Zero Otto Nove, Armonk
Outstanding food and service. The daily specials are exceptional and we now wait to hear them before perusing the menu.
We were at the restaurant an hour and they asked us to move to a different table because they needed to accommodate a party of 10. We had completed our meal but we’re going to have desert so we accommodated the request begrudgingly. So we had desert and coffee and they came over and asked us to move again because they had 300 reservations (like our reservation did not count). They asked us to go the bar and have desert and drink. Not realizing we had desert already. We got irate and the boss came over and told us we did not have to move. What a horrible way to treat people on Mother’s Day. ( this is one I will never forget). I made this reservation 1 month ago when I realized I was going to be in NY and wanted a very special Mother’s Day well it was special because of very rude staff and manager.
Kid friendly. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Atmosphere- good for families. Food was very good.
Neighborhood gem, great atmosphere, amazing food...something for everyone. We go all the time!
The food was excellent but it was ridiculously loud. I went at 8pm on a Friday night. My sister and I were meeting up with cousins we hadn’t seen in years and it was difficult trying to catch up when we were practically having to scream to hear each other. The wait staff could be more attentive...especially at the end of the meal when there were only two tables left in the dining room and the waitstaff was nowhere to be found. Ossobucco special wasn’t as tender as it should have been, but we all enjoyed our meals.
Always a great meal. Best pasta dishes I have ever had anywhere. Service is excellent and menu is extensive. Plenty to choose from and specials are always amazing.
Business lunch. My customers raved about their meals. Definitely will be back!
I hate going out for dinner on Sunday night but these friends really wanted to go out. I was so pleasantly surprised by the “chill” ambiance, fantastic menu and even better, excellent eggplant parmigiana!! My favorite food.
Popular restaurant even at 6:30 PM with what looked to be a full house. Excellent menu with a lengthy list of specials. All four in our party loved their meals and the portions were so generous that we had "take home". Our server was excellent
Wonderful as always!!!
Food and service were, as always, excellent. Soft shell crabs terrific and pastat specials are always outstanding. The only drawback is the noise level which makes it hard to have a conversation if you are seated in the middle of the room. Tables on the outside edge are quieter.
The food was awesome and very different nd the service was great. Noone told htem it was my birthday but they saw me opening my presents and sang anyway. Very nice and will definintelyr eturn
All of the food was excellent. I would drive the 40 minutes again to eat here. The service was excellent as well.
This was the first time at your Armonk Restaurant. I usually go to your Arthur Avenue Restaurant which I love and prefer.
Your Armonk Restaurant has NO ambiance. Nothing that would say that I was in an Italian Restaurant.
We happened to go to Armonk because of Restaurant Week so the food was adequate at best.
My entree was not hot and you served the 3 courses too fast. We were out of there in less than an hour.
I would not come back to Armonk. If I go to your restaurant, I'll stop my Arthur Avenue.
Really enjoyed the food and the service...... very noisy on a Friday night though
Outstanding experience all around. Went for lunch during Restaurant Week. Great value during HVRW.
It must have been trainee night in the kitchen. Seafood appetizer arrived with overcooked calamari and overcooked shrimp. Veal main course contained tough slabs of veal - sliced to be thin, rather than pounded thin - coved by a thick, rubbery slab of lukewarm cheese lying in a bland overly sweet alleged port wine sauce. The dessert profiteroles had their ice cream innards melted some time between preparation and delivery.
Sorry folks. None of these dishes should have left the kitchen.
a winner for Restaurant Week, full portion sizes of all three courses, perfect service and not too loud on a Wednesday night; look forward to returning again soon.
Excellent choice for restaurant week.
The veal and the risotto dishes were excellent.
Food and service were wonderful!!
We were there once before. We like it - the food is good. However, notwithstanding having had a reservation, we had to wait which doesn't make you feel espoecically great to start the evening. They seem to over -book.
The entire experience was Excellent as always!!! Great Super Tuscan too!!
First timer. I wish I could give it a 3 1/2 star! I Started with LaCirillo pizza which had butternut squash purée mushrooms and truffle. It was DELICIOUS! One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Also ordered an eggplant and zucchini parmigiana which was sweet and tasty. I was very excited to taste their pasta bolognese which was one of their specials. It arrived in a foil pouch. It was described by the waiter as having pork and beef so I was expecting a thick sauce. It was very disappointing. It tasted like regular pasta, and you could hardly see any meat in the sauce, mostly carrots. Not what typical Bolognese looks like. After having the pasta Bolognese, I was craving meat since there really wasn't any, so I ordered meatballs. Those were good, served in a bowl of sauce as requested. I loved everything, except the pasta, hence the 3 stars. The chicken scarpariello that was at the table next to me looked great. I wished I had ordered that. Next time I will!
