Zarletti - Mequon
We hope you enjoy the simple, thoughtful cuisine. Whether it’s our Neopolitan pizza, hand-crafted in the wood-burning oven imported from Italy, or one of our many housemade pastas, each dish is prepared and presented with both appetite and aesthetic in mind.
We are thrilled to welcome you to the world of Italian food, wine, and fun! Buon appetito!
herbed and grilled wild caught salmon, lemon olive oil, choice of mashed potatoes or vegetables
with choice of basil pesto, pomodoro, roasted garlic cream, or browned butter sage sauce
Service was awesome as always!!! Staff was all masked and tables spaced perfectly for social distancing!!! Pizza feels like you are in Naples Italy!!!!
Very good food; rather pricey; service exceptional. They practiced excellent social distancing and pandemic awareness. Everyone wore masks and gloves.
Overall good, but service was a bit slow. Waited too long for our check and then again to pay.
The vegetarian pizza was wonderful. Service was wonderful-favorite place yo meet friends
Thank you so much
The salmon was tasty and prepared to the proper temperature which was medium. The server was very attentive.
The server was very attentive. He checked on us a number of times. The food was delicious!!!
We had quite a bad experience at Zarletti. Being a Mequon resident, I contacted Zarletti regarding our bad experience and indicated that I'd rather discuss our experience w/ a manager rather then write a bad review on a local business - but 2 weeks later; it seems they have chosen not to respond. We checked in quite early to have a drink at the bar, but indicated that we would be willing to be seated early. After our reservation time passed and the folks on both sides of us at the bar had been seated as walk-ins, I went back to the hostess - It was quite clear that we had been forgotten - slight panic set in and then scrambling to set up a 2-top UPSTAIRS among several very large groups. Nearly 25 minutes later (after starting to embarrassingly wave to whoever would look) a server finally showed up - over 20 minutes MORE (40+ minutes total) we finally got our bottle of white wine (no chiller with the bottle?) - We ordered their famous Burrata as an appetizer - we loved it in the past; nice and warm and spreadable - well it came refrigerator cold and hard - the server told us that's how it's supposed to be (i would love to hear management confirm this?) - of course when the entrees were served they also had been sitting in the kitchen for a long time waiting for wait staff - scallop dinner cold and pizza crust soggy - I once thought this was a wise dining choice - but with so many quality dining options in the Mequon area we won't be back - the sad thing is that management really didn't care to respond ......
The appetizers were great and the food was above average. The service was substandard. Not once did they check in with us to see how things were going. One of our guests had to go to the bar to get another round of drinks.
I love Zarletti. My husband and I had our wedding dinner there over a year ago and when we came in the event coordinator (Allie, she’s fantastic, by the way) recognized us. Everything was great as always, apart from one drink we had to send back. The service was a little slower than normal, but it was a mob scene for valentine’s weekend, so it was to be expected. The food was absolutely perfect and our server was very sweet and attentive despite the busy night. Order the burrata. You won’t be sorry.
Very pleasant setting, excellent service. Food quality was very good indeed. Portion sizes are very variable among choices in the same "category" on the menu (e.g. entrees) -- not that seeking large portions is especially important but the fact that some offerings were generous size and others very modest indeed was noticeable at a table with several diners (elicited enough comments that it deserves mention).
Valentine’s Day menu was perfect. Food was delicious. Sunny was a great waitress. Can’t go wrong with Zarlettis.
We typically dine here a few times a month. We had considered not going at times because of the manager. We didn’t feel we had a way to share our feedback with the owner. So, we tolerated him and kept coming. We were quite surprised to learn on Valentines night that he was no longer there. This was after we observed a woman who appeared to be a manager working like a manager should on one of the busiest nights of the year. We stopped and spoke to her and found she is now the General Manager. I guess the feedback got to the owner after all. We intend to keep coming back, now probably more often.
Food was very good but took quite a long time for our server to take our order.
Very noisy inside and thus it is hard to carry on a conversation
Lunch on Saturday - amazing food and great service. Everything was very delicious!
