Zarletti - Mequon
We hope you enjoy the simple, thoughtful cuisine. Whether it’s our Neopolitan pizza, hand-crafted in the wood-burning oven imported from Italy, or one of our many housemade pastas, each dish is prepared and presented with both appetite and aesthetic in mind.
We are thrilled to welcome you to the world of Italian food, wine, and fun! Buon appetito!

Great overall experience! Prompt, attentive, friendly service. Food was excellent and served at proper temperatures. Drinks great, too; but drinks were a bit high priced. Prices were not listed on cocktail menu.
Fantastic reunion with friends
The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. Server was very nice and conscience. We ordered fried calamari which was accompanied by a cheesy dipping sauce; we asked for some marinara to use as an alternate. The calamari was highly over salted unfortunately. I enjoyed my dinner special, halibut with macadamia crust which was well prepared and tasty if not a little bland. My partner had cavatappi with spicy sausage. Cavatappi was nothing special but the sausage was good.
It was a nice meal in a nice location.
Delicious! Order the Buratta with balsamic! Cannot go wrong!
They lost our reservation, so we did not eat there. To their credit, they are trying to make amends and I will update my rating after that experience.
The sea bass special was fabulous!
Excellent experience from start to finish; we’ll definitely be back! The food, beverages, service, and atmosphere made for a wonderful date night/birthday celebration
Zarletti has a great reputation and Saturday evening didn't disappoint. Our waitress Leslie was very attentive and the food was as usual very good. The special Chilean Sea Bass was presented well and the Chicken Parm was also very good. Kudos to a great Team both in the kitchen and the dining room
We haven't gone here in a while which isn't totally due to Covid. I had surgery several years ago which limits what I can drink - no soda, no alcohol, no bubble water. Therefore, when I go to dinner I enjoy a really good iced tea with my meal. Zarletti's is not inexpensive (although I think the prices are appropriate for the quality), but sadly for such an upscale restaurant, they do not offer patrons fresh brewed ice tea. I was able to observe the beverage counter with coffee makers and water pitchers and there seemed to be plenty of room to add a small ice tea brewer. I have one at home that makes a gallon of iced tea in around 8 minutes and takes up a space less than 1 square foot. I truly wish upscale restaurants would understand that many people are moving away from alcohol and enjoy either a bubbly water or iced tea with their meal. Other restaurants in the area which don't offer fresh brewed iced tea are Mr. B's, St. Paul's Fish, and Cafe Hollander, but fast food McDonald's offers both fresh brewed ice tea and sweetened tea!
Service we found excellent at Zarletti's and our food was served promptly, well-plated, and appropriate temperature. We were not offered Parmesan (my pasta had some on top, but I had wanted more) and I couldn't get the attention of the server quick enough to make the request and still have a hot meal. Despite that small fumble, we enjoyed our evening. I will again ask that Zarletti's and other high-end restaurants add an ice tea brewer. They offer coffee reconstituted from a powder and delivered via a bar nozzle, so why do that with ice tea?
Food was delicious and the service by Erin was excellent.
The food was fantastic and our server was delightful. Easily the best calamari we've ever had -- light and crispy!
Wobbly table; waitress complained she had too many tables; we got a flight of wines but waitress didn’t know for sure which wine was which; food was so-so for the price
Service was great food was good and hot and came out quick !!!
The sea bass with orange sesame seed glaze was delicious. Thank you for the complimentary chocolate cake, SO good!
The food was excellent, stellar service and safe approaches.
Service could be better. The waitress was too quick to give us bill, and never asked if we wanted more coffee, tea or maybe another after dinner drink. We felt rushed.
We were charged for olives with our Martinis, which are usually free.
Also, a small pot of hot water and a tea bag cost $4.00?!! Don’t think we will be back.
Their pizza didn't taste nearly as good as before Covid-19, I don't know if they changed anything.
Absolutely amazing really enjoyed our waitress was very prompt with her service
I was disappointed with our most recent visit to your eatery. My dish was delicious as was the antipasto we ordered. My husband's dish, eggplant parmesan was a real disappointment. It was rubbery.