Our dinner with friends this past Wednesday was marred by inattentive and dismissive service and improperly prepared dishes. Our waiter seemed rushed and annoyed when we asked him to slow down and repeat the long list of "specials". We were not interested in the Restaurant Week menu and chose from the a la carte offerings. The steak with eggplant and sweet pepper topping was served without the peppers and eggplant. When we finally got our waiter's attention, he at first argued that this was not the case, but after demonstrating the lack of these items he said that he would get some from the kitchen! Fifteen minutes later they showed up and of course were not involved in the preparation of the dish. My rigatoni with meatballs and prosciutto was overcooked. Our eggplant and zucchini appetizer was excellent. We asked to speak with the manager who apologized and offered us complimentary desserts, which was appreciated. However, this restaurant was half empty and the food served was not up to the relatively high prices charged. We cannot recommend Zero Otto Nove until the management takes their food preparation and service to their customers seriously.
A good time was had by all. It was restaurant week and the selections were numerous. We all ordered from that menu.
Always an excellent culinary experience. I Never hesitate to introduce or recommend friends to the restaurant
Out otherwise delicious meal was spoiled by our surly waiter who chose to argue with us rather than replace a dish of vegetables that didn’t arrive at our table as described in the menu. Most of the wait staff was gathered in a bunch and talking and ignoring the customers and we had to interrupt their conversation when we had an issue. Wake up management. This is no way to run a restaurant.
I visit the one in the Bronx often. I liked this one as well and a lot easier to get to in you live in the Burbs.
We've dined here as a couple, and with friends. It's much quieter during the week, quite loud the Fri night we dined with another couple. The food is terrific, high quality, interesting choices, and very well prepared. Portions are generous. The bartender makes great cocktails. On both occasions we found the service attentive and timely: water glasses were kept filled, utensils replaced as needed, extra plates provided for seafood shells, or for sharing. This last time, both couples opted to share salads, and our servers provided separate plates and apportioned the servings out for each diner. I particularly enjoyed the risotto pescatore on my latest visit. My friend was delighted with her orrechiette with broccoli rapa. The veal shank special was a hit with another of our party. And we highly recommend the side of escarole with capers and anchovies. We also love the Italian cheesecake-type dessert pastry… light, flaky, delicious. Will definitely keep returning.
My wife and I love coming here for the food. The Radiatori pasta in tin foil remains a must try. So is the Octopus, super tender and flavorful which most places do’t manage to accomplish. Worth the 45 min drive.
Good service and good food. A nice ambience but maybe more for families then for date night. Noise level is up there...
1. We were given someone elses appetizers
2. We ordered a bottle of red wine which was the cheapest wine on the menus and was told that there were only 2 bottles left
3. We ordered the special Veal Osso Buco and was told you had no more!!!!
4.The entrees had no vegetable or potato with it
I never left a negative review in my life but for the prices you charge I would expect some sort of standard when anyone goes out to eat.
My overall experience was very good and the food was excellent! My only complaint is that the wait staff is very aggressive with getting you to order and interrupting conversations when they can clearly see that our menus were still open. We felt pressured to order dessert ASAP because 3 people asked us within 5 minutes of each other for our order. It was 10pm and there were a bunch of open tables and tables still hanging around drinking wine, eating and talking. It was annoying to our group to continually get interrupted when we were all trying to catch up we felt rushed.
Great food and service. Sp coals sounded great but we ordered from the menu anyway since it is so deep and delicious.
Great service and food. One of my favorite on my list.
Been here a handful of times in the past, always excellent food and service. Came here last night for Valentine’s Day, made a reservation a week in advance. They sat us by the kitchen and bathroom, and the tables for two “just for Valentine’s Day” were pretty much designed for a 5 year old. It was almost impossible to fit our meals and drinks on the same table plus their center pieces. I expected a bit more but oh well.
Food and ambiance was great! Love Zero Otto Nove.
Great food, great service, a wonderful experience. Roberto does not disappoint.
The drinks were fantastic, pizza very good, steak was amazing, the rest of our dinner was ok to good. Overall I thought it was overpriced and debated with my family as to whether it was good enough to go back.