Really good food. The service is fast and even a little too involved /almost overbearing.
Great food, attentive service, lovely decor, easy parking, quiet booths. A perfect place for a lunch to catch up with friends. Bravo.
Our server was very friendly and attentive. My friend's meal was delicious. Our salad was great, but my pizza came out rather soggy. Otherwise, a good experience. I do miss the fried pizza, however.
As always Brian and the Zarletti team did a fantastic job for a special birthday dinner. Attentive service, delicious food and great wine. Thank you!
Lobster Ravioli was to die for! My husband had the rabbit ragu, which he really enjoyed. The only negative thing was at the bar, there was a $2 price discrepancy with one of our drinks - menu was cheaper than we were billed. The bartender was very nice and quick to adjust it without question.
We are regulars at Zarletti’s. We eat there with friends or just my husband and me.
The service tonight was exceptional! Yeah Rebecca and thank you!
As always, food was outstanding! Had a delightful waitress who gave great feedback on the menu!
Very good value for the money. Great food. Can't wait to go back. Lunches are good, too.
Terrific food and service, as always. Great standard menu, with excellent specials, too.
My son very reasonable. We will be back to try the pizza,
It's gotten a little expensive for the quality of the food. Still good.
I made an on line reservation which was super easy, they sent me 2 confirmation text messages, which I thought was a great touch. go there and was greeted with a smile. stopped at the bar before we where seated for a old fashion, which was vary good. the 7 of us where seated and had a great meal with friends and family. thank you Zarletti's
Shrimp linguini was under heat lamps and rubbery.
The other three meals ranged from okay to good. Bruschetta appetizer was good as was the wine pairing.
Overall it was a nice evening. The noise level is higher than I remember. The food was very good. Service was a little slow. The waitress seemed overwhelmed by a group of 10. I didn’t appreciate that the bus boy took away our appetizer plates while we were still eating our bread and olives. He also took away the oil on the table while we still had a whole basket of bread there. That seemed odd and I had to say something. And I did have to ask for water several times. That wasn’t an automatic refill
Not my first visit to this restaurant. Was disappointed on this occasion - a special holiday luncheon recommended to my guests. Service was slow - restaurant was not crowded - food was acceptable but not up to the quality levels of my previous visits. Will hesitate to return here with guests in the future - may give restaurant another chance if dining alone.
The half priced pizza on tuesdays is really great! It gives us the chance to try different pizza's without too much worry that we won't like it. Honestly though, we have liked all of them so far. Diavola is our favorite as long as you like spicy!
wonderful restaurant. great bar and dining staff. friendly and attentive. Food was outstanding. burrata is a must have for an appetizer
We always have a great dinner here with our entire family.
I guess going on a Saturday night is out from now on. We were delayed in traffic and called to say we’d be a few minutes late. We requested a booth online because we have a hearing impaired diner, but we got a small table along a wall near the checkout area. My favorite dish is always their ragu. I ordered it but our server returned after a while only to be told they were out of it. This was a 7pm reservation. Ragu is a staple on the menu. I was disappointed. Since menus had been taken away, I just ordered the ravioli of the day. It was very noisy that evening. Really hard to hear. My husband had the seafood dish and really enjoyed it. I chose a cup of the soup du jour to start. Not what I’d hoped for. They took the soup off our bill. Our server was very nice. The mushroom pasta dish was ok. We may be back. It’s always been great before. Maybe just the holiday/Saturday night rush.
Great place for our book club's Christmas dinner. Good food, lovely atmosphere, attentive service.
Good food, great service, a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but maybe not out of line compared to similar places.
Food, as always was delicious! The only negative is we were seated in the bar(first time) and it was super noisy where at times we couldn’t hear each other across the table. So next time I will just request the dining area not the bar.
After several visits I can honestly say this is a great restaurant. Food is always good and service prompt. They have some interesting menu items, a little different from the typical Italian restaurant. Definitely gets a 5 star rating from me.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
