I’m happy to pay handsomely for quality food.
To me the food is overpriced for the quality.

The food is always really tasty and the ambient is okay. The gluten free options are great - maybe more varied than at other restaurants. The meals are actually pretty big, and prices acceptable.

The only thing that is slightly putting me off is the importance of the customer, which is a little bit overlooked. We had our meal there just after my husband asked me to marry him, and we went there for our first year of marriage celebration. I do not usually expect treats for free, but all other restaurants usually give out at least a slice of cake for the couple to share, as a compliment. This never happened here. It might be because they try to keep the prices low - and they do do that, the prices are acceptable; it's just that all other restaurants seem to give a slightly better experience when it comes to very important life events.

Anyway, maybe it's just me.

I am European and have traveled to Italy quite a bit. Food is quite close to Italian food, it is light, even if you don't pick the lightest ingredients.

Amazing food from the sea! The halibut crevice was as great as any we ate in Lima, understandable as the owner/manager is from that city. My black cod, my husband's scallops, both top drawer.

The food was surprisingly excellent. While the menu seems to cater to everyone's taste, the items we order from the daily specials were absolutely outstanding, Great flavor, well prepared and presented. The staff worked hard to make sure that we were satisfied. Appealed to all ages and all occasions, as promised.

First time visiting this restaurant and we found the food to be good...but not outstanding. Portions were very generous and service was friendly and quick. Prices seemed to be reasonable with a menu that provided choices for all diners.

Antique, homely feel - a fantastic spot for any occasion. The fresh menu had a particularly good variety of dishes. The pork chop I had was done to perfection!

We were so pleased with everything. We took our daughter and her boyfriend there for their 20th birthdays. The servers were lovely , the food was fantastic and the ambiance was great. The only problem with the menu is that everything sounds so good it's hard to decide. The scallops were amazing!!my Italian husband really liked the spaghetti and meatballs. Win win at this restaurant!!

Absolutely amazing! Went for dinner with friends and it was something we will never forget. Service was adequate but the food more than made up for any complaints. All four of us sampled each other's dinners and we were all jealous of what the other had. Decent wine list and the coconut prawn appetizer was delicious. Only complaint is we live three hours away and can't go more often!

Two work associates and me met at the restaurant to discuss business needs. We talked over a drink for about 30 minutes before ordering. The waitress, who was fantastic, dealt with this very professionally. She made sure we were not waiting for her, while at the same time did not hover over us. She was prompt, helpful, and extremely pleasant. She also had a great sense of humor.

The food...excellent! I had the halibut and I must say that it was probably one of the best halibut dishes I have ever had...and I eat halibut a lot. My two work associates really enjoyed their dishes as well.

I often eat at Zesta Cucina and I have always been very please. The only downside is the noise. It can be quite loud...but the food is worth it.

Well rounded menu with something for every taste. Both of our meals were well prepared and well portioned. Beautiful decor! The white lights on all of the birch trees made for a special ambience.

Visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this place by looking online for dining options close by to where we were staying. All I can say is amazing food, excellent service and wonderful decor very romantic and intimate! The food was very expertly prepared and delicious! It's hard to find an Italian food style restaurant that offers choices that haven't been commercialized, the menu offered a great variety of pasta dishes along with chicken seafood and steak entrees that all sounded amazing. I had the seafood risotto my wife had the shrimp fettuccine( full of seafood)and kids also ordered chicken fettuccine which was all so fresh and hit the spot from our traveling and having to eat fast food! This was a gourmet eating experience and we finished our plates but wished we could've taken it home too we also had the tiramisu for dessert also very good and tasty! Thank you Zesta Cucina for a great experience and wonderful food!

Zesta was really good for TOLO and the food was fantastic (and the people were even better!!). The interior was very pretty and elegant and we were seated in a room only with other people who had reservations. Top notch service.

It's a busy place which brings lots of noise. Upstairs is the way to go if you want an easier time conversing. The ambiance works for casual dining as well as semi-formal. Local wines are served. The crab cakes are delicious. Overall, pricing is a bit high on the adult menu but the kids' menu is extremely well-priced. It's a great special occasion place to dine and is definitely on the must-experience list for Yakima.

My husband had the Waygu beef special and it was absolutely worth the $49.00 price tag. It was tender, well seasoned, and a decent serving size. I had the scallop special, and while they were tasty, I feel there should be more than 4 scallops and some sauce. A large serving of vegetables would have been a great addition.

Very little by way of GF options, and even less in terms of vegetarian. Service wasn't terrible; up to Yakima standards. The food is basic. The only reason to go here is for the bar atmosphere, and because there are not a lot of restaurant choices in Yakima. Other bars in the area are kind of scary--with pat downs at the door---but Zesta feels very safe.

We would defiantly recommend this restaurant to others for a special occasion. This was a very special evening and we will be back for sure!
