Close to the theatre and it’s parking lot. Great food. Wait staff are very good.
Food was excellent (beef tenderloin) and service was very good. Ambiance was boring and basically a big open room where you could hear every individual in the room. Nothing done to creat a unique atmosphere... music was odd choice and one speaker so didnt sound good. Based on food and service they have the opportunity to turn the space into something that is a fully stellar experience.
In Niagara on the Lake to see A Christmas Carol and had a lovely dinner at Zees Grill.
This was our 4th dinner at the restaurant and we have never been disappointed!
Enjoyed our experience at the restaurant. I will certainly come back to Zees Grill again, thank you for wonderful food and service, C. Hills.
Can’t say enough about Zees. Our meal was delicious and the portions are excellent. We will definitely be returning
Trevor, our waiter, was great. Both Boulliabaise and Arctic Char were excellent.
Didn’t care much for the fall menu. Too many strange combinations. Tasted heavy. Bouliabaise was delicious, but extra salty, fish with potato rosti combo way too heavy. Service and ambiance wonderful. Would go back for sure
Food was great. Service was fantastic. Server went out of her way to make a delicious meal happen.
Our service and server were excellent. Very close to the Shaw Festival which was handy for us as we could keep our car there after the show.
The food and presentation was excellent with an adequate portion.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
If you are looking for a pleasant spot for lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Zees is for you. The food and service are always good. We sat in the heated verandah, but the heaters were not working properly near our table. Unfortunately, I caught a chill and ended up with a bad cold.
It was chilly on the porch. Otherwise we had a delicious lunch and pleasant time in NOTL
Great dinner! Delicious!! Would highly recommend this restaurant! Thanks for the great night.
The food were too salty. One shell of mussels broke and was left in the soup. I bit it accidentally. I was disappointed.
Enjoyed a drink at the bar - well served and then moved to the dining room for dinner w/friends
Emma did a nice job on the door - Joe took care of us at dinner. Nice job - we’ll be back again

We eat here when we are in Niagara on the Lake. This time menu was different so a little disappointed. However food was tasty. Please bring back the salmon burger and pulled pork sandwich. Service is friendly and efficient t.
Excellent service, delicious food, great table. We loved it. Thanks
we were there for Fabulicious, and the 4 of us all enjoyed everything. Portion sizes were generous, service was great.
Fantastic! Delicious food, generous portion sizes, great value and phenomenal service! A new favourite!
We've eaten here a bunch of times. Dinners are always innovative and delicious; right up our alley. When staying at the Shaw Club hotel, the breakfasts are amazing as well. Nice little bar also..
Lovely to go back there
We go less during the summer as it gets so busy
They do have a great outdoor verandah which we
We enjoyed a delicious quiet meal on a blustery night. Service was attentive without being overbearing. My artic char was moist and flavorful. I don't know about my husband's pork tenderloin because he wouldn't share. Lovely setting for a night out.
Very nice dinner experience. Good service. Pumpkin soup was a little too spicy and the fish stew had a lot of green stuff in it that was extraneous—otherwise delicious. The tenderloin Was perfectly grilled and the potatoes were creamy and delicious. Music was a little loud. Would definitely return!
We went to Zee’s for lunch on a cold, wet Sunday. The glassed in dining area was bright, warm and quiet. The wait staff were cordial and very helpful explaining the menu and describing the wines on the menu. It was a pleasure to find many local wines, some of which are not available at the LCBO. The food was delicious. We lingered over our coffee and did not feel pressured or rushed in any way. I would certainly return to Zee’s and recommend it to my friends.
The atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable yet elegant feel. The bouillabaisse was amongst the best I have had. Great flavors and huge shrimp and scallop along with mussels and a bit of lobster.
My husband had mushroom risotto and said it was also great.
Service was fast and polite at 6:30 pm although the place was not busy. Lobster dish was delicious, but quite small with lots of risotto. Prices are a little high for what you get, but nice restaurant.
It's one of the best choice in this little town center.
The window seats offer you both a view of the streets and some sunshine, during the good days.
It's been a long time that I can taste a pumpkin bisque which is not too salty, and the choices are relatively healthy, too.
We order a french dip which have a beef sandwich and a potato fries, and a soup. Share by two.
I have snooping the plates on other tables. the pasta looks good too.
Overall I will recommend this this during your stay of Niagara on the lake.
Wonderful experience! Food was divine! Breton our server was excellent as were the rest of the staff. Will definitely return and have recommended to many others already. Thank you!
Zee’s was new to us. Have been to most restaurants in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Great atmosphere, quiet. Across from Shaw Theater. Started with curried mussels which were tasty. Then on to lobster poached in butter with lobster risotto. Too generous! The best creme brûlée ever. Thick crispy top that broke with a perfect crack! Splurged on a $$$ bottle of Cabernet. Would recommend this to anyone who didn’t have kids. Would not bring kids here. Very small bar area. Would eat here next time we’re in the area.
We really enjoyed the food (wrap, salad, smoked salmon, gespachio soup). The table in the conservatory was bright and enticing. Lovely ambience. Attentive wait staff. Lunch was served in a timely manner, and we had time to enjoy a brief stroll before attending the play at Shaw. Relaxed timing to get to the show on time! The restaurant was close to the theatre so we only had to park once.
Food was good. I had the chicken and my husband had the risotto which was watery. Service was acceptable.
Excellent dinner and Sean our server was both informative and friendly
Four of us dined there before attending a performance at the Festival Theatre conveniently located across the street. The menu does not provide a lot of variety but the selections we chose were excellent. We took advantage of the BYO wine feature, part of the reason we selected this restaurant. However we were very disappointed to find a total charge of $20 corkage for simply removing a cork from the bottle that we brought and pouring into each wine glass. Would the corkage charge have been less if we brought a screw-topped bottle? The corkage charge should be clearly listed on their website, which should also include a list of all beverages with prices.
Best Surf & Turf we have ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection, prawns were delicious and dessert was to die for. I 100% recommend anyone looking for an amazing dining experience in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Amazing! Our server (Kim I believe) was fantastic. She recommended our entrees and we loved them. The swordfish was one of the best meals I've ever had. Delicious. The ambience was perfect. We wanted a romantic quiet restaurant. I can't wait to come back. Thank you for an excellent experience!
We had minimal time between shows at the Shaw. They had a very reasonable lunch menu, with good choices. Tasted great and they got us in and out with ease and a cheerful manner. What more could you ask?
Excellent choice for a lunch before a matinee at The Festival theatre in Niagara on the Lake.
Service was excellent. Very satisfying meal, nicely presented.
My gluten free wrap had very little inside compared to other visits. I am normally quite pleased with the offerings. Hoping this was just a fluke.
Excellent food and excellent service and right across the street from the Festival theatre.
I have eaten here more than 5 times and this was the first entree I did not consider good. I ordered the swordfish and it was overcooked and dry. My wife's salmon was, however, excellent.
