We had Ben for a waiter. He was outstanding and made us laugh even though our concert was canceled. We really enjoyed our dining experience.

We always get fabulous food and excellent service!
Great Service. Our Waiter, Galen, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and always available to help. Great atmosphere! We celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful experience!
Great food and service!
College roommate reunion!
Bar was excellent. Predinnner drinks were very good, and the server was friendly, energetic and welcoming. We enjoyed the recommended cocktails and shared a calamari which was very good (although not as well done as I had ordered). Dinner was another story. We had a table jammed up against a service station which made for a chaotic experience. Our server was brusque and short tempered, as if we were doing him a favor by eating at his table. He also rushed us through dinner, having us through salad, entrees and dessert in 60 minutes, when we had made it clear that we were celebrating an event and wanted to linger. On top of that, the food was ok but certainly not anything special. I had the walleye special (BTW the waiter was offended that I asked the price), it was over salted and mediocre at best. Not once were we asked if everything was ok or how were we doing. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it.
Cori, our waitstaff, did an amazing job informing us of the specials. We ordered one of each when we couldn’t decide because they both sounded delicious. She offered to split the dishes for two so we could each try the other’s. We cleaned our plates!
Great food, cocktails and pre-show atmosphere! I am never disappointed at Zelo!
Food was great. Tim our server was excellent. When in Minneapolis our favorite restaurant.
Enjoyed. Linguine de mare was excellent.
Zelo is one of our favorite places to eat before going to a show at the Orpheum. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is always enjoyable, and the service is always top notch. This time, we had the pleasure to have Benjamin take care of us. He was amazing and by far our favorite server yet. If you want a great place to go before a show, or just a nice place to eat, this is place is a must!
Convenient for a bite before the Dakota - over priced and mediocre at best.
Excellent server and food
Although loud when we first arrived (6pm Thursday), it got quieter. Food not only very good, but portions were more than we expected.
My daughter and I dined at Zelo before attending My Fair Lady on March 5. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was delicious.
Great dinner, fantastic captain’s wine list. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about wine and the menu
Excellent food, nice service, convenient complimentary valet parking!
Nice, they did not acknowledge the birthday at all
I went to Zelo the other night with my husband and we had Ben as our server. He provide wonderful service! Great conversation, good recommendations, and attentive. We’ll definitely be back to visit again!
First visit to Zelo - and to Minneapolis as well. Was in the City on business with a colleague and chose Zelo largely on the comments on OpenTable. It is well located - near many hotels - and upon reflection was simply a great night out.
The bar side is comfortable and grand and there is a really good vibe in there so perhaps consider a drink before dinner. The restaurant is comfortable and equally energetic. We had a friendly greeting at the entrance and the server and assistant server were outstanding. We let our waiter Ben choose the wine - apps - main and deserts so no excuse to having a great meal ...and none had to be given...all of which were very good....and I suspect everything else on the (large) menu would be good as well. The food came quick which tells me the are well organised back of house.
If I could critique one thing on the evening is that the bill came before we even finished desert...actually maybe at the same time desert came...but nonetheless, felt somewhat rushed to get us out of there.
All in all...I would encourage anyone to enjoy a meal at Zelo as we certainly did.
The zucchini noodles and Brussel sprouts were excellent way to start. Salmon was also very good.
