About
Awesome experience as always! Sad to see them close.
The staff at zazios is absolutely amazing! So is the bread ;) highly recommend
The restaurant is closing, and I had a $50 gift card to use. Even with the gift card, I paid nearly $100 (with tip). It was unfortunate that the meals came with no sides, and all ala carte; a side of mashed potatoes was $8! My guest was from out of town, and he had never been to Zazio's. The food was delicious, but he would've like a complete dinner (salad, potato, meat).
Service, food, and Covid protocols were outstanding.
The chacuterie was amazing. My lobster ravioli was simply to die for. My hubby's stead was cooked perfectly. Caesar salads were great. The only disappointment was the apple crostada? It seemed very overcooked, almost like it had been over warmed in a microwave. The crusts were tough and hard to eat. We took it home. The service was outstanding, very attentive.
My first visit to zazios was stellar! Our server Tiago was incredible and the food was amazing! My husband and I were celebrating birthdays and we will be back again soon!
As always, it was a fantastic experience. Top tier cocktails, amazing food. The steak tip appetizers are better steak than most places have on their entire menu. The pasta was all excellent. Just visit.
Excellent ribeye steak and garlic mashed potatoes. Great waiter and perfect drinks. Couldn’t have been better. Nice place to unwind. Two weeks Webster’s Steakhouse will reopen. Anxious to give it a try again.
Great food, atmosphere and service...Always a treat!!
Dinner & appetizers were very good - expensive because everything is separate- we thought the price for the steak was high since nothing came with it. Service was excellent! Menu too seemed smaller
We had a great dinner! I got the lamb and my husband had the ribeye!
Service was slow, it seemed like she had a lot of tables to keep track of. Not a reason we wont be back, but not something we would expect Zazios.
Birthday was great
The two menu’s allowed for multiple great choices. The staff were very nice and understanding regarding our social distance wishes. The food was delicious! I will return soon 🙂
The corn relish sauce for the lobster ravioli smothered the delicate bits of lobster and the beautiful ravioli. It was far to heavy of a sauce for this dish and was a huge disappointment.
The corn chowder was mediocre at best.
Something I ate left me up sick all night.
My date did not eat his salad and said the lettuce was limp. His pasta dish was basically okay.
The ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. Everything appeared clean and socially distanced.
Went there for our wedding anniversary. Worst service EVER! 2 people. Took 15 minutes to get our drinks. Took our dinner order and delivered the wrong food to me. My wife completely ate her dinner before mine even arrived, and when it did it was cold. This is WAY to expensive a place to eat to have service, food this poor. Waiter never apologized and in the end, took my cold meal off the bill. Will NEVER be back.
Love the outdoor atmosphere. Great food and great service.
Y'all. This is why we eat out. I've had a ton of meals out. My wife has, too. We both agree that the culinary adventure we just enjoyed was our favorite meal we have ever had.
The restaurant week menu was perfect. We split the following:
Ally's meal:
- Corn chowder with duck fat, pop corn, chive oil and sriracha seasoning
- Chicken scallopini with pan roasted airline, roasted red pepper cream, garganelli, burrata, prosciutto, parmesan and basil
- Brownie sundae with 72% chocolate, rye flour, candies pecans, salted carmel and vanilla gelato
My meal:
- Spinach salad with lardons, local blueberries, warm balsamic, focaccia croutons and parmesan
- Hanger steak with grilled local mushroom, truffle vinaigrette and Yukon whipped potato
- Panna cotta with buttermilk, Tahitian vanilla bean, local blueberries and almond praline
At the end of the date, Ally and I realized that I like during most dates, we hadn't talked about hardly anything. We spent our whole meal oohing and ahhing over how great everything was. This meal is one we won't ever forget. Great job, Zazio's and Webster's!
My restaurant week $25 salad, main & dessert was very good, but the full priced steaks of the others in my party was rather tough. Service was slow and somewhat inattentive. Spacing of the tables and safety measures seemed good.
I felt 100 percent safe in the environment created by Zazios. The tables were spaced far apart. The staff were excellent, knowledgeable about the menu , cocktails and wine selection. It was restaurant week, and the selections were amazing. I dined with three friends and we had different beverages and entrees, all exceptional
We did not sit outside thinking it was a bit chilly, however there is a nice fire to sit around and I don’t think I would hesitate next time.
Thank you to the chef and all the staff
Items on the special menu for Restaurant Week were excellent! I especially liked the spinach salad, corn chowder, and the panna cotta. Can't wait to return to repeat a few items and try some new ones. Service was great. Tables were appropriately spaced per COVID guidelines.
Our dining experience outside was memorable, from the expert wait staff to the delicious food. We enjoyed the total experience! The wine that was featured and recommended by our waitress went so well with my salmon entree. The brownie sundae was a big hit for all four of us. We walked away stuffed and satisfied!!
As always, service was excellent and the food was delicious. Restaurant Week special menu was a nice bonus!
We always love eating at the Radisson restaurants. Now, during Covid-19 the two fine dining spots there are combined into 1 restaurant. The combined menu is limited compared to normal, but what is normal these days? We sat outside and had a lovely setting with the exception of street noise that can’t be controlled. People can be rude thinking they are being cool. The lobster ravioli were great as was the Caesar salad and the calamari appetizer. Cocktails were exceptional.
We had a wonderful family meal at Zazios to celebrate a birthday. We were made to feel very welcome and the Covid procedures were handled well. The staff were excellent and food delicious - especially liked the special budino dessert which was out of this world! Well done Zazios.
This is our favorite restaurant and it’s been a while since we have been there and it was well worth the wait. The food was amazing , we sat outside by the fire which was terrific, and our server was extremely polite and really enjoyed him and the whole evening
Our server was excellent. The food was delicious and the portions were large. They have a nice patio where it’s easy to sit at a safe distance from other tables. Happy hour prices on the beverages was a nice surprise.
My first time eating out since February and I felt very safe! The food was fantastic too!
Spectacular from our having the chef point us the way, to the person who greeted us at the door, to our server who was perfect, polite and professional, we had a great time.
Delicious craft cocktails, lobster ravioli worth the weight gain to desserts..
We spent over 2 hours there and didn’t feel rushed.
Recommended !
Great atmosphere, would recommend Zazios for a nice date night.
Given the unusual spacing as a result of safety protocols, it was much less crowded than the last time (several years ago) and therefore less noisy. Under normal circumstances I would still prefer Websters.
Zazio’s Calamari and Lemon sauce is the best of the best and the best outdoor seating patio in Kalamazoo.
Combined menu with Webster’s Steakhouse. Cowboy ribeye was over cooked, lacked flavor and needed more char. Not worth the $65 charge. Patio seating pleasant on a warm evening.
Bread and truffle butter made it worth the trip back!
Had a great steak. Servers and all staff were masked and gloved at all times. Other diners were also respecting mask rules.
Loved it! Awesome food, outstanding service, and a lovely atmosphere.
Pork chop was amazing. Get the chocolate budino!
Excellent lamb
Food was more than wonderful! And we had some of the best waitresses.
Happy anniversary to us! We enjoyed a delicious anniversary dinner on the patio at Zazio's. Social distancing and cleanliness rules were well followed. We enjoyed wedge salads, filet, scallops, brussels sprouts, and creme brulee. Amazing service too!
