It took a little longer then usual to get our food due to a busier evening then expected. However, the food, mixed drinks, and service was excellent. Enjoyable evening!
Great service!!! Would certainly recommend. The food was good. Our server was fantastic.
We went to Zesti's on a weekday evening early. Everything was very nice. Had the salmon special--excellent and pork chop which was very good also. Will return.
The food was delicious and it was nice to be able to have a conversation over the course of our meal. The recommendation from the waitress on food was spot on...the ravioli with blue crab was fresh and creative as well as delicious. My friend enjoyed her calzone so much she forgot about dipping it in the sauce! :) We took advantage of doing 1/2 salads which was not on the menu but allowed us to try some different flavor combos. I tried the kale salad with roasted brussels and will be ordering that again in the future.
I would love to see some creative mocktails options offered with the drink menu!
Amazing food and great environment. A little surprised that the servers/ staff weren't wearing masks but otherwise a great experience.
Zesti is amazing! Great food and very friendly staff. Surprised to see staff was not wearing masks (April 13,2021)
The pandemic is not over, folks! Unfortunately, I won’t be back until it is safe.
Another great meal at Zesti. Small crowd on a Sunday night (so quieter than usual) while service was great and food excellent. Can’t wait for warmer weather and open window/outdoor dining!
Zesti is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious. The drinks are amazing. The staff, especially Kayla (sp?) are very attentive.
Our waitress timed out our appetizers and entree perfectly. Food was good but sadly the entrees were cold. Our service was great. Cocktails were great. The hostess and servers were not wearing masks, so if that matters to you, this might not be the place for you at this time.
Food was excellent as was the wine. Service was outstanding. Will definitely be back.
We went Friday night after church with another couple. The food is always good but, even though they weren’t terribly busy, we did have to wait too long for our initial round of drinks as well as our refills.
Good Food but I think I’ll wait for the doors to open when it’s warmer. It was realllly loud in the dining room.
Excellent food as always!
Fabulous food and service. Noise level is very high.
Excellent food. Delicious mixed drinks. Outstanding service.
This was by far the best meal we have ever had at Zesti! Your chef was on point last night! Everything was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. There wasn't a morsel left on any of our plates. Wow!
Elana was an excellent server!!! The food was great, but I was a little disappointed that I mentioned it was my daughter’s birthday and it went unnoticed!
Zesti is a great spot in Hartland. The food is amazing and I’ve never been disappointed!
The food was good, but the service was super slow compared to how many tables there were (not many). I got the crab ravioli which tasted super good, but there were only 4 ravioli, three shrimp and it said it came with asparagus which was literally one piece of asparagus cut into four tiny pieces. Really disappointing.
Excellent food, drinks & service
Fantastic food!!! The braised short rib pasta special was outstanding. The duck fell off the bone, perfectly cooked. Outstanding service!
All was very good!
We were quite disappointed with our whole experience at Zesti this past Saturday note. We made a reservation for our party of 6 that had had to be adjusted to a later time because we were told they don’t accept groups of that size until after 7- so we adjusted our reservation to be the earliest they allowed at 7:15. We arrived on time only to wait 30 minutes to be seated while we had a drink at bar while another 6 party walk-in was seated ahead of us :(. Then our service was extremely slow the entire time after seated... our order of appetizers were serviced 25 minutes after being seated and our ordered cocktails even after that... meal was ok but by the time they asked for dessert, we had been so upset we didn’t want to order our birthday desserts there because they were so unaccomodating at this point when they knew we were there to celebrate my birthday! We left to go elsewhere to have dessert and after dinner cocktails :(
Zesti is a favorite of ours because the menu has a lot of variety, and the food is outstanding. I am hooked on the Spaghetti Bolognese though. We love the fact that when the weather is nice, they open the entire front of the restaurant with those garage door windows that roll up and away. Their servers, bartenders, hostesses, etc. are always friendly, polite and energetic, knowledgeable as to the menu and specials. The only issue with Zesti is that it is very, very loud throughout the space. I know that they have tried to add buffering on the ceiling, and curtains in a few spaces, but I would not go here for anything romantic, or with a large group where you would be far away from someone you wanted to have a conversation with, or at least hear what they are saying. I would recommend that if you have not been here yet, there's no reason for you to not go and try it! Really, it's a great place to spend an afternoon or evening with someone you like, being treated well, and eating food that is so good your mouth waters just thinking about it!!
