Zesta Cucina Ratings and Reviews
We enjoyed another wonderful dinner at Zesta Cucina. Thanks Lucho and company for offering Yakima a great place to meet business associates and/or friends for lunch and dinner. You have great rooms available for family occasions or business meetings. I like your wine menu as well. We enjoyed a great bottle of Browne Family Vineyards Cab with dinner. All the guest I bring or meet here love it and say they will be back. Ciao.
This is about my 12th visit. And, Zesta Cucina has been 12 for 12 Perfect!
It's my "Go To Choice" for Special Occasions; and, for when I have good friends in from out of town.
On at least half the occasions, the Owner has greeted our group with "Zesta", his namesake.
The food has always been tasty, plentiful and high quality. It's amazing that one restaurant can do steaks, seafood and Italian dishes with equal expertise! I love the diversity; as do my friends.
As usual, I wrote my Thank You, in crayon, on the heavy paper tablecloth. I believe the Instant Recognition is valuable.
Fish tacos were very good. I usually go for the goat cheese pizza or the wood plank salmon. Festively decorated for the holidays. Sadly, they are no longer open on Sundays so I don't go there as often as I used to. It was our regular go-to-dinner place on Sundays, as it was for many of our friends.
We are regular diners at Zesta Cucina though it had been almost two months since our last visit. We have always relied on Zesta for good food and good service. However the food was exceptionally good last Friday. The Sweet Potato Bisque was delicious. We enjoyed Parmesan Encrusted Halibut and Cedar Planked Salmon, both perfectly prepared. The Berry Crumble we shared for dessert was more favorable than in the past. All in all an excellent dining experience.
We are so happy that Zesta's is located on the West side of Yakima and enjoys what appears to be a very healthy business. The service is always great (love you, Greg!) and the food is always good. We enjoy seeing friends and neighbors and enjoy the atmosphere, whether you are there for a special occasion or just a night out when you don't feel like cooking. Love the seasonal menus and extensive WA wine list as well.
I had the pork chop special off of the fall menu insert and it was prepared perfectly. The roasted potatoes and fruit chutney were absolutely delicious and I would definitely order it again. Our server Greg was charming, attentive, and efficient in his service.
I brought an of state business associate and her coworker here for a business meeting over dinner. They are both picky eaters but loved the food and atmosphere. It was very busy that night for dinner so reservation were great to have. It was a bit noisy for my level of comfort but that's what happens when you have good food, beverages and happy diners. 👍
This was our first time in Yakima and we ended up at Zesta Cucina by pure luck. It was an outstanding find. The restaurant is nicely decorated and romantic. Our server was extremely pleasant and attentive without being over bearing. My wife had scallops that were melt in your mouth delicious. I had a parmesan encrusted halibut that was excellent. Both entrees were only $25 which, visiting from California, is a great deal for seafood. We will definitely be back. GREAT job Zesta Cucina!!!
I always look for three things: good food being first, good service (which can make or break the best of them), and good atmosphere. Zesta Cucina had most of those qualities however we had unfortunate timing-- babies and young children (screaming and crying) were also there. Usually a lack of good acoustics can make a restaurant seem vibrant, but unfortunately it magnified the noise and assaulted the ears. Had we dined a bit later that night it would've ranked one of the best!
