    The service and hospitality from Brian at the bar were top notch. Outstanding knowledge of food and Italian wine list. Treated us so well and was a pleasure to chat with while we dined. Food and wine were both excellent. Decent bourbon selection too with a few rarities. First time visit and could only try so much food with just two of us so can’t wait to return!

    Phenomenal! Our first time. One of the best Italian restaurants we have ever enjoyed. All of the food was flavorful and extremely fresh. Our service was friendly, punctual and attentive. The restaurant is smaller and that is part of its tremendous appeal.

    Amazing service and food! We've been here 4 times now, definitely one of top places to go in Milwaukee, might even be #1. Highly recommend the pistachio crusted fish, bolognese, & charcuterie board.

    Waitress needed work. I had to ask for a spoon for my coffee to stir the cream & sugar, THEN SHE BROUGHT ONE. She wasn’t very attentive & wasn’t that busy. She also asked if we wanted a bag to carry our left overs in … we said yes & “never”got ONE. The salad wasn’t crispy..very limp. Waitress “asked” if we wanted bread….took it away before asking if we were finished…. We had to ask for fresh pepper The tomato basil soup was WARM. My mushroom ravioli (which was a special ) sauce had no flavor ….it was oily. I added cheese & more cheese & salt otherwise it was bland. Our guest (who has also dined there for years) had the other ravioli special, which she said wasn’t she expected..pretty flavorless with a little zing. She too Added cheese & salt improved the flavor. We have ALWAYS BEEN TOTALLY PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING AT ZARLETTI. SO, I guess a one time experience like last evening is okay. We’ve dined there since the day it was open. And will go back.

    We were visiting Milwaukee and made a reservation at this restaurant. The food, drinks, service and ambiance were excellent and we would highly recommend dining here. The only comment/criticism I have is the count of items in our appetizer and bread servings. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and it came with 3 pieces. The bread was the same...only served 3 slices of bread with a large plate of dipping oil. Why an odd number? Most people dine as a couple of 2 or 4. Seems odd to only serve 3 small slices of bread.
