Poor service. Waited 10 minutes before we were greeted. Our reservation was at 845 so at 915 we were told we had to order immediately because it was kitchen last call. You can tell everyone was closing down the restaurant ready for us to leave. I had 3 espresso martinis. Every single one was different. They progressively got worse. I could go on but I already feel like I wasted so much time and money I can’t put anymore energy into it. Such a disappointment
Very disappointed. The service was acceptable. We had a trainee, so I’m fine with the service knowing that. It was my wife’s birthday and she received a free dessert, which was nice. The food, however, was very disappointing. It tasted like hospital food and was small portions. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our singular experience. Better to spend less money and get better food at a fast food place, or at least prepackaged snacks from the marketplace.
I ordered chicken masala, wasn’t very good - kids had pizza and spaghetti and it looked better. Service was fantiastic, just too much money for no taste.
We went 2 evenings for dinner. First night was wonderful, we took appetizers and even desert and it was delicious but second night my chicken marsala was so disappointing. It was like microwave food, plus second evening service was poor, we also have to wait drinks too long,drinks came after we got food. Would go and try again but never want chicken marsala again.
Great service. Spaghetti was gummy as it had been frozen and meatballs were gray. Waiter said it was their most popular dish

Our waiter Ignacio and Josue who assisted him were beyond excellent with their service. We have had Ignacio as our server before and he has always been so helpful with suggestions about the items on the menu. The food was delicious.

The host and the waitress were awesome, my wife and I could not be happier, the food was a little bit pricey but well worth it when you are celebrating 26 yrs of marriage! We were seated in an nice quiet area, the server knew her stuff. A huge plus when asking for recommendations she was able to describe every dish as if she was in the kitchen. It exceeded my expectations. I had the steak medium well- melted on every bite the vegetables were delicious. My wife had the calamari/ fish/ and something dish/ appetizer we thought it was a meal. everything was well prepared and cooked. The dessert was excellent a combination of ice creams, strawberries and marshmallow whipped topping -just right, not overly sweet. The menu names were interestingly funny to read, I felt as if I was out in Europe. I give a great deal of credit to your host and the server, we had a wonderful dinner and a great night a big thank you to your staff and your chef! MY RECOMENDATION - IF YOU STOP BY DEFINETLY MAKE A RESERVATION (DONT BE LATE) AND ENJOY A GREAT DINNER AT ZEPOLE!!!!
Meal was perfect. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The table next to us had two bowls of the pasta with a poached egg. Two members of our party ordered it and it was a winner. Two others gave the lasagna high marks also.
The server and supporting staff did the best they could. Entirely to many tables being served by the waiter and his support. Bar was overwhelmed. Reservations were all running behind. The Gaylord has played games with restaurants all week, hours, menus, access, etc. While the crowds and hotel is to busy compared to restaurant accessibility. Quality has suffered at Zeppole along with all the others. Been coming to this event hall for 10 years now.

5 starts to the Service provided by the bartender, who was also our server, and everyone else except by the hostess Trisha from Lubbock. She was unfriendly and rude from the inicial contact. We got to our reservation early and asked to be seated at one of the tables by the bar since they were all available. She said our reservation was in 30 mins and she couldn’t seat us sooner. She made us wait 30 mins and sat us right at reservation time at the bar at one of the multiple empty tables that remained empty for the duration of our stay. We waited 10 mins and got no service. We asked another sever to please send our server over. She said the bartender was our server, and kindly informed the bartender of our table. He came over quickly and apologize since he was never informed we were seated. He was very attentive and friendly and provided us with exceptional service after that. My husband went to complain to the host about the lack of consideration and poor service on their part. Head hostess, Trisha, came over to our tables and in a very rude tone said she wouldn’t tolerate us cursing out her employee (my husband expressed it was f@& up service, never directly an insult to the hostess) and that she was calling security to have us removed from the premises. Security came over, we explain the situation and they apologize to us. Security said he was going to report her and the situation to the manager and to reach to him if we were bother in any way again during our stay.

The food was overpriced - $27 for chicken marsala! That's outrageous!
I had to ask for ground pepper and the server came over with a pepper shaker! And there was no parmesan offered when the pasta was served.
I have been there several times and this was the worst experience yet! The waiters are really in a rush everytime and the restaurant is really not that big!
I think the wait staff needs more training and they need to bring the standards up a bit more instead of acting like you are just one of the many guests that cycle through there. They should take more care and work on their customer service!

Love the ambiance of this restaurant. you are sitting in an outside type atmosphere, but yet you're inside the Gaylord atrium just beautiful. So no bugs, hot weather etc. Food was excellent and they were still spacing out people so it wasn't crowded at all. Although we did have a hard time making a reservation so I would suggest you definitely plan ahead.
We were in town for a dance competition and this was the best place that we ate. We loved the decor and the food. Ther service was great too.

Everyone was wonderful. Lexi was an excellent server! She was very knowledgeable about all the food options and wine. She was very attentive and didn’t rush us.
Great food and atmosphere
Carlos was an excellent and attentive server. I really appreciated a visit from the manager as well. The food Carlos recommended was excellent. The cocktails were also delicious. Overall it was a great experience and a pleasant surprise given the inconsistent and mediocre food at the other restaurants at The Gaylord Texan.

We dined here twice. The first night, Gabriela was awesome! The second night, Corona was also a great server. There was a young man singing in Italian while we were there and that added a nice touch to the ambiance. Thank you!

Everything we ordered was amazing. Our appetizer was plenty for 4. The strip steak was delicious! Can’t go wrong with the cheesecake or tiramisu. Definitely will be back!
