   This is our “favorite” restaurant in Mikwaukee. The ambience, service and food are wonderful ! Anna our server is incredibly pleasant and efficient making this a great experience. Fish and pasta dishes are delicious ! Thanks to the entire Zarletti’s team!

   Eating at the bar was a little different especially for our anniversary but the wife didn’t mind. The bartender was very knowledgeable and attentive. It was a great experience.

   The drinks, appetizers, dinners and dessert were excellent as usual. The service was a problem but not with any individual because it appeared to be due to understaffing. We had the corner table tucked in by the entrance and a large group came in. While the table appeared to be available, it took an interminable amount of time to accommodate them for the setup. Hence, 10 or so people crowding the entrance area having multiple conversations to the point we could not hear each other at our table for more than 20 minutes. Additionally, we ordered macchiatos to go with desert but never came. The person behind the bar was pulling multiple duties at the bar and in the restaurant. I saw her make an attempt to make the coffee but was never able to complete it, we gave up.

    This was the worst dining experience we've ever had. My wife and I have been there countless times and have referred many to dine there, neither will continue. The food was good, we ordered many appetizers, entrees, desserts, and bottles of wine. When we were finishing our desserts, they started to clear our table and let us know they had a 7:00 PM reservation that needed the table for, and we needed to leave. This was surprising as we had just spent over $500 on dinner and had tried to order an after-dinner cocktail, but was told no by Karen. We used to look at dinner here as a dining experience, not just being a number getting ushered out the door in a rude and disrespectful manner. Their success has obviously gone to their heads and are not the same restaurant they used to be.

    Took myself out to dinner for my birthday and everyone was so sweet. It was an amazing time and I’m so glad to have spent it there. Food was absolutely phenomenal. I need to come back!

    In from NY and Zarletti was recommended by local friends. Everything was fabulous. The table was ready at time of reservation. Started with wine and antipasti. The pear salad was delicious, very flavorful. My husband and I shared the pasta bolognase with handmade pappardelle and the ossobucco. By far the best meal we’ve had in a long time and we eat our often!

    Great food and service. We felt a little rushed but the restaurant is not huge and probably need to turn tables quickly. Not a he place to have a few cocktails before dinner but outstanding food.

    Zarletti was wonderful! My ravioli del giorno was absolutely delicious, everyone else enjoyed their meals, our waiter was charming, and even though the restaurant was fully booked, the noise level was reasonable and we could carry on a conversation without struggling to hear. This is top pick for a restaurant when I return to Milwaukee.

    A little disappointed that when we arrived for our reservation that we couldn't have a drink at the bar. They now seat people there for eating. Staff was just ok. Our server had a bit of an attitude, but we love the food.

    We have regularly enjoyed this restaurant but this visit did not live up to their past performance. Food was mediocre, service was slow with no flow (late wine arrival, long interval between salad and entree), flavors were off in Ragu and wilted salad greens. Kind of sad.

    Very good. Intimate setting next to a bar. They have 13 tables. We were seated at a high table in the corner window. We were able to talk to each other without screaming. Our waiter was very attentive and informative.

    I thought the food was excellent. I had the pasta con funghi with homemade pappardelle noodles and a light red wine that was on special and recommended by the waiter. It was the most I’ve ever spent on a glass of wine, but paired well with my dish. We plan to visit again.

    We have been to Zarletti’s quite a few times now and we are never disappointed. If you are looking for authentic Italian food cooked with love, Zarletti’s is a “must try”. It is beautifully presented and delivers a celebration for your tastebuds. It takes me back 30yrs to Nona’s kitchen and table.