Typically have a very good experience at Zesti, really enjoy the ambience and staff is friendly and attentive. Food has slipped a bit based on our last couple visits.
4 of us ate here last Friday night. Their Caesar salad is my favorite in the lake country; there’s bacon and onion strings on it, and the dressing is tangy the lasagna, and a pasta/ mushroom/ spinach special that was so good we all ate a bit of it. The service was as excellent as the food, & I look forward to dining here again next week!
The food was very good, nice combination of flavors. The super salad was fantastic, would come back for that alone. Keep up the great work.
Our server, Kayla went way above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! We love Zesti!
Service was A-1, food was mostly good, noise level grew pretty high as tables filled. Not a place for intimate dinner conversation.
Always great there.
Service was great but food was average.
We made we sat about 2 feet from the table next to us. We asked for another table and were sat at a table right by the front door. Several people were standing by our table, without masks, waiting for their table or takeout. We left. They would not accommodate social distancing.
Amazing food !!!! Our waitress was amazing! Drinks were super good!!
Food was outstanding. Sat at a high table next to windows, was cold as draft was blowing in through cracks. Would try this place again but at a different seat.
Zesti is a great restaurant to visit with friends. The service is outstanding and the food never disappoints. I had the ravioli and loved it. The crab was perfect and the fresh pasta was amazing!
Had a 6:00 p.m. reservation on a Saturday night in early February. In my reservation, I had specifically requested a "Standard" table rather than a "High Top". When we arrived, the hostess directed us to a High Top and I asked for a change. There were at least two "2-tops" in the main dining room that were empty. I pointed specifically to one, and was told that was "reserved". I told her I had a reservation also. She told me they had to "balance" the server tables (I guess the customer was not a priority). Note the one table "reserved" arrived 30 minutes later at 6:30. The other table was not seated during the time we had dinner.
It was below zero that night and we were seated on the wall facing the outside. Chilly. Fortunately, my wife had worn a sweater. When we sat down, the table was wobbly and clearly out of balance, so once again I went over to the hostess. The hostess came over and put something under the leg to better balance it. By this time, my wife was putting her coat on and walking to leave she was so upset. I convinced her it would be no fun trying to fine another place on a Saturday night during dinner time. We agreed to stay.
The server arrived and told us that 3 of the pasta dinners were not available that evening (two of the choices were on my list to be my dinner choice).
Cocktail was $14 (no call brand) which I thought was a bit expensive for Lake Country.
What we were able to finally order was good. The rest of the night was uneventful.
We have been to Zesti's before and enjoyed the meal. Maybe this was an exception - maybe just a bad night - I hope so because we came away very disappointed in the way we were treated.
We had no problem getting in for a 7:00pm weekday reservation on a cold winter night. The staff is very friendly and the service is prompt. My Zesti's Old Fashion with Woodford Reserve Bourbon was very good. My wife had the house Pinot Noir (Story Point)which was drinkable at best; maybe uncorked over to many days? The entrée's were delivered hot and were the perfect comfort food on a cold evening.
First time, great food and Brad the bartender did a great job. Hope I have his name right. Will be back.
This place is DYNAMITE!!!! If you are a foodie, it is a MUST!!! Thank you for a great experience, we will be back soon!
Very enjoyable dining experience. Everything on the menu looks great and is very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. Doesn't make any difference what you order in that every dish is well prepared and very tasty.
