Every time I have eaten here it's always been amazing the staff is very nice and it's very beautiful setting
My wife and I celebrated valentines day with a great meal at Zenith. The wine and meal were excellent. Service was great. A very fun atmosphere. Recommend it to all.

Jan 18-2018... We went to one of our favourite restaurants-- ZENITH STEAKHOUSE-- for my husband's Birthday. It's about 20-minutes outside of Flagstaff and so worth the short drive. The Menu is OUTSTANDING, the Wine List EXEMPLARY, and the Service ends-up making your whole meal a TERRIFIC experience.
Parents, please do us all a favour and leave your kids at home, as this is a quiet, ROMANTIC restaurant. The mood MUSIC is old-school Soft Jazz, (and in the background, NOT in your face like most restaurants today where you can't hear yourself think let-alone carry on a conversation without screaming over the music, ugh)-- Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones, Bobby Darin, etc. Just lovely.
My husband and I are locals, and there isn't one thing on the Menu that isn't outstanding-- we should know as we've tried every offering they have. Our favourites include the Stuffed Mushrooms and Navajo Short-Rib APPETIZERS, French Onion and Butternut Squash SOUPS, the Chop and BLT Wedge SALADS, the Long-bone Ribeye, Rack of Lamb, Rosemary Chicken, and Zenith Burger, and their Cioppino Stew, Scallops, and Seafood Pasta ENTREES.
As for SIDES, their Onion Tower (Rings) is to die for! The Vegetable Risotto, Lobster Mac & Cheese, and Grilled Asparagus are also most excellent.
Favourite DESSERTS are their Pine Nut Pie (a much more sophisticated version of the usual sickening-sweet Pecan Pie) and their Crème Brulee.
Now then, you can DRESS like a slob and get in, (and most people do, after all, the ZENITH STEAKHOUSE is in a Hotel/Casino). However, (and this is just our personal preference), you can dress to the nines and not feel out of place at all. Indeed, my husband and I do just that to make our dining experience a real elegant affair. There aren't any other restaurants, at least in Flagstaff, where you can pull that off. We're so thankful that ZENITH STEAKHOUSE affords us that luxury.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, we especially loved the local Navajo beef which was very tender with wonderful flavor. The New Zealand lamb was perfectly prepared, and the crab cakes were full of lump crab meat. The server made good recommendations and the wine by the glass list was good. The prices were lower than a comparable meal at a nice restaurant in Flagstaff. It was worth the drive, and we will be back!
We had reservations and came early to have a cocktail in the bar. The bartender had no idea what she was doing. It took her 10 minutes to ask us if we wanted a drink (there was only one other couple at the bar) and another 10 minutes to make the cocktail. She didn't seem to know where anything was and then she added club soda to an Old Fashioned! When I asked about that saying it was not normally something that was in that drink she said they had different recipes here? It wasn't listed as an ingredient on the drink menu either but I let it drop.
Once we got to our table the service was still slow but we were acknowledged by our server and she gave apologies for the wait. Since it was New Year's Eve we were expecting it to be busy. We both had the surf and turf. The lobster tail was broiled perfectly but my filet was a little underdone although my husband says his was perfect.
All in all, I will return. I just hope I get a different bartender.
We were there for New Year's Eve. My rack of lamb was among the best I have ever eaten. We really appreciated that we never felt rushed and that the seating was not crowded together.
Our waitress Shannon was excellent. A great alternative to some of Flagstaff’s other higher end restaurants. You won’t be disappointed.
We come twice a year we love the Zenith!! I always get the lobster tails, Delicious
