   Our server was amazing and took very good care of us. Food was excellent. Can not fault anything :)

   It was a lovely Valentine's dinner with old friends. Just an underwhelming one. Service was very slow, and fairly inattentive. The food was hit and miss. I was crazy disappointed with the ginger beer. The veggie sushi roll was wonderful. The fruit roll, meh. Both overpriced, like fruit and veggies equate to high end real sushi. Miso soup - good. The Thai Curry, fantastic. Would I recommend it? Yes, give it a try. Rave about it? No.

   My daughter is vegan so when we have a girls' night, we go to Zest. I like that I can enjoy the food too and the desserts are fantastic! The service has always been great: friendly and informative but never pushy. I'll be going back!

   I have been to Zest a few times and this last time was disappointing. Our waitress was not very attentive. I had to keep asking for stuff and when my mother was in the process of asking questions about the menu, the waitress walked off. I can only attribute it that she must have not heard my mother. The food this time was less than adequate; I am assuming maybe problems in the kitchen that evening. Every other time I have eaten at Zest it has been amazing! The food and the service. But this time was very disappointing. It made a very bad first impression on my mother who had never been there and vouched never to return....hopefully our next experience won’t be the same.

   Zest was part of a perfect evening. Their attention to detail was over the top. I've dined in every major city in the U.S. and Zest makes me proud to live in the SLC area

   I had a friend visiting for Sundance Film festival, so we went to Zest before a movie at the SLC Library. She had the Irish stew, and I had the Thai Sunrise. Both were fabulous! The combination of fresh ingredients and layers of flavors were incredible. I cannot wait to go back!

   I have been gluten and dairy free for going on 10 years now, and have been vegan (and even raw) for a portion of that time. So, I've tried a LOT of different "alternative" foods and restaurants. While I thought it was FANTASTIC to be able to order anything off of the menu that I wanted, without having to make special requests or feeling limited, the food itself was.. just ok. It was good for being vegan and gluten free. That said, I feel like it should just be *good food*, with no caveats. And unfortunately, it wasn't... Don't get me wrong, it is definitely good *for being vegan and gluten free*, but don't be fooled into thinking you are getting "just good food." You can definitely tell it's alternative. Warn your gluten, dairy and meat eating friends beforehand ;)

    Love this place, the food is amazing! Best kept secret in town. I love that all the food available is vegan and that they don't use refined sugar.