The service wasn't great either. Our waitress was new so we overlooked some of what she didn't provide in terms of knowledge of the menu items and food in general.
I am now reluctant to go back, although the ravioli special was outstanding.
Shrimp scampi was just a touch overdone. Otherwise it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Tiramisu was great too. I didn't find it too too expensive... but the portions are little less than you'd expect as an American. Picture baseball sized clump of noodles and about 5 shrimp for over 20$. I mean, noodles are cheap. Cmon. Unfortunately the rest of our table didn't love their dishes as much. It was so loud in there, it was quite hard to hear each other and the server. Plus it overlooks... a parking lot. Nothing like being blinded by headlights while people are pulling in and out all night. In these times, I view "going out" as a very small risk to my health, and I don't know that this place will be worth the risk again. But if you do go, get the Burratta, scampi, tiramisu, or bruschetta and ask to sit facing away from the parking lot.
Great place. Loved the food. Service was exceptional.
A lovely Date night. We Sat at the counter. Very good personal service. Nice, wine, tasty appetizers, & dinner.
Cost effective. We will be back
Food and service was outstanding. I made a reservation because we needed to eat at a certain time. I was shocked when I got there and the sign says required a reservation. Would of never of known this, first time I had ever been there.
Our waitress Josephine was delightful.
It was a busy night at the restaurant but she took it all in stride.
The ravioli with brown butter was fantastic as was the pappadel boulognes.
Both dishes were piping hot.
Tiramisu as always was a great end to the meal.
Family of 4 dinner. Waitress was sweet but may have been newer as we felt neglected at times and needed simple water and drink refills. Either waitress or bartender substituted beer ordered for another without asking my son what he would prefer. Special of pork belly was really talked up but found it really wasn’t that special as I threw out my take home leftovers.
I really like zarletti sand will be back but this was not one of our better visits.
This place has fantastic food. I've never had a bad meal. Love the Italian Chop salad!!! The last time we started with the Buratta app. OMG! SO GOOD! And enough to take leftovers home. For our main dishes I had the Chicken parm and my husband had the Zarletti's burger. Both were outstanding. Service is always good. My only complaint is that it's always freezing in there. I am always hot so it really is so cold. We try to go there at least monthly if not more. They are doing a great job with social distancing too.
If you’ve been to the downtown location this one is gonna not hod up. Food not as good, service was horrible. I would avoid this location and stick to downtown
We rang in the New Year with a phenomenal meal. The rosemary Paloma was amazing to boot! EVERY single meal we’ve had at Zarletti has been exceptional! And, that burrata with prosciutto IS something to write home about!
I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant that couldn’t make a good spaghetti and meatballs!
Very good meal.
Great service, love the lemon chicken. Our waitress was excellent.
We went at 4pm on a Wednesday so there was only one other table. Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job. Our dinners were very good, I had the cavatappi with spicy sausage and my husband had the salmon, food came fairly quickly. Overall a great experience
Food was terrible. Not many options to choose from. One of their "most ordered" menu items was nothing but breaded chicken drenched in lemon juice, making it soggy. My husband worked hard to plan a weekend away for us as we don't get it often. It was a waste of money for sure. Ive gotten better food through a drive through. Way overpriced too. Its like they are trying to be fancy, but really are not even close. Never again.
The Neopolitan style pizza is excellent and the Caesar salad is delicious. Our server Ana was very pleasant, and helpful with wine recommendations.
Food was good, my guest was not greeted or escorted to my table, where I was waiting. Had to ask for bread, asked for a straw and she handed me an unwrapped straw with her bare hand. She kept interrupting us like every 10mins like hurry up and eat. We were the only people of color that night and my guess was uncomfortable because she was being starred at by others in the restaurant. I have eaten here for years my first time having this experience. I even rented out the entire upstairs and staff for my anniversary one year.
Service is a little slow.
Food was excellent and the service outstanding.
Zarletti was always a winner with us. This time, the calamari was chewy, the aoli sauce was tasteless and the pasta was starchy. The bread was not the same delicious bread they always served. However, the shrimp were big, tasty and cooked perfectly. the chopped salad I took home was also good. I wish they would go back and serve the delicious food I remember.
