We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, we especially loved the local Navajo beef which was very tender with wonderful flavor. The New Zealand lamb was perfectly prepared, and the crab cakes were full of lump crab meat. The server made good recommendations and the wine by the glass list was good. The prices were lower than a comparable meal at a nice restaurant in Flagstaff. It was worth the drive, and we will be back!
We had reservations and came early to have a cocktail in the bar. The bartender had no idea what she was doing. It took her 10 minutes to ask us if we wanted a drink (there was only one other couple at the bar) and another 10 minutes to make the cocktail. She didn't seem to know where anything was and then she added club soda to an Old Fashioned! When I asked about that saying it was not normally something that was in that drink she said they had different recipes here? It wasn't listed as an ingredient on the drink menu either but I let it drop.
Once we got to our table the service was still slow but we were acknowledged by our server and she gave apologies for the wait. Since it was New Year's Eve we were expecting it to be busy. We both had the surf and turf. The lobster tail was broiled perfectly but my filet was a little underdone although my husband says his was perfect.
All in all, I will return. I just hope I get a different bartender.
The food is excellent but could be served warmer. This was our fourth visit and it seems that even though a special seatingrequest was made (booth) with reservation, when you arrive they try to seat you elsewhere. Service was a little slow; it took about 40 minutes for food to be served once ordered. Our server was very cordial and atmosphere is relaxing.
What a great find for us. We've been there twice in the past 2 month. Food is great, service above and beyond, menu selection not your everyday "diner." Perfect for that special occasion. Sides are ala carte but enough to feed a party of 4. Not inexpensive but well worth the cost.
Pleasant surprise! We were driving across country and stopped for the night at the Twin Arrow Casino. Zenith is the dinner house. We had excellent service, our server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
The short ribs on polenta were delicious and nicely plated. We also enjoyed a Ribeye with a lovely demo glaze, which was fabulous. The decor was very unusual, our booth felt cozy and private. You would never know you were sitting at a casino.
Seriously Overrated. I didn't find this all appealing.
Service was not anything different from service from Dennys. You get charge for extras, Really, are you kidding me
You need to go on a cruise to see how to be treated in a elegant restaurant
If you like to throw your money away or you won big or won a free meal from here go for it
Been there done it will never go back
Went for Thanksgiving dinner. My girlfriend had scallops wrapped in bacon and I had the surf and turf, lobster/filet mignon. We split a lobster mac and cheese. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. It was a little pricey, but easily justified for a special occasion. The restaurant itself is within the Twin Arrows Casino, which does not in any way detract from the overall ambience of the place. Very good eats and well worth the twenty minute drive from Flagstaff.
I've been to Twin Arrows a few times...each time on a day when Zenith was not open. This time I was able to enjoy the steakhouse on Thanksgiving with a friend. We both ordered the small filet mignon steak. They were cooked to perfection and sauced beautifully. We had ordered the vegetables to share....but somehow the order was not put into the kitchen so the vegetables arrived rather late into the dinner. They were, however, very nicely cooked and enjoyable.
The ambiance was lovely...however I am glad we were seated in a booth away from the open kitchen . Pricing is a bit dear in my opinion...but hey, you are in a casino resort in the middle of nowhere and to have this level of quality is quite remarkable.
First, Erin, our server was very nice and welcoming. She even helped me with my selection of wine. We had the prime rib and came on Wednesday for that reason. We both agreed that we have had better. The meat was chewy and tough with little flavor. For the price, we expected better. There was no way I could eat all mine and since we were staying in the hotel, we couldn't take the leftovers so wasted meat. It would have been nice to offer a smaller serving size. The garlic mashed potatoes were wonderful - very flavorful. The vegetables were good, but I was surprised the skin was on the squash since the skin was hard to chew, the broccoli wasn't very cooked. When the bill came, one of the bills we saw included a dish we didn't order. Erin fixed it for us so all was good, but what if we hadn't caught that $10 charge for something we didn't order? Overall, not very impressed and sort of sorry we decided to eat there.
Zenith is uniquely located within a casino/resort operated by the Navajo Nation. The ambience and decor reflected this with native elements in an attractive & comfortable setting. The server was friendly & knowledgeable about the menu, which features locally sourced beef. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed the vegetable risotto. It would be nice to have at least one more vegetarian entree on the menu.
This destination is worth the drive for a special occasion dinner date.
I was disappointed. Booked dinner to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Mentioned it on the email booking and in person when I confirmed reservation. No one mentioned a thing - host or server. The food was good, not exceptional and the services was okay, not impressive. Dessert menu was not very appealing.

An excellent fine dining experience. The steaks, side dishes, and salads are delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. The decor is unique and appealing. The background music is relaxing and at an appropriate volume to allow for quiet conversation. This is a superb restaurant that is especially appropriate for special ocassions.
The shrimp cocktail was excellent and tasted fresh. We got 3 fairly large shrimp for $13. My husband ordered the prime rib dinner for $29. The prime rib meat was very tough and he couldn't eat it. I ordered the diver scallops which were good. I also ordered the sweet potato puree which I didn't care for. I expected a sweet potato casserole with more sweetness as the dish we get at Ruth's Chris which has pecans on the top.
Zenith is certainly worth the drive. They grow their own grass fed beef which is the most tender and juicy I have enjoyed. The service is wonderful. Our server was knowledgeable and super pleasant and attentive. We have dined here before and had cancelled a reservation in Phoenix to drive up and enjoy this fantastic restaurant. The booths are so very cozy and have a wonderful private feel to them. I cannot say enough about Zenith. You are top notch in every area.
