This was my first time dining at Zenith Restaurant in Twin Arrows casino. The food was excellent and I was very pleased with my surf & turf dinner. Highly recommend.
My husband was not sure about the quality of food served at casinos based on his visits to Black Hawk, CO. I looked at the menu and decided that it would be worth a try. The food was very good, according to my husband the sour dough bread was better than he ever had before. We had filet mignon with balsamic glazed asparagus, trout with goat cheese, green chile, polenta and steamed vegetables. We shared the food and it was all delicious. Curiosity led my husband to get the pinyon pie and it was like a really good pecan pie with pine nuts instead of pecans. Our server, Nai did a wonderful job of letting us know about the family style portions (thankfully our they have had to roll us out) and making sure we were taken care of the entire meal.
They need to include sides when you order steaks. Other than that everything is as always great...
We went on a Wednesday evening. Fairly busy so the staff couldn't be as attentive as usual but the service was good. Professional and friendly. Our party had scallops and ribeye. Food was superb. A very nice time
I have eaten here twice and what makes it interesting is that there was a 3 year interval between dinners. The service on both visits was excellent and attentive without too much hovering around the table. Of course the setting is basically unchanged from in the past. The bar area is nice and could see my wife and I hanging out for a couple drinks sometime just in the bar. When I go to steak houses, I go to eat a good steak and the selection of Native American grass fed cuts is pretty good, especially for this area of Arizona. My ribeye was cooked correctly and was quite good. The sides are well made and presented and certainly plentiful. Wine list is excellent and any restaurant that has a cabernet from Mount Veeder has been schooled on great wines to offer. A nice little family dinner for us. PS: I realize this restaurant is in a casino, but some people need to dress in front of a mirror. The shorts and flip flops folks should be asked to at least put on long pants and actual shoes. A restaurant of this caliber should expect a little formality.
We had been to Zenith about a half dozen times before pandemic. Zenith Steakhouse was closed for more than a year for the pandemic and we were worried it would be a thing of the past. We learned they reopened near the end of July. We waited for a couple months to return. There was apprehension when we returned, worried if things would be the same, would it still be as good?
Well what I can say is at our latest visit....the restaurant is firing on all cylinders....everything was outstanding. From the service, the ambiance, the food from appetizers to dessert and coffee was just as I remembered, if not even better.
We were in Las Vegas one week before at the Eiffel Tower restaurant, and Zenith blows it out of the water. You would think that a French restaurant would have really good French onion soup, but the soup was far superior to the Eiffel Tower's French onion soup.
Her parents ordered a house salad and stated they were going to share, the kitchen split the salad and I swear they were both the size of a full salad, a very nice touch that was completely unexpected.
The oysters and calamari were excellent.
The steaks were prepared to perfection., cooked exactly how we ordered them. The sides were very large, enough to share among 4 people with extra to go home.
The desserts were also very tasty and made very well.
The service was top notch, attentive and friendly without coming too much but not staying away too long....I'm not sure how they time it but it was perfect timing.
Even the manager whom we asked to speak with to give praises for the whole restaurant was helping at the bar, serving food and checking in with patrons to make sure their dining experience was good.
The chef even came out to check on the customers to make sure they were satisfied with their meals.
I get this is more upscale and most cannot go on a regular basis, but do yourself a favor, plan a special occasion a Zenith, it will be memorable both in your mind and belly!
Zenith was not ready for us at 7 PM. Took 15 minutes to get our first drink order. We ordered the calamari which was overcooked returned it which was taken off our bill and manager apologized. Nothing special and would not go back.
Wonderful food and fantastic service. Would highly recommend!!
This was a very nice experience. Staff was fabulous as was the food ! The resort is shiny clean and continued cleaning throughout...the covid guidelines were strictly enforced! We were quite impressed!
As always A+++ service and food! Will always be our favorite place to eat...
Food and service is always exceptional.
Great place for date night or a very nice family dinner.
Excellent service. Server was friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and nicely presented.
Lovely atmosphere, good food and beverage and good friendly service
If you like excellent beef, Zenith is the best place to experience a great Navajo steak! And the service and attention matches the food. For us, it is worth the drive from Flagstaff
Ribeye and the scallop dish were superb. A glass of pinot had been open too long. We'd give it a 4.5, just not quite a 5 star
The food is always very good. Service is professional and friendly. the ambience is very nice - quiet and peaceful with quiet background music.
