Husband and I went with two friends. We are all regular restaurant goers Found the food to be mediocre. We had four different entrées and three different appetizers. We thought we’d give this restaurant a try as we were at Shaw theater. We won’t be back! We live in the area and they are just too many other good restaurants around.

I booked this resturant for lunch. When we arrived the greeting was quite rude. However, things actually went downhill from here. We were seated and given menus. One of the party is vegeatrian so we asked for the vegetarin options to be told there wasn't any! Peter made a point in saying that there was an option on the evening menu but he wouldn't be able to do this at lunch. He did offer to make a plain salad and rice but we would be charged for the full meal!! we asked as the food is cooked fresh could the chef not adapt something? But no that wasn't an option so he told us to try another restaurant!!!! We went to the Thai next door - which was amazing and I would highly recommend!!!

The pork chop I ordered was over cooked. Our waitress was very nice, professional and helpful. Every thing else I ate was really good.

4 of us ordered 4 different items from the menu and all 4 were outstanding. Served with efficiency and kindness. We will be coming back to try the dinner menu.

Zee's Grill is a great choice for not only a great meal but has the best proximity to the Shaw Festival Theatre making for a quick and easy transition to the performance. Options for indoor or outdoor dining give some welcome flexibility depending on the weather.

The food and atmosphere at Zee's Grill is good. The service was not anything to write home about (going through the motions). It is totally overpriced for the area. Would not return as there are better meals options in Niagara on the Lake at a much lower cost. The only real thing to recommend this restaurant is it's proximity to 2 of the Shaw Festival theatres. It was very empty the evening we were there.

We had an early dinner following the show. The location is good as it's a two min walk from the theatre. The menu is limited and the quality of the food terrible. Two guests had the Ribs which were boiled and +50% fat, disgusting. The third guest had the Chicken Marsala which was tasteless and the fourth had the Caesar Salad which was not great containing mostly the white / light leaves of the romaine lettuce. The service was ok and although we told the server the food was not up to par, she did not offer an apology or options to rectify the situation. Very disappointing experience overall and will not go back.

Food was great but our food took an hour and 40 min to come out. Also, we are tequila drinker and they only had José Cuervo. No clear tequila. Being an upscale restaurant, they should have standard liquor choices.
