Worst service! Took over an hour for the food to get to the table and the restaurant was mostly empty.
Amazing restaurant and right at the hotel where we stayed!! Only complaint is that the air conditioning is set too high, we had to skip desert because it was too cold
Sushi was very very good.
Service was great and food too. Spider roll is out of this world.
We always do the Zen experience. It is pricey, but well worth it. Food is always amazing and services is excellent. We love
That you can order anything and everything. It is served as tasting menu, so it’s not overwhelming. Yet, you can always order more if you like something. It’s a beautiful restaurant and makes for an amazing special dinner.
I would recommend this restaurant to someone I didn't like.
Some of the food was very good, other, nothing special. Our waiter was excellent.
It was not clear from the map supplied and my navigation brought me to an open field. The restaurant is inside the hotel.
We really enjoyed Zen. The good and wine were both great and the service was very good. I would definitely recommend Zen .
Great food and awesome service. A little pricey but it’s a hotel restaurant so that to be expected. But overall it’s a good value considering the food and service.
Love this place will definitely go again very soon
The server was trying to take away our plate before we had finished eating.
Jeremiah was fantastic!!! He made us feel totally welcomed. The food was outstanding!
The food was unbelievable! The atmosphere was conducive to casual conversation and very romantic. The staff was always smiling, very attentive to your requests, and insured everything was to your liking. We will start going to this hidden gem of a restaurant now that we found it.
Nice restaurant inside Omni Hotel, upscale yet casual dining, booths & open tables available. Menu full of choices, food well prepared, tasty, and plenty to eat. Good service though a bit abrupt. A nice choice to eat while staying at the hotel or there for business or pleasure.
Rosa was wonderful and the sushi chef’s customize our order for gluten allergy. We love coming here!
Crispy Duck and Pancakes was awful. Chef has removed meat from bones, reconstituted it with flour and then fried. Server even described it looking like ‘roadkill’ when I asked ‘what is that??’ I guess they are trying a new way of cooking but honestly, they destroyed what us a classic Asian dish. Very dry, awful. I’d avoid it.
Otherwise the rest of the dishes were excellent. The Chinese style ribs were delicious and seafood in a birds nest really very good.
Hopefully they get back to preparing Duck the traditional way as we enjoy this restaurant.
We had the Zen experience and it was nice
We have eaten here several times over the last three years whilst visiting Davenport. Each time something goes wrong. We have persevered to give the Zen every opportunity to go that extra mile however it just has not happened yet. Last nights problem was the choice of wine on offer here. NO BOTTLES OF PROSECCO IN THE WHOLE RESTAURANT ! And I dont mean those silly tiny bottles of Prosecco, I mean a normal full size bottle of Prosecco. How crazy is that for new years evening? In fact for any evening of the year. It would be great if just once everything went well. I will not be going back as that was just plain stupidity.
Wonderful service by Lorissa and the rest of the staff. We had a large party for a New Year's Eve dinner and everyone enjoyed.
Nice restaurant, fast service. The food was delicious..
Excellent service and food was spectacular. The restaurant was a little chilly but overall outstanding.
Enjoyed our meal and service was top notch. Since our son’s flight was delayed the wait staff bagged up our unfinished food for them complete with napkins and plastic utensils so they had something to eat once they finally arrived late on Christmas Eve .
Was great food and service but a little pricey for what you get
Better than expected. Our waiter was attentive, but I was feeling a little rushed through my meal. Otherwise, I would return and recommend.
Great Job! Jeremiah was an excellent server and host.
The place was great except for the child in the next table screaming bloody murder and the oblivious and unconsidered parents
Another great evening with friends. I would highly recommend ZEN for a fine dining experience. Our dinner was fabulous and the service was outstanding.
The food is consistently very good, and the service always above the average Central Florida restaurant . There are at least five servers that I can think of who are excellent. I think that may include them all.
The food choices cover a wide range, and tofu can be substituted in most cases. When I ate fish, their Steamed Sea Bass was the very best that I had anywhere anytime. Also the Zen experience is fun for families or group of friends. Again, so many choices, everyone finds what they love.
We go often, though it's a 40 minute drive. Worth the trip as they say.
We shared our dietary restrictions with the waiter and had him pick all the sushi rolls we were sharing together for dinner. The choices were excellent and the service was superb. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves sushi.
Seated promptly upon arrival, however after 20 minutes we had to flag down a busboy to ask if he could send a waitress over. After 5 minutes the maitre'd came by and asked if she could help us. After explaining our situation our waitress arrived another 5 minutes later. From there everything went fine. The food was authentic, varied and well prepared. Our food arrived promptly, in the proper order (shared maki rolls, then soup, then main courses) and very tasty. Other than the initial long wait, I would recommend Zen to anyone looking for authentic Chinese / Asian food in the Champions Gate area.
We opted for the Zen experience and it was incredible to sample everything on the menu!! Awesome dining adventure for a special birthday occasion. Our waitstaff was from Honduras and took excellent care of us!
Best hotel restaurant I’ve ever been to. I went back twice!
We enjoyed the food. Sushi wasn't the greatest but for the area not so terrible. A bit pricey as well. Will go every few months. Service was very good. Flavor of seet and sour pork was great.
Best sushi for gluten-free people!! They customized several rolls for us to enjoy. The Zen Experience was delicious! Also there was a separate gluten-free menu with traditional Chinese dishes. Great Sake and wine selections too.
Jeremiah was a great server. He kept us all satisfied with our varied requests. Two people in our group had the Zen experience, a great way to tour the better than average chef selections on their menu. Sushi items are creative and delicious. Be prepared: Zen is priced as a tourist attraction; expensive but the quality of the food exceeds this diner's high expectations.
It was my daughter's 13th birthday and we were staying at the Omni. We let the hostess know and they did a beautiful job with the presentation of her sushi making it look like a dragon. Then at the end they brought out this wonderfully decorated little cake everything was a real treat.
We celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary on Friday at Zen. Our server was Katherine and she was awesome! Made suggestions and took great care of us! We love this restaurant and will definitely request Katherine next time we dine!
We dine at Zen frequently when we are in the area. The grouper dish is wonderful and the sushi is excellent. If you want an exotic treat, order the Mexican roll; you won't find it on the menu but it rocks with micro-celantro and a freshly chopped pico.
Can't go wrong with that Champions Gate roll as a sushi starter and don't leave town without having the Singapore noodles as an appetizer.
