For our mains, we had the gnocchi, ravioli, crab cakes, and the Moussaka, which had an unbelievable taste; we all had to try a bit of it. Our reservation was around 7:15 pm. By 8 pm, the music was in full force, and the whole restaurant was shouting "Opa!" as the singing started, with those at their tables and at the bar getting up to dance. Chef Tom came by many times to check in and brought life and laughter to our table. They mentioned that some staff would be calling out that evening, but we would never have known. Our waitress was delightful and funny, and we left feeling like we had a fantastic meal at a restaurant filled with new friends. Zesty's is top of our list for a great night out!

Food was fantastic and Tom, the owner , was a delight. He visited our table many times during the course of the evening. The noise level on Saturday night was high due to a fabulous trio and Greek dancing . This was not just a great meal, it was a totally entertaining and great fun!!!

Consistently excellent. We have been going for 25+ years and every meal is great. Tom (owner) cooks, prepares, while also greeting and socializing... and has a heart of gold. The food is always fresh and the whole fish...the best. Not surprising the staff has tenure w/ Tom and are wonderful as well. Love The Zesty!!!

Service was very slow. Food was poor as the lamb was overcooked and chewy, the rice genuinely tasted like Uncle Ben’s, and the vegetables were very bland. The aesthetic of the restaurant is really bizarre, the seats are church benches, they have these large overcrowded fish tanks with these huge fish bashing into the class and fighting one another, it’s a surreal experience. My wife also tells me that the toilet was rancid and needs to be refurbished. Honestly, do not understand the positive reviews of this place at all. Was very disappointing and cost $100+ for 2 people…

We had a perfect evening at Zesty's. It had been years since the last time we had dinner there. We were not disappointed. Everything was great: Food - Chilean Sea Bass/Crab Cakes & Yellow Fin Tuna; Live Band, Service and a lovely "chat" with the owner, Athanassios or Tom. We were having such a great time - we stayed for after dinner drinks and dessert - which we usually don't do. Zesty's is our new go-to in Manayunk.

Outstanding food in a fun setting. Wait staff were very personable and friendly although on a very busy day efficiency was a bit uneven at times. The food from appetizers and soup through the main courses and dessert were outstanding. Lamb chops were done perfectly, tender and very tasty. We will be back! Thank you for helping us celebrate this special day.
