Terrible service. The brand new waiter struggled with every step of service - no help with food selection at all, did not offer parmesan with meals until we were half way through eating, and 5 minutes after taking our plates from the table, asked if we wanted "boxes" for our food. Really? Where were our plates?
We always enjoy Zeppole and consider it one of the better on-site hotel restaurants we patronize. Great quality Italian. There is a nice ambience that includes the sound of water from fountains, nice lighting, etc.
Food was good. Service was as expected, at your side when you needed them. With today’s working climate, that is exceptional!
Noise level, with a half empty restaurant, was a little loud. Conversations were tough to hear at times.
Overall experience was very good.
Outstanding food! Fun experience
Steak was tasty and Hailey was wonderful That sums it up
Zeppole had great food. We had a brick oven pizza that they customized with white sauce, and Butter-squash Risotto with shrimp. Both our dishes were delicious. Our cocktails were wonderful as well. We split a cheesecake, which we devoured in its white vanilla sauce. Service was good but they were very busy and it was on the slower side for service. The waitstaff was very nice and knowledgeable, but seemed overwhelmed with allot of tables. We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday…and we’re there two hours in all. We would definitely return.
great food, fast service - our waitress was fabulous!
It was excellent!!
Food was very good. Had 2 grandkids and they ate all their food as well.
Service was excellent. Attentive and extremely helpful. Our appetizer was amazing and the wine paired perfectly with the entire meal. A bit noisy, but it's in the atrium of a hotel so not unexpected. Again, the staff and the food were wonderful and we will go there again
Perfect environment for a celebratory dinner. We will absolutely return!
Food was a solid 9/10. Kept the bread and drinks coming, even while a little short staffed. Fantastic experience 10/10 there would love to go again.
We had the best experience at Zeppole and our server, Lexi, was fantastic! The entire staff was great. We had the Verlasso Salmon, Butternut Squash Risotto, Frito Misto, and two drinks (Italian Margarita and Gladiator). We were highly impressed, they have gluten free bread and pasta as well for those like myself. We will be going back for sure!
What a gorgeous restaurant!!! And service was impeccable!
Rather expensive for the meal.
The lasagna was very bland and disappointing indeed.
Definitely will avoid when next at the Gaylord.
Awful food. Bland and zero taste. Prices are high which is ok if the food was decent. Average service but I’m sure they are struggling with getting help.
Not sure why it doesn’t get more stars from people. They have changed the menu so maybe that is the reason. Food was AMAZING! Would highly recommend the Antipasto Cage, Salmon and Chicken Marsala. So delicious! One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to!
Food was expensive and bad. My wife and I didn't finish. Service was excellent.
Great place to eat wonderful food
Great service. Nice selection of entrees. Wonderful desserts!
Food and experience was amazing. Great date night or family dinner.
The service and food itself was incredible. Wife and I went for our honeymoon and received wonderful service. When they say fresh ingredients they meant it!
Great night for a girls night 50th celebration.
Everything was wonderful
Food was amazing would go back
The chef made a new preparation of salmon while we were there. It was outstanding. Our server was top notch.
I love Zeppole... we were introduced to it by the bartender who is a friend of ours and we were NOT disappointed! The appetizers are AWESOME... honestly, my wife and I go for the experience, the wine, and the appetizers. We get so full that we rarely get an entree!
Staff was amazing, setting was very enjoyable, made it easy for me to order gluten free since I am gluten intolerant and overall great experience!!
I was a bit disappointed as I made reservations in advance for my friend's birthday dinner. We were put in the bar which was noisy and not at all the atmosphere I expected. I even specified on the reservation that it was for a special occasion. There were other tables available so not sure why they would think it was ok to sit us in the bar area.
Great Food. Friendly Service. We loved it. Be sure to reserve your table.
Service was great! I had the lasagna and it was delicious. My husband had the lobster mac and cheese and that was great too. We also really enjoyed the ambiance. It was our 10th anniversary and they brought us a dessert on the house to celebrate. We had a wonderful time!
The service Lexi provided was beyond amazing.
The restaurant is chic. The service was great. The food was terrible. From the bread all the way through. They even managed to do buttered noodles for my kid poorly. Now, I will say the martini was good, but not good enough to forget that meal…. Way overpriced for the quality of ingredients and cuisine. Sorry.
Very good food. Loved the calamari appetizer. We loved the sangria as well.
It was our 38th anniversary. Our server Ty was absolutely the best. He made our visit even that much better. The food was incredible. We had the spaghetti and meatballs. Pasta and the meatballs were perfect. Almost as good as moms but pretty close. The surprising part was that we are ambassador with Marriott and Ty brought out the tower of cheese and veggies. Again thank you to Ty for making our special night even that much more special. Hats off to Zeppole.
Visited on Labor Day weekend and it was very busy at the Gaylord Texan. Ambience was enjoyable. Service was slower then compared to one of the other hotel restaurants (Old Hickory Steakhouse). Bread did not come with olive oil or butter as the other tables had. Did not care for the lasagna as it seemed like just meat and cheese. Husband had the carbonara pasta which he liked but the poached egg yolk was not runny as he expected. Spumoni gelato was very good.
This was a lovely birthday special occasion for our family!
Ty was an outstanding waiter and the food was great, especially the caesar salad.
We are looking forward to dining there again!
The experience was great, the scenery was nice and quiet definitely not for kids, I loved the layout and the decorations, it wasn’t full of people, and the staff was amazing and very nice and helpful, the value for money just didn’t meet our standards, the pasta was undercooked the bread had no flavor, and they serve glasses of room temp water with no ice, the food was worse than an Olive Garden and if it weren’t for our server that was so sweet we would’ve left. Scratch the whole menu and start over !
Great service and wonderful food. Prices were a little high, but nothing we weren’t expecting since it’s on property at Gaylord Texan.
Overall, excellent experience!
Not happy with my experience at Zeppole. Used Open Table for Sunday, 7PM reservations, arrived on time and the house was dead. Told the young man sporting the “man bun,” that we wanted to have a cocktail at the bar, if it were not a problem. He assured me it would be no problem, so that we did. About five minutes later, he came to the bar and said our table was ready and asked if we wanted to transfer our tab and drinks to the table. I told the young man that we really wanted to finish our cocktail at the bar before being seated and he replied it would not be a problem.
It wasn’t 10 minutes later, the same young man came to the female bartender who approached us and stated we needed to take our drinks to the table. At this point I am really irritated and I asked her why were we being rushed on such a slow night. She specifically stated that the “house rules” were only 15 tables could be seated per hour due to the small size of the kitchen, “That’s why there is always a line.” I have never heard of such a thing in my life, a limit on seating per hour as opposed to seatings based on occupancy/vacancy. I can assure you there wasn’t 15 people, let alone tables seated the entire time we were there. So I approached the young man who was standing a few feet away and asked, “Why are you rushing us? I asked you twice if we could simply have a cocktail at the bar before dinner and you told me it wasn’t a problem but you come up twice in 10 minutes trying to get us to a table and the bartender just told us,per you, we had to be seated.” His reply was, “I didn’t tell her that, there is no problem.”
We take our seats and THEN the truth comes out. Our server immediately starts asking, not once, but twice for our food order. I’m fed up, I ask, “What is all this rushing us?” She tells us she wants to go home early to help someone move. This is unacceptable!! She left and we were given another server and assistant, they were fabulous. The food blew, we won’t return.