By far the best restaurant in the Flagstaff area - better food, better prices, plenty of parking.
Went for our 50th anniversary dinner and it was a great experience. Gave us a free dessert!
Everyone is very nice and the food is AWESOME. We eat here all the time....
Love this place.
Best steak house in AZ!!!!!!
Ordered a medium rare filet. When served it was medium well!!
I ordered rack of lamb and it was so tough that I could not even cut it. Chewing was impossible. The manager was nice enough to offer bringing me a different entre. It took almost an hour for the scallops I chose to come to the table. Our whole dinner took over two hours because of the slow service. The wait staff was attentive but I think they must have been short staffed in the kitchen which slowed everything down. This was a disappointing evening since we have had wonderful dinners there in years past. I think the 16-month closure has definitely affected them and I hope they "get u to speed" quickly.
Great food our service was fantastic. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. I think it is a great value.
Very good restaurant, great hotel.
Husband’s birthday dinner with family.
Very good experience thank you
We really enjoued it.
The Navajo beef is most unique steak in all of AZ. They are hands down the best steakhouse in Norther AZ, and might be a contender for best steakhouse in the whole. Darn. State.
Absolutely wonderful dinner for my hubby's 40th birthday. Our sever was welcoming and helpful with the menu.
Overpriced, steaks are overpriced and nothing special.
The Zenith steakhouse was very good service with great people are really nice and the food was pretty good.
We dined on Valentines night. The restaurant is very nice and the ambience is nice. The food was just ok..the unfortunate thing was that a steak restaurant ran out of rib eye steak on a set menu...how is that possible it’s a steak restaurant I ended up paying $70 for chicken...
Our server was great and I felt sorry for her telling guests they had no rib eye steaks oh and they also ran out of strawberry shortcake...
I understand that restaurants can get busy but surely a steak restaurant should order extra and it could be used the next day...
All in all it wasn’t a great experience and we won’t be returning.
The service from the start was excellent and continued throughout the evening. The environment was sophisticated and intimate (if you get a booth.) The fare was typical high end steakhouse-no surprises but well conceived. The steaks were extremely tough and grisly. We understand that they all come from the reservation, which we appreciate. However, I would never call what we had prime. Or dry aged. We usually grass fed meat so we are used to meat with texture but this was extreme. I had the the tomahawk ribeye and my wife had the regular ribeye. 25% of the steaks were inedible. We probably should have given them the opportunity to redo them but we did not. We both ordered our steaks rare, which they were. Preparation and presentation were very nice. The sides and shrimp cocktail were excellent.
Enjoyed an early Valentines dinner with my wife. The service was very good. The food was terrific. For our main I had a 6oz filet mignon cooked perfectly with bearnaise sauce. Sides were a LARGE baked potato and creamed spinach. My wife had duck confit with mixed vegetables. All was extremely well cooked. We will be back for another meal.
Not the first time we've been to the Zenith and again, the service was outstanding. The special on Wednesday was Prime Rib.... portion was HUGH, about 16 oz plus.
Great service from Hector (the maitre d') Dominic in the lounge, Stefanie who took great care of us and of course, Chef John the creator of the feast.
From where we live west of Phoenix; this is well worth the drive up north.
Great food and good service! Better than any of the restaurants in Flagstaff.
The service staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms and seafood tower appetizers. The main course and side dishes were tasty, and quite plentiful.
We will definitely be returning for more visits, and I've already been letting my friends, that haven't been to the Zenith Steakhouse, it is definitely worth the trip.
Thanks again for a fantastic evening meal!
beutiful decor, food is excellent
very reasonable prices for excellence
everything was prepared very nicely and the server was very good at her job thank you
We were very impressed with the food and service.
Great experience for our anniversary celebration. Twin Arrow Resort and Zenith Steakhouse are a fantastic destination.
Server was nice and enjoy the food.
Service was impeccable. Ribeyes were cooked to perfection and extremely tender. Side dishes were generous portions and would feed up to four. Overall, a very nice dining experience!
When we want a special night out, we usually end up at Zenith Steakhouse. Very classy, good variety and food has always been very good.
